Behind the Mic

Initial Greetings

Yo, yo, what's up? What's up? Yes, I can. Right? All right, perfect. Yes, I can hear you. All right, guys, well, we are about an hour away from what should be an exciting event. 30 minutes. Is it supposed to be right at ten? Well, that's the alleged statements that have been passed. Right? And you think it's gonna be a 1010? I. Yeah, I'll put my money on 1010. Why not? But Elon did say at 920. It's within the hour eastern, so should be 30 minutes, hopefully. Have you seen the pictures and videos of people so far? Yeah, I have. I've seen the pictures people have been posting. Yeah, they're cool. Yeah, they are. Yeah. It looks like it's just a big kind of party.

Event Details

You know, they have, like, food being served and tables and they built a little city. It looks like there are going to be demos tonight. Are they on the map that, like, Sawyer tweeted, Elon, quote, retweeted, I, quote, retweeted, Omar's from earlier, but, like, it says, pick up a drop off zones and stuff like that. So I don't know. No, yeah, I think that they're either navigating people through the lot, sort of, and kind of taking them through these different little pieces of the city, but that's what it looks like so far. It looks cool, it looks interesting. It looks like they kind of created a little theme park there to amuse people until the event. So, yeah, we'll see what they say in about 30 minutes.

Speculations for Announcements

We mentioned this earlier on today's space, but I think just initial speculation, two door cybercap. Some people are speculating potentially on maybe a cyber van also being announced. There's a pretty, I think, decent argument to be made that you need some kind of larger vehicle, like a two door. Small car sounds sexy. And they could probably make it cheaply. And I think that's what they're going for there. You know, in terms of two door. And four seats, you know, aren't necessarily, like the same thing. When you say two door, I think two seats. But if it's different, the way it. Was being presented was that it'd be one seat in the front and two seats in the back. But I don't know, I saw so many different, you know, the good old.

Upcoming Event Expectations

Third wheel strategy, like two couples being able to go out and hang out. Yeah, I don't know what the purpose with that for that would be, but, yeah, I saw some speculation about that. I mean, obviously, we'll find out here shortly, but, yeah, some people are speculating on maybe a van also being included. It seems like they're going to forego the quote unquote model two, which a lot of people speculated about for a long time. But, I mean, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. This is a very interesting point for this company, because they have an existing car business, right? And they have an existing car business that sells cars with steering wheels and pedals. And if this is some kind of complete rethinking of the automobile that's truly fully autonomous, that's going to be crazy revolutionary.

Market Expectations and Analysis

And I don't know how they're going to adjust their existing product suite to fit that. Yeah, this could be a crazy moment for the car industry. We'll see what they. Exactly what they reveal. Yeah, I am very much looking forward to it. It should be an interesting one. I feel like. Okay, I still. I understand. I think they did it at 10:00 because they were like, you know, 1010 event. It's got to be at 10:00 p.m. this is still a little too late. So I think I kind of want to go with a space, a little bit more chill vibes. I even think we can talk a little bit while it's going on because I know that you guys should probably find a way to live stream it so you can maybe see it. I think that would enhance your experience a little bit. I really wish that were talking a little bit. Stock talk.

Live Streaming Discussion

These spaces do have some video ability, but all it really is you, like, screen sharing your face. I wish they would allow you to screen share the actual event so we could just live stream it directly on here. But, I mean, we will play the audio, and if you guys want to follow along with the video, you know, it'd be crazy. I'll pin it at the top. I'm goNna. Yeah, I say we pin it at the top with the Tesla one. And, like, imagine a world where it just starts playing it. That would be sick. But I don't think that features, my. Hopes are way TOo high. Like, expectations are very high there. But I MEAN, no, look, it didn't show up in the correct WAY, but, yeah, based on the map, it does seem LiKE people are going to get some demos here.

Hints Towards Future Product Launches

I'm excited to hear any timeframes that might be on this. I'd imagine this is going to be like an hour event or something. It seems like they have a bunch of stuff coming. Elon said, tesla product unveil in less than an hour. He didn't say products. I don't know if there's anything to take away into that. I mean, I don't realLy. We're not at the point where I care too much to speculate. I'd be surprised if it's literally just a cyber cab. I mean, that would be surprising. What do you think it could be? Is it the kind of similar, different version of the model, too? No, I mean, it's. Yeah. I don't know.

Addressing the Future of Autonomous Vehicles

They. I would imagine they would have to do something in terms of the Optimus program. I mean, Elon just changed his profile picture to Wii robot as we're talking here. So, I mean, I don't know. I don't think it wouldn't be. It wouldn't make sense to me to call the event we robot and then, you know, introduce, not introduce either an updated version of Optimus or like, hey, this is what we've been doing. Because keep in mind, we haven't heard from the Optimus team in how many months has it been? I'm actually going to pull it up right now. What was the last event have been FSD day or something or whatever. The last one was called the second AI day.

Anticipation for Strategic Updates

Yeah. Like, since May was the last time, they gave us a meaningful update. I mean, they posted some, like, responses and stuff in June, but, like, in May they gave us a meaningful update of it, like, trying to put these cells in these storage packs, and it was like, you know, picking them up and putting them in these storage packs. But, I mean, it's been a long time since anybody's heard anything from the Optimus team. And, you know, you could argue that is an enormous, like, humanoid robotics is an enormous opportunity. We were talking about it on the spaces earlier today, but I think it's an enormous opportunity. I think people are going to become really normalized to the idea of, like, robots being everywhere very quickly. But, yeah, I mean, I think, you know, if something else sẽ be unveiled, I'd be surprised.

Reflection on Expectations and Market Dynamics

If not, I think the market would be surprised, too, if there wasn't something other than the cybercap. Well, okay, first of all, look at what Elon just retweeted. Quote, retweeted from Omar 32 minutes ago. It's a picture of the map. And on the last page, or one of the pages in there, it says, general admissions boarding group times, 08:00 p.m. to 830 is the first one. So I think that tells you this is going to be an hour, maybe 45 minutes. Give them 15 minutes in there, one of those two, and there is going to be rides. So I don't know. Yeah, I mean, they've kind of teased it. It's basically, I think they're just entertaining people until the actual, quote, unquote product unveil, as he called it.

