Behind the Mic

Wake Up Calls

Get the fuck out of bed, bitch. Go. Get up. And then they got going. Gotta wake up. Gotta wake up, bitch. Get up. Get up, get up. Get up. What is going on? What is going on? Good morning. It's the Strad soldier here for the wake up call. The pre. The week, the pre show for the wake up for the weekend shift. I forgot I was doing. Yeah, yeah. What's up? We got Khan out here. I think you changed your name to Iron Jaw. That's awesome. That's pretty cool. I think that was a character on he man. I'm not sure, but, yeah, that's really cool. I seen you over on stock twits, too, so. Good morning. Thanks for being out here. Everybody else, good morning. Wake them up. Wake them up. Wake them up. Text somebody. Tell them, get up. What are you. What are you still sleeping for? It's. It's 1030. It's 1030 eastern standard time. Okay? You gotta get up now.

Coast Debate

If you're in California, on the west side, you got a little bit of excuse. I'll give you a little bit of excuse, but. But that gonna. If you're on the east coast, your ass better be up right now. It is too late. It is too late to be sleeping. good morning. Good morning. Good morning. wake them up. And right before I. Right before I give you the mic, right before I give you the mic con, I just want to say, everybody, great job on Friday. Great job on Friday. We had some really good trades going on out there. I took no new trades on Friday, even though everybody was saying this is the time. But honestly, it was only another couple bucks. All right, to the upside. Now, there were a lot of opportunities out there. That's good. All right, but I want those long red and green bars. All right. So, one thing I had. One thought I had, yesterday was, if you're at the gym, you don't walk up to a bodybuilder and tell them that you know, you don't walk up to a bodybuilder and tell him he doesn't run enough, you know, and it's not smart.

Specialties and Policing

You might get punched in the face. Same thing with a runner. You don't walk up to the person on the treadmill or go up to the person that's actually putting in some miles and tell them, hey, you're not lifting enough for weights. That's stupid. All right? That's stupid. They'll probably kick your butt. We all have our own specialties, and we have the things that we like to do, and we have the things that we're good at. And I tell everybody, stick with the things that you are good at. You can learn to and expand, but damn it, stick with the stuff that you are good at, and then stop trying to police everybody else's stuff. You know, let the people trade how they want to trade. I'll let you. Go ahead, con. Here we go. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Go ahead, man. Tell us how you been.

Trading Week Review

Good morning, James. Good to see you, man. Happy Saturday. You know, I have to say, your introduction with that music, right? Get out of bed. That is amazing. That makes. That puts a smile on my face, man. That's. That's. That's the energy we need, man. Exactly. The energy we need on the sad day. Good, man. That's all good. Good to be here. Good to be here. Heck, yeah. How was your trading this week? You do anything good? Oh, this week? You know what? I'm putting down a note not to trade this week again, ever. And I'm making that note, man. You know, I was just testing the waters, but, damn, this week was up and down. It was messy.

Trading Challenges

It was really messy. I'm down 300. 150 Tuesday, 150 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I was just. Was watching price. A little bit of paper cuts there. But you know what? Messy. It was messy for me. It was really messy for me. So I think best was that just to leave this week alone and just keep your capital and just say, you know, I'm taking the week off. I'm just watching it. I'm gonna start on Monday. That's what it's. Man, I've had two phenomenal weeks, and what I don't want to do is just give it all back, you know? Correct. This. This week was messy. Oh, gosh, I can't tell you. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I saw it.

Market Environment and Trading Moves

It was inside week most of the week. And. And then we got, you know, we finally got some moves, but they were only, you know, two, three dollar moves. Like that's saying, that's not great trading environment, you know? No, no. I mean, for comments and shares. You're right. Inside day, you don't. You don't do anything. You sit on your hands and you preserve your capital futures side. Wow. I mean, future side was tough. Those wicks on NQ, they call them a widow wake. Widowmaker for a reason. Right? I mean, when I saw that wick, I thought everybody to the left was liquidated. Absolutely. You made your money Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and that week came it just took everybody away. Yeah. Everybody away. That was crazy. Yeah. Yeah, it's crazy.

Capital Preservation and Lessons Learned

We can give some back, but we don't give it all back. No, exactly. So. Yeah, you know what? Yeah, it's tough week. Tough food. That's smart, though. That's smart. That you. You were. You were conscious enough and. And just in, you know, focused enough to go, you know what? I'm taking some losses. This doesn't. You know, this is not what I did last week. I'm not gonna give it all back. I mean, that's a huge lesson. Anybody needs to, like, really, like, take in and follow. That's awesome. That's awesome. That's good, man. I. Good, man. I hope you had a good week as well, and the kids are doing well and well behaved kind of thing. That's what we need.

Family Time and Personal Well-being

I'm gonna. My 16 year old, she's. I'm putting on the xbox today. She's not well, so she's a bit sick. So, you know, I'm taking care of her, so I'm just gonna. She loves call of duty, so, you know, we gonna spend time together today. Just off the charts. And, you know, I think it's important to have some family time, right? Yes. I tell everybody, like, you know, I just. I don't just trade the strat. I live it, you know? I mean, don't let get. Don't get triangle. Triangle down on your personal relationships. You know what I mean? That's a good. That's a good tip.

