Behind the Mic

OK, I appreciate you having me here, really excited to share my journey aboard Battle and share with all of you. And just to hear this amazing revived or really gets me excited to yeah. So a little bit about myself and how this all came about. My name is unver naki. I'm very excited to be here. I all started really with a body club, just the. The community was very strong from the get go, when the a drop happened. Somehow I ended up having my, like, mind made about this whole ecosystem I bought. They ape, like two weeks into the into the project and then being like number of the pet was probably being more a member of an exclusive club. Uh, since I was playing tennis, I always wanted to be at intercontinental clubs instead of just playing the, uh the golf fields, you know? So I always wanted to have something special unique because I'm fucking special, unique and yeah. The back club was a spot on that note. So I don't know why and when and probably december 21 something december twenty. As always, I was scrolling around, I was in captivate by the avatars and that's when I just go full in on on the yacht club and from since. And it got me the chance to connect to a lot of people like you all around the world because i had my net somewhere else. And this kind of allowed me to, yeah, connect to amazing people around the globe, coming places where I probably never would come to because I thought they're not interested in me or they look interested to me. Like in Paris, for example. So, yeah. That's pretty much the same story I had. Right. Like. You know what? I miss the sense of community. Right. A lot of people miss those things nowadays. There is no clubs. There is not much you can go and hang out with, even locally sometimes. So it's it's this kind of thing that brings you all together. No matter where you are in the world, it's been, like, wonderful, amazing people around the globe coming places where you probably never would come to because they're not interested in me, but we'll still to get connected somehow, You know what I mean? So I guess it's a win situation for both sides because you are more than welcome at the club and your person is very well known and present your ape and you're showing the club is unique, luxury, and special to people, you know? So, as I would say, if I would start making movies and animated movies by myself, I would say, okay, let me look what movies were out there, who made them, and came to, or come, I'm going to come to your profile and see, oh, he's an ape and so I'm into NFTs, too, you know? So I would feel instantly connected to you without being connected, you know what I mean? Absolutely. I mean, it's not dark unless you see it as dark. It's like, I love my… I am my ape and my ape is me. I've tweeted that. And it's true. And but it's also true that evolution NFTs is like Twitter had a lot of problems. You had a lot of people who are like secretly spies or people who are just always mad at you or mad at what you were doing and I feel like by people being able to interact with you with their apes or with their whatever, pfps or whatever, I feel like it had a lot of room for improvement and evolution, you know? Yeah, let's say Twitter is very shady place sometimes, but I don't want to be drawn away by this information, yes? I love the yeah, club as much as you do. You can hear it by my voice. I'm very passionate about the whole journey. And I think there was one point where it got a little weird with some side communities, but that's pretty much also a normal development, so to say, as I see it now. Yeah. Yeah, no, definitely, man. You can have people that will come hang out with you. But, you know what I mean. I mean, I'm so appreciative of you having me here and I'm always excited about doing this annually, having these conversations with you guys and having the chance to share my journey with Battle and with my ape. Hopefully, that's not the last time being here. And yeah, thank you. Thank you for this as well. Proud to share my story with you all. Absolutely. Another cool story we have here. So, the Bored Ape is, of course, famous for that kind of collaborative mindset it has created and so tell us you have your ape now. And how are things going? Like, how was it showing your ape somewhere for the first time? How did it feel? It was hilarious. You know, I came to a local event to a friend of mine, really close friend. It was more like a yacht, kind of evening outing, slum, something like that. But again, same kind of concept as you mentioned. And as I mentioned, it was challenging. A little bit weird in the beginning because people are not familiar with all the apes, but they kind of liked the idea when you share. So when you present your ape and you explain your ape story, people really get excited. Plus you're getting instant connection to our club, to other bored apes, you know. So for example, he was very passionate about the prison apes, and every time I meet someone, I don't know, in Berlin, Paris, wherever, Croatia, don't know, somebody passionate about prison apes. It's just hilarious to see their face light up, you know? Because they're like, oh yeah, you're one of us. Yeah. And that's that's the thing I love very much about this Flyers, Paris, Ecosystem. Yeah, I totally get excited for that. But I have my own set that I present at the various events. I love being part of this community in order to probably share my ape story with the others. No, absolutely. Like I said, you obviously come from very interesting backgrounds, but you also are someone who is very passionate about the Bored Ape ecosystem. So it's very clear that you would want to be more involved. Right. And I would want to. Yes. Share my story anytime, as I could, you know. So, yeah, I'm traveling around for like four weeks now.I came to the club last time we had the event, remember? I told you before, and yeah. It's very challenging but also very exciting to share the ape's journey and story. Where do you think you would want to go with all these experiences? Do you have certain goals set for the future yet or not really? Or do you have some milestones you aim to hit sooner or later? How do you see your journey progressing? Very