Sound Check

How does it sound? It's a little low, but, I mean. Nothing's playing right now, is it? It's a little music, but. Banana, I just gotta say, your last tweet got me dime brides. I'd smoke one up too, and roll. Okay. I don't even know if this is loud enough to, like, register on my phone. It doesn't say it's talking to. Oh, well, we'll figure it. We'll cross that bridge. Hopefully once they start talking, it's louder. Try this. I don't think anything's on right now. You literally don't hear anything. I got it going. You guys want to do it for mine? It's going to change the way you think about Tesla. Oh, fuck. How are you ahead and, you know. Okay, I'll just put my phone on the desk. If something's wrong with mine, just mute mine, Evan, and then take over. Okay, yeah, we got you.

Technical Issues

I'm here. I'm back up. I appreciate you, Mandez. Tesla isn't just so mute. It's about pushing the. You're good. You're good. Keep going. Keep playing. And tonight I'm proud to announce that Tesla will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments for our vehicles. Oh, shit. Dodge coin. Thanks, guys. MSU calls Model S, Model X, model. Three, or the soon to be revealed model two. Pay with bitcoin, ethereum, and Dogecoin. And not only that, Tesla is real. I don't think this is real. This is so fake. I don't think this is real. Tesla, robotaxi. And paying directly with bitcoin. Hilarious. Banana. Oh, no. I knew he'd say dogecoin.

Market Reaction

Banana got caught. Somebody check if that thing spike. No. Banana. What do you call it? Here I am thinking, I'm the. I'm here. Like, I can't find it. I can't know it's happening. Dogecoin is spiking a little bit. Funny enough. It has not started. It's not started. There's a bunch of fake broadcasts. That's hilarious. I want banana to go Twitter. YouTube. Twitter. It's a savage place these days. Dogecoin with a small spike here. Actually, I was laughing sort of the background. Oh, my God. For a second I thought it was real, but I was like, what's happening here? Why can't he said he's accepting cryptocurrency? I started laughing. I knew it was fake right there. That's how he starts out for a robo taxi day.

Event Start Delay

Yeah, it has not started yet. Guys, I think Evan might be right. It might start at 1010 was the one I played. I was playing fake. Yeah, you're playing. They got my ass. Dude. Was about dogecoins. Literally. Wait a second. Yes, it did. It did. Dude, I have way too many I gotta do. Yeah. Hey, guys, our EPS crunch isn't bad enough as is. Let's start accepting dogecoin. All right. My bad for that. No, you're good, bro. You should light one up banana just for that one. Oh, my gosh. Oh, man. That last week got me dead, bro. Roll up to McDonald's too.

Viewer Engagement

It's interesting. They have 72,000 people watching on YouTube. About 214 view thousand views on Twitter. Evan, are you doing it off of the Twitter or are you doing it off of YouTube? I have both up and I want to see. Guys, guys, it's not complicated. Look at the pin tweet above. That's where the live. For this technical analyst. Go to the Tesla page. Go to the Tesla Twitter page. But is YouTube higher quality? Because if it is, I need to watch it. Yeah, but they have a link to YouTube on the Tesla Twitter page. Yeah, I have both up right now. I'm literally just gonna play from which ones first. And if it's not loud enough, we'll pivot from there.

Event Preparation

Yeah. Okay, so stock talk said pull up periscope. We're playing some interstellar music right now. Oh, yeah. I like the Twitter. YouTube. YouTube's 4K. Here we go, though. It's big time. So go, baby. I wonder if also like as who was talking earlier, Flacco was talking about and were saying, like, the. The first group of people for that they're kind of ride sharing thing or whatever is at 11:00 p.m. eastern. 08:00 p.m. pacific time. So. So that is what the maps for, right? I saw that map. Yeah, there was a pickup and drop off part. Ooh, something changed in a little. Maybe they're just.

Live Updates

Apparently a helicopter is right over their heads right now. Sawyer got, he's like, off in a different area. He didn't even get to go and see the thing. He is watching the live stream from the event. Look at Sawyer's page. That's unfortunate. The Robinhood overnight market. Tesla's up to a little spiker 243 50 right now. Yeah. Okay. Damn. Hella smoke at the Tesla Robotaxi and sick vibes. Tesla, Silicon Valley guy. Tesla owner, Silicon Valley. Sorry. I could have said that better. All right. It's like robot porn music or something. You guys. You guys could talk or whatever. I don't know if anyone has anything. It's. It's. It's late.

Cultural References

I don't want to, like, moderate. I mean, I'm kind of jamming out right now to this robot. Chillin'can. You guys hear it on my end? I bet you're jamming out on it. Yeah, we can. We can hear it, dude. Well, let's wait till the event to decide if your stream is good enough. Let me ask. Let me ask banana a quick question, if you don't mind. Price target. $500. When do you think that hits banana? 500? I didn't put a 500. 290? Yeah. Yeah. But then, let's say, kind of zooming out a little bit, right? What.

Technical Analysis

What do you think that's 2025 or 2026? Well, just the technician in me, if it broke out to 290, that would be a monthly breakout. It took about. I don't know. It's a six candles to go down from the last pivot of 270 to 200, when that happened to the downside. So I'd say in about seven to twelve candles, it would go to the measured move of a little over 400. So that's seven to twelve months out. I love you, daddy. I hope you love you too. Hope I'm right, too. Big brother is the g. That's all I know. It was a good ending there.

Countdown to Event

It's definitely gonna start at 1010. If it's the vibes, it fits the vibes. Unless Elon's still playing diablo. I mean, I do it to my viewers on YouTube. I don't know why they wouldn't do it to us. You know? I. Yeah, like the ten minute countdown. I'm like, yeah, a little five minute countdown. I do that to them every morning. Did you dance around, too? And what was that? That? The sweatshirt or whatever you wear, like a bunny or some. It was a picture.