Trading Strategies and Expert Guidance

Yep, yep, yep. I'm gonna let Moosa get on here, man. I'm. Moose has been trying to get on the last couple shows. I'm gonna let him get on here. Go ahead, Moussa. How are you doing? Pretty good. How you doing? Fine, thank you. Thank you. I just wanted to thank you, jermaine, for sending me the slide. I did get your email last week. Thanks so much for that. I heard. I heard you had a couple good trades, kind of muted. I can hear you, but you're muffled. And I had a couple of good trades on EF. And then you got a question.

Understanding Market Dynamics

Try one more time. Yeah, yeah. I was thanking you for the updated slide that you sent me. Oh, yeah, yeah. Thank you so much for that. So I was just also wondering, can I ask you a question? Just related to the crash. Yeah, yeah. We talked so much about the three. Like, when you have the. When you have the higher and below taken out. Right. So what do you do on the next candle after you get the three are you able to. Is three an action? Yep. Okay, so you're asking, when a three hits the screen, what do you do? So when.

Trading Gut Instincts and Market Signals

When the snare three hits the screen, I'm doing two things. I'm looking for. I'm looking for it. If it goes inside, if it goes inside bars, then I'm. Then I know what you know? Then I know I can wait. That's good. If it goes three two up or. Three two down, I know who the most aggressive participant patient group is, and I'm going with that. I'm going with that all day, every day. But just. Yeah, yeah. And. But if it opens up, if there's a scenario through on the screen and it opens up inside, don't touch it.

Consolidation and Avoiding Risky Trades

Just wait. Because it's, you know, it's opening up as an inside bar. So we want to see if that becomes a three one two up or three one two, you know, or you know. It's a consolidate. It's a consolidation. You don't want to jump in on a yemenite. You know on that. I don't. I don't trade the 50% rule. I know this is going to make everybody go nuts, but I don't trade the 50% rule. If you see a scenario three becoming a thing on the screen and you're not in that in your direction, leave it alone.

Final Thoughts on Trading Approaches

Leave it alone. That's my opinion on that. No problem. No problem.

Opening Remarks

Anybody else? Anybody else? Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. You can. Anybody else can jump. Tell me how your training went. Week went. This is the wake up call getting everybody awake for. And get ready for the weekend shift, which is about 20 minutes, where I talk about what happened in the sectors, talk about your trades, and look for actionable signals for next week. Anybody else want to jump on the mic? Let's see here. Took. No. No new trades. I'm still in. I'm still in Tesla with some common shares, even though Tesla is being crappy. Tesla doing what Tesla does, going to the lows. No one gives a crap about. No dag on robo cab. Nobody cares. Nobody cares. Nobody cares about robo taxi. Elon Musk. We know what we want. We want cheaper Teslas. That's what we want.

Tesla's Market Performance

We want. We want a Tesla that doesn't cost $37,000. You know, that's what we want. We want something we can actually. So until you figure that out, your Cybertruck's going nowhere. Sorry. That's not doing anything. Until the common person can afford one of your electric vehicles, no one's going to care about your EV's, hopefully. We got Kia, we got Ford, we got a couple other companies making electric vehicles. So we'll see. We'll see. But Tesla is not. No one gives a care. No, no one gives a crap about robo taxi. Nobody cares. No new trades. No new trades this week. Still holding on to Tesla. Like I said, dick, sporting goods, kind of crappy. Disney, Disney came out of the ashes up to $94.

Market Movements and Stock Review

That was interesting. And then Boeing. Oh my gosh, I did not get any puts on Boeing. I should have. I wanted to. Some puts to the downside on Boeing. That thing is falling all part, it's falling apart. The workers, they're on strike. The, the planes keep falling out of sky. I'm telling you what, Boeing, it's what s and P 500 said it was gonna be rated to junk. You know, I mean, they're gonna change the rating down to junk. So. I don't know, man. Find some puts. Find some puts. Anybody else? Khan, you want to get back on? I'm kind of hooking up some stuff here. Again. It's the pre market. That's right, man. That's right.

Improving Trading Skills

Now I want to know how Musso is doing. A, you were speaking last time about, you know, how you're working on getting better at trading and becoming a better trader and all that, and managing your risk and all that. So wanted to hear, how you doing, mate? Lucid. I'm not trading lucid. What do you mean? I'm still trying to, I'm still trying to secure myself here. I'm trying to find the very good platform to work on. And lastly, I signed on to webull. Does anyone use Weebly? I'm sorry, buddy, you just muffled. I don't know. Jay, are you hearing him correctly or clearly? No, he's really muffled.

Audio Issues in the Meeting

I don't know. Use a different microphone or try to use. Could you get closer to your phone? Probably. Musa, I'm just hearing you muffled. It's not clear. I think it's my computer. Let me try and change my audio source. I'm trying to. Let me try and fix that and then I'll come back on. Let me do that. That's okay. Okay. What does somebody else who's choose here today? Dro. Yeah, yeah, con, kind of unofficial second host of the show. Go ahead. I love it, I love it. That's what we do with striders while we're waiting on Dro.