good question. I mean, there are kind of ambitions, there are goals, of course. I shared that my goal is to probably just make people aware of the potential of this ecosystem. Yes, there are like certain targets and goals of mine. For example, I definitely want to place my ape probably in a few movies or so, because I'm very interested in this community and entertainment space. And the same as well, I love to share the ape to every person I meet along the way. So there's definitely some milestones. And yeah, I just go with the flow, bro. But we have to see. Life is probably challenging another way. So let's see. Yeah, no, definitely, man. It sounds like you have set your goals and are aware of the potential of your ape and your goals are very tangible and great. And definitely it sounds like it's going the right way and very exciting and very inspiring, honestly. So thank you so much for sharing your story today and I'm sure it has inspired a lot of people in the audience and thank you for being here. Thank you. I appreciate your words and yeah, thank you. I'm very pleased to be here. Absolutely. Absolutely. All right. OK so, our low right now is let's take a deep breath. This was cool. Thanks again for sharing your story. Thank you so much for this. Thank you so much. And definitely like we were saying, it's interesting to see the evolution of the NFTs and how they have become very different from what they were intended to become. Right. And so now, we will have a chat with another very interesting individual who has also joined us today. Hey, how are you doing? Yeah, hey thanks for having me. I appreciate being here. OK to share my journey a little bit with you and everyone, I really love this enthusiasm and yeah, I'm excited to share. Right.So. Would you mind telling us like who you are and what your story is? Oh, yeah, sure. My name is John and I have been. Right. In contact and part of the book, a book club, and yes, my story relating to the book probably is very similar. I heard. All right. OK, if probably she should believe that. Which one of those you relate to? Right. How was it for you? I mean it was great to connect, I was always going into art since I was born, pretty much an artsy kid, very connected, community wise, very passionate about community. And my journey aboard Ape, like, connected me stronger. Maybe played a lot with my friends before. And we didn't have that such connection. And being probably in this community, somehow more times than before, especially the pandemic was kind of amazing. And handshake was, oh my God, I found my people. I found my tribe. Right? I was always looking for it somehow and being always curious about art communities. And I got offline by lockdown. I came in touch with, you know, this club and it was all apes. I'm like, what the fuck apes? And you know, this was very exciting connecting with the people. And I've never had such a cool people around before. I mean, I'm so excited. And this club probably is unique, very unique, and that probably impressed me the most. Right. So, it made me curious to understand all the people around me. It made me humble to their questions because there was a lot of questions. But it also gave me the opportunity to be a creator myself because, you know, working alone all the time. So, pretty much. How are you going forward, let's say, in the future, what are your goals now, how you are taking this forward? I'm very excited. I see different communities, of course, like artists, you know, driven community. And then there's musicians way of driven community. Yeah. I'm possibly probably part of the artists trajectory since I'm very much interested into arts and community. And definitely there are musicians who are my friends and family members. And of course, I learn a lot from tech communities since tech is probably the next big thing. Oh my god I was so blown away by what the board club community had probably achieved in such short time. And then I see more and more communities growing around so it's very interesting to connect to all of them and see their their journeys like all the milestones. Yeah definitely. And putting it where the money is you know the world is uncertain as always. There's a lot of possible challenges at your journey, especially connecting to multiple people. It's not always easy. Right. Yeah, true. And getting to hang out with different sorts of people is kind of exciting and challenging as well. You don't know what you're getting into either. But it sounds like a crazy, fun ride you know, and definitely it is a crazy fun ride. And yeah, connecting with so many people brings probably a lot of since I was playing tennis always, like I started playing tennis from the age of three something it brought probably the kid out of me again, that was more important to me. Oh my god, I loved that and always I felt passionate about playing tennis. And this probably brought my kid out of me, so… It was a perfect ride to see just so enthusiastic about the whole journey ahead of me and yeah it was amazing. Wow so it sounds like you're doing great and definitely sounds very exciting journey. We're so happy to have you here and share all these amazing stories. And I guess all of us had the same sort of revelation that you're talking about probably in the beginning because partly pandemic what period we're talking about you're also stuck home, isolated and then, of course, made the connection to world wide. So, I'm very proud of, to have shared my story with you and being here. So, it's very great really and we appreciate you being here. You know, it's always a lot of fun to share amazing stories. And that's what I think, definitely the NFT made the difference for all of us. Right, exactly. In the magnificent space. Absolutely, yeah. Thank you for being here. Yeah, likewise. Thank you. No problem. And, this sort of connection to world wide, it made the pandemic period kind of much more easier to cope with, hearing probably very connected with the globe. So, yeah. Certainly. And thanks for that. And yeah, thank you again. It was very challenging period but also very exciting to share this journey. Amazing and crazy period plus. Thank you. And till next time.