Additional Humor

Donkey. The donkey? Yeah. Donkey. Dominic the bearish donkey? Yeah. You all know Dominic. He's very bearish for you. But not on Tesla. Not on Tesla, no. Even he wants Tesla. Only. Only when I'm double hand shorty under 200. That's the only time. All right, two minutes till 1010. Would have been funny if, like, neo did, like, a spite event at the same time. Well, I mean, like, AMD did an AI event today. Dell did one. HP. There was a lot of AI events today, so there were some spite ones. McDonald's did one.

Event Comparisons

McDonald's did have their little thing. It was funny. Amazon announced their, like, prime October day. You know, like, when. When Apple does an event like Huawei, like, all of a sudden comes out with nine. Nine page flipping phone. Well, literally Walmart. Yeah, true. Hey, the triple flip. Don't disrespect the triple flip. Things kind of sick, to be honest. I wish Apple had one. Huawei makes amazing phones. To be completely fair. Damn, it's so good.

Technical Issues Continuation

They can spy on me. The spying comes free. All right, Tenten's almost here. I mean, it's gotta be now. Like, this. This would be too on brand. Made me stay up for this. Not that I'd be going to bed by 1010, but I would be done working. Might be watching some Thursday night football. Kittle just scored a touchdown not too long ago. That's not bad. He did. Oh, nice. I got turned the game off. This shit was boring. Oh, oh, there's a countdown.

Event Timing Confusion

Ten. What's the score now? I have not seen. I have not seen the countdown yet, so you might be ahead of me. Unless this is another crypto stream. I was wrong on the 1010. It's looking like it's crazy minutes here. No way. That's crazy. Hey, la night club, fashionably late. The stream I have on the Tesla Twitter seems to be a few seconds ahead. Interesting. Okay. The only way I can tell it is by the visual.

Stream Delays

I can't. I can't. I don't think. All right, jokes on us. 1010 is now 1212. See you guys in two months. Imagine, imagine. I would actually be so sad if that happens. Tesla's going to 200. Yeah, Tesla's rocking really quick. You better sell some cover calls. You got. I got by the crypto thing. Before I was listening, I was like, oh, my God, my microstrategy. My MSTU is going to be flying tomorrow.

Stock Market Reactions

Let's go. damn it. The X feed has over 700,000 views. The problem is, like, they, like. That's not concurrent viewers. There's just people that have viewed. But yes, it is a lot. Yeah, no, that's. That's weird about x. They don't tell you, like, how many are currently live. How many total have joined? It's weird. They do it differently for spaces, buses. We have a lot of people in here.

Audience Engagement

Shout out 1600 of you waiting with us. No, it has not started yet. We got some music going on in the background. I bet you they get, like, really long playlists here just in case, you know, they know. Wonder what everyone's tweeting. Posting. Apparently there are two helicopters flying over right now. Got some crazy graphics going on here too. Aaron Rogers. Looks like we're looking at Darren Rogers. Inspired would be my guess.

Event Light Displays

What about Aaron Rogers? Nothing. Nothing, nothing. Evan took some. I was. Now I'm just here having to fill some time since we're 15 minutes. 13 minutes. Since when we're supposed to start. Wait, Emp's up here. Why did you show me? He's not up here? No, he's not. Emp, you should come up. What? Yeah, maybe I'll come up.

Platform Glitches

He's totally up here. Okay, but I can't see him up here. I can't see him either. Like, what the. Nevermind. Go Twitter. Honestly, it's just a part of our life, the way Twitter works now. Honestly, like, I've gotten so used to all the glitches, I know them all now. Like, oh, this happened. You gotta do this and that. Blah, blah. You did this?

Discussion on Issues

Like, when people get glitched on stage, it's literally just because they weren't in the map. What was the oak for? What happened? It looks like it's getting, oh, come on. No, nevermind. They faked me out with another visual. It looked like it was gonna be, like, a camera lens and actually start something. Well, there's 900,000 people. If you're watching this event right now on some shroomies.

Comparing Personal Experiences

Whoa. They're trying to screw with you, bro. Oh. All I have was some cough syrup and I'm deep in this thing. This is crazy. And now it's been freaking 30 minutes. The first time there's a microchip as a graphic. So I think something's changing. Yeah. Yeah, it seems like it's getting closer. Oh, never mind. It just went back into the kaleidoscope. I think we're just false.

Personal Observations

Wait, I'm so delayed, bro. What the hell? I'm gonna go microdose. Is that. Is that why you're always awake at 03:00 a.m., banana? That explains a lot. I wish I don't do drugs. I smoke some weed here and there. That's about it. Well, then that's fine. It's illegal where I live anyway, so it don't matter.

Current Time Context

It's now 715 on the west coast. It's now 1015 for me. I'm tired. Oh, now we got a skyline of something. Oh, shit, I got the. I can see those where those lights called from outside my house, those colorful lights. Yeah, I guess. I guess I can see them from my crib right now. Send a photo.

Anticipation Build-Up

Are they letting this anticipation build? There's. They're waiting to sell a few more tables. Hang on. Elon's Diablo game or whatever he plays probably is going a little long. Ran a little. Honestly, maybe not even a joke. If you're. If you're by your phone and check the. Check the picture.

Live Updates Continued

I saw this was overnight prices selling off. I saw some tweets about the northern lights thing, and I went to look. Not over my house. It's over my ear. A banana. I sent you a picture, too, from above my crib right now. Oh, that's wild. Yeah, it's right around my neighborhood. Wow, that's beautiful.

East Coast Phenomenon

Actually. I'm surprised, too. Usually I don't get up here on the east coast. Wow, this is taking a long time. They know. They got us. They know. Surprise. It's actually a new mixtape that you guys have just been listening to for the last 20 minutes. Installed directly in every Tesla you buy.

Promotion of New Features

This was actually a partnership with Spotify, and you just listened to it. Imagine crashing your Tesla. Like, when you're just, like, crashed, and this is, like, the music playing, plays. This music, it's popping, like, when Apple put you two on our phones back in the day. Yeah, exactly. That would be rough. While we're waiting, can somebody run me through a couple of bullet points that you guys talked about before I jumped on, since I jumped on late?