Collaboration and Communication

Dro, you want to get on the mic? That's what we do. That's what striders do. We cover each other's back. You know what I mean? That's the best thing about the strat, is we can look at it and go, I can say Boeing's going to the moon, and then Khan can get on, be like, I don't know, man. This is, this is inside month is two down in a month, inside week. And it's inside on the sixties, like right now. I don't think this is going to the highs. And we can look at it and then I can go, okay, yeah, you're right. I see, I see. Let me wait.

Advantages of the Strat

As opposed to just these other groups. Excuse me, other trading systems, they're just like, well, I don't know, the fair value gap on a dangling participle in the volume. The volume capitulation, you know, deception, the interception, foreplay, you know, interaction with, you know, all that other craziness that I hear on Twitter and on these Bloomberg news and things like that, volume profiles and bear traps and bull and nobody knows what to do. But with the strat, again, I can look at something and go, this is what I think. And then Khan and Musa and any other trader that trades the strat can look at it and go, I don't know, man. Strat says, this is not, this is not going to the upside.

Final Thoughts

Be careful, you know? Or just the opposite. They can say, you know what? You're right. This looks great. I think I'm going to get into. Because we can communicate what's happening in the markets quickly. Quickly. That's what I like about the strap, dro, you gonna jump on? Let's jump on, man.

Market Insights

Yeah, we're just talking about what's going on in the markets and on the weekend shift, I'll be going over a lot more. You know, like I said, just waking them up. Waking up. You probably hear my kids in the background playing for tonight and all that stuff. I'm a regular dude. I'm a regular dude and I'm just trying to help people not get killed. Not get killed. That's awesome. Right? There's a lot of other people that just watch other. Watch others just lose it all. I don't like that. I'm never like that. We don't do that here in the strat.

Trading Strategies

Let's see here. Dro request. Yep. Let's see here. Go ahead. Do you. Go ahead, dro. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Go ahead. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. I'm just listening in. I love the track, the strat. I'm actually looking at Lyft right now. It created a three on a weekly. So good when you guys talk about, you know, the threes and the inside bars and just patiently waiting on, you know, whether it breaks the top or the bottom. So, no. Heck yeah. That's awesome.

Trading Threes

Yeah, yeah. And like I said earlier about the three, like, just wait if that is a. If there's a three on the screen, don't try and trade it while it's. While it's. While it's doing whatever. Just. Just wait. After it's done, they'll let you know if this is for real, because what you don't want is a scenario three. And the next bar opens. It goes two up, and it comes all the way straight back down through the. Through the broadening formation, you know, through that snare, and you get wrecked, you know? So be careful with those threes. Be careful. But heck yeah.

Week in Review

I like, you know, Lyft. I have to look at Lyft. We'll talk about Lyft on the show. Just for funsies. Yeah. Uber had a nice week last week, so I know, like, Lyft liked to do sympathy, so it created that. So I'm watching that. Yes. I like that, too. That's what we call that. Trading simultaneous breaks. If Uber is doing something, I'm going to look at Lyft. That's right. And then I'm looking at anything else, does the same thing. Let me see here.

Winning Positions

What's a couple other ones? Like, if I'm looking at Lowe's, I'm looking at home Depot. If I'm looking at banks, I'm looking at all the banks. You know, I want those sign. I don't want just one winning position. I want two, three, four winning positions. That's what I want. You're on the right track. Drl. Thank you. Good, good. Heck, yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. I like that.

Stock Market Plays

I'll look at Lyft on the show. I have to write that down, my notes. Let's see here. What else happened, Nvidia? Man, I asked for Stark stock, weekly stock char. He asked him for a play for the month, and he gave me Nvidia and he gave it to me last week, and I haven't had a chance to play it on the show yet, so I'm playing on it. I'm gonna play that clip today. But daggone, it. Nvidia on the bell on Monday just took off.

Market Trends

Like, exploded. Exploded. So now I'm like, well, let me show this video anyway, even though the play's dang near almost over. Oh, man. That happens too. That happens too. But we'll see if I have any more gas than that. But Nvidia was also awesome. Carvana was something that I saw out there. Not necessarily related to Lyft or Uber, but Carvana, they also deal with vehicles and that is moving as well. It's doing really well. Really well.

Wrap-Up

Let's see who else out there. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Good morning. Who else we got there? No? All right. It's just us. All right. I thought we had another person. I am getting to a point where I need to wrap it up and put the last little touches on thing. My microphone does work and my camera is not fuzzy. Yeah, if you watch the last couple shows, you know what I'm talking about.

Acknowledgments

Thank you, Khan. Thank you, Musa. Thank you, Dro, for getting on the mic and participating. That's fun. I'm going to replay this just so everybody else can just. Just learn and hear. It's not our fault that they was lazy and didn't get up this morning. That's not our fault. Anyway, this is the strat soldier for the wake up call, the pre show to the weekend shift.

Conclusion

I think I'll see you guys in about. Thanks, man. Take care. See you. See you in the show, Mandy. Yes. See you on the show.