Event Expectations

Like, did you guys talk about, like, a robot speculation? What we're expecting from the event? Yeah. Like, what we expect them unveil. For me, personally, I think they're gonna build cyber cab. I think they're gonna show the app. I think they're gonna have something to do with Optimus. That's all I'm expecting. I'm not expecting a model to. I'm not expecting. I'm honestly not even expecting much detail, which I would like, but I'm not.

Cyber Cab Insights

Yeah, stock talk. When you say cybercap, are you thinking, like, a two seater? Three seater? Yeah. Yeah. Two doors. I was thinking that, like, two doors, just the bench. So three seats, so you could put a baby down or have, you know. One that was in Walter Isaacson's book. Oh, I got to see that. Yeah, it's just like, it looks like a. Think of.

Cyber Truck Speculation

Think of, like, I want to read that. Think of a mini cyber truck with two doors and two exposed wheels and no steering wheel and no pedals. Mm. Bro, there's so many cyber trucks in my area. There's a ton in Dallas now, too. I'd be interested, like, based on shy's tweet, I would be interested to see if they talk about something with the Tesla semi truck. That would be cool.

Automation Discussions

It's, like, automated for, like, moving, pulling in and out trailers at loading docks and stuff. Just that far. That would be a cool thing to see as well. Yeah, I've seen a couple from PepsiCo and stuff like that driving around up here. I expected more, to be honest. I haven't seen that many, though. Yeah, but I'm talking more about, like, an automation, like, where it would, like, move trailers in and out to get them loaded and then just have a driver take it, come and get in it out by the road just to fly.

Commercial Automation

I was thinking something similar along that lines where they can show the app, let's call it the Uber Killer app, even though I don't think they'll kill Ubere, but that's another conversation. But something on the retail side and then, like, what you're saying, the commercial side, so you can show, like, a grocery store can basically robo taxi a $200,000 grocery order and get it. Get it.

Future Prospects

Kind of like that chinese automated AI port system going on. Commercial trucking, similar to what you said. I think that would be actually a big deal if they show something like that. To your point, that's what I'm thinking. Banana. I'm thinking they can turn this from a ground rule double to a home run if they hit some type of commercial side, like you just something. Something enterprise as well.

Opportunities for Automated Systems

Yeah, I mean, Bloomberg's. Bloomberg released the list of leaks, and that was in it, so we'll see. But they said there's going to be something with a semi truck. So it could be that. I know how detailed they're going to be, but, yeah, I mean, look, the semi truck program is a multi billion dollar opportunity. The dip. The thing is, with tesla, with me, like, personally, I'm not BuLliSH on the stock because I think they're going to sell more cars.

Financial Perspectives

I'm bullish on the stocks. I think the software opportunity is enormous. I think the humanoid robotics opportunity is enormous. And so I hope that there's emphasis on those things. But I don't know. I mean, typical TesLA events to me have been underwhelming on detail. That's like the number one criticism I make after each event. I think you're so spot on. I want to know when you expect these things to be done.

Detailed Queries

I want to know what the monetization effort is going to look like. I want to know what you're thinking about in terms of pricing. I want to know if there's partnerships on the tAble. Like, that's the stuff I like to know. But very often it's just like, hey, look at this cool thing. Tada. You know, which I guess is enough for some people. But yeah, if they show monetization, there's math.

Revenue Models

If they can show from the software side, you can make more. Because they make. Every car maker, including them, makes x amount of thousands of dollars per car. It's not the greatest fucking business in the world. Okay? But if you can start to exponentially keep making money off same car, nobody has that. That is a, that is a complete game changer. They literally don't have to sell more cars to make more money.

Future Insights

And that's where the math gets real quanky for a lot of people.

Understanding Vehicle Autonomy Potential

But it is 100% there. And if they can break that out to people, and I've run it, I've done the model, if they could just show the layman how that would work, because there's x amount of hours, you just extrapolate for x amount of dollars and cars sitting idle, if you just take a fraction of that, if you take a conservative fraction of all the cars sitting in all the parking lots in our driveways doing fucking nothing for 90% of the days, for 90% of the weeks, the numbers start to get breathtaking. And if they can just show a little bit of detail, like stock talk said, it'll allow. What do we need? We need analysts to be able to model things into their Excel spreadsheets, take earning revisions up, and at least have an Adam Jonas that can give you some kind of three to five year trajectory. Yeah, that's the goal. We have some real details behind the numbers, like stock talk said. Yeah, no, that's the goal.

The Transition from Robo-Taxi to Broader Opportunities

The goal is to communicate this in a way that is digestible to analysts. That's it. You know, and that can be done in any number of ways. But to me, the massively underrated thing that people don't realize when they think about vehicle autonomy is very often, people get trapped in a robo taxi. And I'll emphasize the phrase taxi in that, because people get caught in this loop of, like, okay, when a vehicle has been fully, you know, is fully autonomous, all it means is that, oop, you know, you're going to take away. You're going to tackle. Tackle what Uber does, and you're going to give people, you know, consumers rides downtown or to work or to a restaurant they want to go to. What people don't realize is, once you've solved autonomy, that is applicable to every form of transport, ground transportation. Yes. Now you can. Now. Now buses are autonomous. Now construction vehicles are autonomous. Now, you know, every vehicle becomes autonomous by virtue of solving full autonomy.

The Importance of Autonomous Vehicle Technology

So that's the huge difference in the opportunity here is, like, that's. It could be the biggest software opportunity that we've ever seen. You know, and you combine that with humanoid robotics. And Elon has said this before, but they expect that FSD, when it's solved, will be able to be applied to a humanoid robot. In other words, that robot can navigate autonomously to Evan, is it right? No. Elon tweeted that a person in the crowd had a medical emergency, so we're taking care of them before starting. And I know Omar's been tweeting in Tesla, Silicon owner, Silicon Valley as well, but Elon did just comment that 49 seconds ago. Okay, well, there you go. That's the reason for the delay. But, yeah, no, look, these are. Sorry. I begged my mom not to go to the event. Oh, my God, don't say that. Banana.

Real Opportunities Beyond Vehicle Sales

But, yeah, no, the real opportunities here are full self driving, fully autonomous driving, and the humanoid robotics program. Those are the real opportunities. In my view, you can incrementally sell more and more vehicles, but Tesla is never going to return to a 50% CAGR on vehicle growth. I think we can all safely say that. You'd have to be batshit crazy to think that Tesla's going to start growing unit sales on vehicles at a 50% clip again. That's never going to happen again. That was the story pre 2021. And now that's no longer the story, you got to find a new story. And I think this event, Tesla and Elon's attempt to do that, to shift the narrative, to tell the street and retail investors alike. Hey, look, we get it. The vehicle business isn't going to grow to 50% CAGR anymore, but this will. And, you know, that's. That. That's what they have to communicate today, in my opinion.

The Link Between Autonomy and AI

No, I think you're beyond spot on from the couple points we discussed. But on top of it, there was this essay I wrote a long, a little while back saying, I know it's going to sound crazy, and I got a lot of heat for it then. And I, and I caveated it. I go, this is not something they're going to do. There's still a lot of ways to make money off this, but the biggest money is not in making cars. I was like, they shouldn't even make cars. They should do the licensing, the software and the autonomy, because anybody who knows technology on the level that stock talk obviously does, autonomy is going to be the biggest business for all those variations that he listed. But the truth is the simplistic view. When you have robots, when you have AI, when you have things, entities, intelligence, that isn't humans, when we are the ones who've built the society around us, able to function autonomously around it, they can do all the businesses we do. That's why it's the biggest business.

Future Visions and Mindsets

That's just the simple way. Like, that's how the light bulb goes off and everybody's head like, oh, now I get a banana. All the businesses can be done by this business. That's why it's the biggest business. And that's the link. I've been like trying to find this analogy for months. I've been working on it. I'm going to put it in assessee, but you guys get early. But that's the link. That's the stock talk link that he's talking about. That's why I keep saying it's the biggest business. That's why you guys see me buying mobile. I, like an idiot, hand over fist because there'll be other players. There has to be a Scottie Pippen to the Michael Jordan. And it's going to be a big business. And if it's going to be as big a business as I think, other players will thrive as well.

The Real Money in AI Applications

Yeah, yeah. And I think the overarching point here is really that, you know, people think about AI. A lot of people just think immediately of OpenAI because the industry leading company, but they don't make any money. You know, they make a couple billion dollars a year in revenue. They spend more than that renting compute. So it's a loss making company that's making very little money on the top line anyways. And I had this, somebody asked me this question months ago when were talking about this one of our spaces and they were like, well, OpenAI is the industry leader and AI is the biggest theme that we've seen in the last ten years. So why? How are they not making money? And the answer is simple, because they're selling an LLM. And never in the entirety of this released did anyone think that selling a $20 a month subscription to a premium Internet platform was going to make hundreds of billions of dollars.

Shifting Focus on AI's Endgame

The math doesn't even make sense. So this was never the end game. What people fail to realize is the AI endgame is real world applications. That's where the real money is going to be made. That's where the enterprise clients who pay 500 grand a month for subscription, that's where the real money is going to be made. Not from users paying $20 a month because they want to do their homework faster. That's just never been the use case. And I think short sighted people fail to realize that. And they're like, oh, LLMs. Who is the best LLM? Who's going to build the best LLM? In the modern rendition, LLMs are just glorified search engines that are, you know, they're great. I use them every day. I use chat, GPT every single day. I'm not. I'm not knocking the product, it's a fantastic product.

Elon's Vision and Focus

But what I'm saying is that's not the end game, and Elon knows that. That's why Elon, for years before this chat dvd craze, was working on real world AI applications like full self driving, and now the autonomous humanoid robot, because that's where the money's going to be made. The money's going to be made selling real world products that have value to enterprise but can also have value to the consumer. Like consumers will buy humanoid robots when they're available. So that's the end game here. LLMs are not the end game. And that's what people fail to realize. Why do you think opening eye just raised it? $157 billion valuation, making $3.7 billion a year, burning six, going to burn 14 by 2026. What? What? And all these guys are idiots.

Investment in Future AI Applications

Microsoft, Nvidia, they're all lining up. They're all dumbasses. They're like, fuck it, I just want to burn a couple billion dollars for funsies. No, they know that LLMs are not the end game. They know that somewhere down the world there's gonna be a real world AI application that has hundreds of billions of dollars, if not trillions of dollars of earnings, power. And that's what they're throwing their chips in the middle for. You know, people a lot of times, people don't think through the logical decision maker process, which is just like, analyze every party in a scenario and walk yourself through their incentives as a logical decision maker. And more often than not, you'll be like, okay, that's what they're betting on. That could be the only thing they're betting on.

Elon's Strategy for Tesla's Future

The. And I think Elon knows that, and I think that's where Tesla has a sweet spot for upside, is if they solve some of those real world applications, whether it's humanoid robots or FSD or both, before the rest of the industry does. So, yeah, okay, that's my rant. Is the event still not started? It still has not started, but Omar did say that the medical team is now clearing out there, so it seems like it might be starting out soon. Elon's firing off tweets right and left right now. I mean, he's not. He's not on stage. Omar, your reporter on the ground. There'S a lot of people at this one. Sawyer just tweeted out, elon's about to go on.

Preparing for the Anticipated Event

He posted a picture. I don't see anything in this picture, but, I mean, he wouldn't have posted if it wasn't relevant. Maybe he's, like, behind the thing, but it seems like it's just about a start right now. I'm still curious how everyone is feeling for it down below. Throw it in the. In the spaces chat. One or two words. How you're feeling, maybe what you think Tesla will open trading at tomorrow. It is currently at 24299, so up 1.8% in the overnight trading. Basically $243. So, yeah, if you're enjoying the space, you can follow the speakers, people that you enjoy, and think, make it good. You could also send hate mail to the people you think sound stupid.

Upcoming Tesla Developments

It's okay. I'll take the engagement. Hey, so one thing I want to throw in here while we have a couple minutes. I think something related to the next gen platform is, I think, kind of a curveball that I think a lot of people forgot about in Q one, the earnings report. They said these new vehicles, including more affordable models, will use aspects of the next generation platform as well aspects of our current platform, and we'll be able to produce on the same manufacturing lines as our current vehicle lineup. And they said this would happen late this year or early 2025. So they have to introduce something related to next gen platform, right?

Discussion on Next Generation Platform

Or at least, yeah, I mean, I would imagine they will be. I mean, I don't know what their plan is to be honest, I don't know if the next gen platform is going to just be like, hey, we're converting all vehicles to the next gen platform. Boom, done. Are you referring to the model, too? Well, what I'm thinking is that the way that they can tie it in is that if the next gen platform is something, that's the compact card, the cybercab, and the new affordable models, which would basically be the base models of existing lineup, all of those would be part of a single platform. Okay. Okay. You think they're going to build, like, a modular platform?

Deciding the Future of Tesla's Lineup

I don't know if it's modular per se, because I think the unbox method is more like a methodology in how the vehicle is produced and put together. But I think, broadly speaking, I think they're going to need to, you know, craft that into the story. So these affordable models should be coming out pretty soon. I mean, I would be kind of shocked if they're not for pre sale in the next month or something because of the timelines they gave in. Q one. So you do think a more affordable general purpose vehicle is coming with a steering wheel? So I think that there were multiple vehicles that were mentioned.

New Vehicles and Market Trends

Right. So it alluded to these new vehicles, including the affordable models, which are going to be the base models, like, basically the model three model. Yeah, but a more kind of trimmed down version that's more affordable. So that'll be part of it. And then also, you have separately, the compact car, which is that model two concept of, like, the cheaper 25k range car. Franz, if you guys remember on the Isaacson book, he told Elon and made this whole presentation about how the cybercab and the compact cardinal can be built on the same line. And they said that in order for Tesla to grow at a 50% kegger, they need to go into the 700 million vehicle tam of the 25k vehicle.

Potential for Growth and Future Releases

So that was during the conversation of, like, trying to convince Elon to do the compact car and the robotaxi. Interesting. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I don't think they're going to reveal anything in the core lineup. There's a possible chance. I think that would be pretty material to the stock price right now in the short term. I don't think we're expecting that. Yeah, I don't think anyone's expecting. I mean, and you know what? I also stock talk. I think that gives them some cover to be like, okay, here's what we're doing now, and here's what our kind of.

Evaluating Progress Towards Future Goals

Where everything is going, it kind of makes that easier to sell if you have, though. Okay, here's the. Right now. Here's the growth, but here's where this is ultimately going. I think that ultimately going is sold a little bit easier, but I don't know. I don't know what's happening here. Yeah, I mean, I don't think that they're going to release or unveil anything about the compact car, but I think given the timelines they gave. Right. Because they said, end of this year or early next year, they start production.

Looking Ahead to Tesla's Future Plans

That was the whole thing about the Q one earnings report that blew up the stock. They were like, they're ahead of schedule, so they have to. They have to. That's, like, basically a month or two from now. So it's got to come out, you know, sometime. And unless they're going to do a separate event for. For the next gen models, I could see it, like, maybe there's, like, a, you know, 10% chance, I would say. Yeah, I know. I mean, anything's possible. I mean, I'm. I would be pleasantly surprised by anything.

The Anticipation Builds

I mean, I hope there's something about Optimus. There may not be anything about Optimus, you know? So. Yeah, I mean, it's anyone's guess that Elon did post this little picture of these movie posters they have. They said, drivers. Where we're going, we don't need drivers. He said, it is afraid. It is totally alone. It's 6900. Okay. He posted some pictures. You know, I think these are references to movies. If you didn't get it, I. I know they are.

Engaging with the Audience

Okay. That's why I said movie posters. Yes, good. It's in the title as well. Of course. We wrote. You were talking, though. Made it very feel like you had no idea. It was just like, dude, I mean, I'm not an idiot. I can see the poster. Sometimes I question it, you know? Okay, all right. I see those movies. I'm an old man, remember? That is true. How was your 45th birthday? I know it was last week.

Light-Hearted Banter and Anticipation

Not that old, buddy. So 42. 42. Should have an optimistic. Sometimes when I talk 40 voice. Dude, this music is the selfish part of. Me wants them to. I want him to come out with. Coming out, driving one of the taxis, ripping optimus in half. I thought were not supposed to have any drivers. He could be in the. He could be in the back of one of the taxis.

Discussion of Celebrity Presence

Yeah, well, no, you don't put him in the back. Passenger. He gets out, and then it keeps driving. Passenger. Somebody tell Gordon Johnson to stop fake fainting in the crowd? Are they not going to have any celebrities here? I mean, it's in Hollywood, bro. Isn't he the isn't, is it. Isn't he the perma bear? Is he the perma bull? I'm confused. Which one is he? Wait, who? Gordon Johnson.

Gordon Johnson and Event Dynamics

Gordon Johnson is a perma bear, dude. He's. He snuck into the event and pulled a fire alarm. Gordon Johnson? Yeah. I would love to see them release where I could buy a Tesla, sit at my house, send it out to work for me, make money while I'm sitting at home, pick my kids up, basketball practice or whatever, school, stuff like that. That's what I really want to see Tesla do. That's going to be some freaky shit when that day comes around where you're just doing that on a daily basis and that's a regular part of your life.

Vision for the Future of Transportation

You might imagine why you're. While you're streaming, I could just. Yeah, like, when I'm. While you're streaming, Jordan, my kids, you can send your Tesla to go do uber, quote unquote uber for you while you're just sitting there streaming, working throughout the day. It's generating revenue for you. And then the next step beyond that, when your kids are, you know, 1214 years old, they have sports practice every other night of the week. You send the car to go pick them.

Leveraging Technology for Everyday Life

Jordan, let me. Let me break it down to you like this. Imagine you got yourself a robo taxi in the garage, and you got yourself an optimist robot as the homie. All right? Your optimist robot homie signs up for Doordash. You send them out to go Doordash for you. And, okay, and the robots doordashing with your robo taxi. Ba bang, ba bing, ba bong, bro. Just imagine. Imagine if the Optimus is hot, if they have like, a hot version.

Broader Implications of Robotics

Bananas gonna have a fleet of them. Dude, I'll take two. Yeah, yeah. Banana's gonna have a whole fucking garage full of them. Banana's gonna wake up in the morning, turn on twelve optimuses. He's gonna have twelve g wagons in the front. They're gonna hop. You know, there was a spike in Doordash stock with some linkage to rumor, but I would not be shocked if you see a robot come out and literally work the app. And imagine a robot doing the work of one of the gig economies for you, making money as your robo taxi makes monies.

Creating a Vision for the Future

That's. I think they want to paint a vision that they know, like what stock talk was saying earlier. If there's a way that they could show you a vision where this is, like, monetizable for young people that they can see, like, oh, there's like, that's the, like, five jobs I do in the gig economy. The robot, and the robot taxi's doing right there, and that becomes, like, a link right there for the modern world. And if they make that linkage and show some details, like stocktalk talked about, and then maybe some of the mathematic that I talked about, talking about hours in idle hours drive and showing the math behind that, man, it could be a blowout event.

High Hopes for Tomorrow's Presentation

Yeah. I mean, I would love to see some interaction between Optimus and the car. That would be dope, and I think that would create a lot of hype. I think that's coming tonight. I think that's what's special tonight. Even if it's something as simple as Optimus walking up to the car or, like, or, like, somebody saying to optimist, like, hey, go get groceries for me. And then Optimus walking up to the car and getting in the back and the car driving and what, like, something like that would be sick and would speak to a lot of, like, that. That's.

Explaining the Potential and Vision

That's something where analyst can see that and be like, okay, I get how this is monetizable, you know? And that's the goal here. I mean, Elon is very good at communicating, I think, to, investors. He's good at communicating. He's good at communicating a vision. But, you know, if there's detail accompanying that vision, then you can, you know, you can create some. Some appetite. But I'm just, like, praying for detail.

Wishing for a Prompt Start

I just want this thing to start. Yeah, I know. I'm literally getting tired of this music. I'm tired. I'm just tired. Yeah. I keep looking at Elon. He's. He's just keeps responding to, like, random. Tweets and not talk politics and stuff like that. This guy. Oh, cathy wood in the crowd. Yeah, he just responded to a political. A political one. We got PPI tomorrow morning. Come on. I have to be up early.

Preparing for Early Morning Earnings

Bank earnings. I might be up at 06:00 a.m. now you got me here doing this. Bro. Watching that stream is, like, making my eyes freak. Make me sleepy. Shit, man, I'm getting old. Not as old as stock talk. Oh, man. As long as this presentation isn't political, I can live with all the tweets. Imagine. I don't think it will be, but if it ever starts, want a robot.

Balancing Humor with Future Technology

Coming out eating dog. You're fixing elections. You're a robot in next election cycle will be controlling it. No more mail in elections. No, the robot will do it. Bang. Bro, that commercial would break the Internet. That's the pitch that's coming tonight. If you get a robot, can it vote without id? All right. Shout out to the 2000 people still in here waiting. Good thing is we're all traders or investors.

Acknowledging Shared Experiences

We all wake up at the same time no matter what time zone we're in. Yeah, too early. I don't want to hear you're back on the east coast. Yeah, no, I know. It's actually not that bad. Tomorrow I might have to get up early. I know because I know. Jpmorgan 06:00 a.m. the earnings calls at 830 though, so I want to hear what Jaime has to say. Blackrock reports tomorrow. I can get like my blackrock runs of the world clickbait tweet ready.

Maintaining Fun Amidst Waiting

I mean, Elon is chilling right now on Twitter. So yeah, we just going tweeting out politics, doing his thing, jokes on the guys who are there now. They've been standing for 45 minutes while we're all just hanging out. I would say at least I have the football game on, but that's shitty too. I honestly didn't even put 1 second of the football game on. I didn't think of it, bro. It is garbage.

Enduring Attitudes Towards Teams

But they hate the Yankees are. I'm watching Yankees up three one so they could go up three one in that series. Guardians one. It's two five. I thought it was a five game series. Win it. Yeah. Oh, shit, I forgot. Dumbass. It's late. It's crazy. The northern lights are out by you. Yeah, it is, bro. It's amazing out here. I'm surprised you're not that far from me.

Observations on Global EV Markets

How do you not see. I was a little upset. Too much light pollution, probably too much train pollution. At this rate, BYD is going to come out with their own robo taxi event. You say that BYD, I see those things everywhere down here. Like every day. I see more and more of those things. They are super popular and they're actually really nice, bro. I know.

Insights on BYD's Popularity

I saw so many. Malaysia, Vietnam. They were flying around, bro. They're everywhere but us. Because they're taking over. I mean, you seen their Porsche copy, right? They literally copied the Porsche one. Even the color scheme. Yeah. So it's funny seeing a chinese vehicle in Mexico and it says, build your dreams on the back in English.

Casual Banter During Waiting Time

Okay, game over, yankees. Moving on. Hey, Evan, will you imagine a Yankees versus mets? It'd be cool as long as my team wins, you know? Bro, New York. Yeah, I thought I'd be going to. Bed tonight, bro, New York would go. Shooting the shit, waiting for this event to start. Sorry, guys in the audience, I can't control that.

Humorous Acknowledgments

So, guys and girls, I'm gonna need a robot. Just. Yeah, dude, I'm. At that point, I'm tired. I'm tired. I'm just tired. Yeah. I keep looking at Elon. He's. He's just keeps responding to, like, random. Tweets and not talk politics and stuff like that. This guy. Oh, cathy wood in the crowd.

Twitter Engagements

Yeah, he just responded to a political. A political one. We got PPI tomorrow morning. Come on. I have to be up early. Bank earnings. I might be up at 06:00 a.m. now you got me here doing this. Bro. Watching that stream is, like, making my eyes freak. Make me sleepy. Shit, man, I'm getting old.

Reflection on Age and Timing

Not as old as stock talk. Oh, man. As long as this presentation isn't political, I can live with all the tweets. Imagine. I don't think it will be, but if it ever starts, want a robot. Coming out eating dog. You're fixing elections. You're a robot in next election cycle will be controlling it.

Humor in Speculation

No more mail in elections. No, the robot will do it. Bang. Bro, that commercial would break the Internet. That's the pitch that's coming tonight. If you get a robot, can it vote without id? All right. Shout out to the 2000 people still in here waiting. Good thing is we're all traders or investors.

Acknowledging the Investors in Attendance

Final Thoughts on the Day's Events

All right. Shout out to the 2000 people still in here waiting. Good thing is we're all traders or investors. We all wake up at the same time no matter what time zone we're in. Yeah, too early. I don't want to hear you're back on the east coast.

Thoughts on Rest and Health

I want to lay down. I enjoy spaces. Not as much at 10:50 p.m., though. I love you all, dude. I hibernate once a week. Friday night. I sleep in Saturday, like, as long as I want, and then I just don't get much sleep during the week. That's the way I operate. Sounds healthy. It's fucking incredibly healthy.

Weather Discussion

So how about the weather? Weather's actually great in Dallas. It got a little chilly here. I kind of like it, though. How's the weather? Everybody else is. Yeah. No one wants to talk about the weather. I'm excited, dude. I'm going down to. I'm excited. Any other speculations of what might be revealed? I guess we can go back to that topic. The end of the world. I don't know, bro. I might have tried so hard to stay awake.

Time Zone and Sleep Considerations

Yeah, I was gonna. I was still there. Shop shy's west coast, too, so no excuses. It's 750 for him. Yeah, I do wake up at 03:30 a.m., my time. That's. That's the caveat. Sorry. I'm on the phone with mobile. I helping them with a robo taxi event. We could beat Elon to the punch right now. But that under real question. I've got a disclaimer on. Your couple seconds ahead of me, but I do have it as well. How much more shares you got to buy to be a board owner of mobile life? I'll keep going till. Are you all going to play it out loud?

Tech Event Expectations

Yeah, I got it. There it is. I hear it. Ladies and gentlemen, here everywhere online has sound. I'm Franz, and on behalf of everybody at Tesla, welcome to we robot just want to thank Warner Brothers for hosting us here. As you know, this is the birthplace. Of many epic films, many of them. Depicting a vision of the future. We're here tonight to experience that future that is closer than you think. And who better than Elon, right, to show us that future? So it looks like Elon's on his way, so let's welcome him up here.

Excitement for New Technologies

Yeah. And there is the robo taxi. I think Elon's walking out with an optimist, too. Maybe, maybe not. I don't think so. Actually. There are the fountain doors or the butterfly doors. Whatever it is, it looks like a. Cyber truck in a 350 z. Exactly. Where's this guy's neck talk? Both wheels exposed. Unlike what we saw in the illustration. Both wheels exposed. There we go. We got Elon walking up to the stage. Now just start speaking. Here we go.

Event Highlights

Welcome. Welcome to the Wii robot party. We have quite a show for you tonight. I think you're gonna like it. As you can see, I just arrived in robo taxi, the cybercab, and there's 20 more where that came from. So they've been traveling. They're all, there's no people in them. As you can see, the car's just going by with no people. We have. We have 50 fully autonomous cars here tonight. So you'll see model Y's and the cyber cab, all driverless. You'll be able to take a ride in the cyber cab. There's no steering wheel or pedals.

Vision for the Future

So I hope this goes well. We'll find out. So, so you see a lot of Sci-Fi movies where the future is dark, dismal, where it's not a future you want to be in. So, you know, like, I love Blade runner, but I don't know if we want that future. I think we want that Duster he's wearing, but not the bleak apocalypse. We want to have a fun, exciting future that if you could look in a crystal ball and see the future, you'd be like, yes, I wish I could be there now. That's what we want.

Transportation Challenges

So when we think about transport today, there's a lot of the kind of pain that we take for granted that we think is normal. Like, having to drive around LA in, like, 3 hours of traffic. Yeah. People that live in LA, I mean, you know, trying to get from Pasadena to, you know, al Segundo during rush hour is like, you can fly to. And can you play for city for a minute or two? Actually cross down LA. So. And you have to drive the whole way unless you're in a Tesla.

Transformation of Urban Space

Of course. Tesla already does quite well at this. You know, self driving. Supervised full self. Full self driving is actually working quite well. Okay, I want to post it. Some ideas, people in the crowd. You're using that? Yeah. So we'll move from supervised full self driving to unsupervised full self copy. Wherever the car, you could fall asleep and wake up at your destination. So. But there's also a challenge for a lot of people that cars cost too much.

Cost of Car Ownership

I mean, when you factor in everything that goes into a car and the car insurance, the car payments and the storage of the car, it's very expensive. So with, you say, like, how often are what, how many hours a week are cars used? Your average passenger car is only used about 10 hours a week out of 168 hours. So the vast majority of the time, cars are just doing nothing. But if they're autonomous, they could be used, I don't know, five times more, maybe ten times more.

The Value of Autonomous Cars

So you could actually, for the same cardinal, would have five times as much value, maybe ten times as much value. There's 168 hours in the week, and like I said, only ten of them are used for driving. And then a bunch of those hours are looking for a parking spot, which can be pretty annoying at times. So with autonomy, you get your time back. This is a very big deal. So it's not just. It'll save lives, like, a lot of lives, and prevent injuries.

Future Safety with Autonomous Vehicles

I think we'll see autonomous cars become ten times safer than a human. I mean, if you think of times past where there were. There used to be an elevator operator in every elevator, but once in a while, they get, you know, they get tired and accidentally show somebody in half, you know, that people spend in a cardinal and the time that they will get back, that they can now spend, well, I guess, on their phones or watching a movie or doing work or whatever you want to do, you can think of the car in the autonomous world as being, like, just a little lounge.

Living in a Comfortable Future

You're just sitting in a comfortable little lounge, and you can do whatever you want while you're in this comfortable little lounge. And when you get out, you will be at your destination. So, yeah, it's gonna be awesome. So. So, in fact, we. I think the cost of autonomous transport will be so low that you can think of it like individualized mass transit. The average cost of a bus per mile for a city, not the ticket price, because that is subsidized, but the average price is about a dollar a mile, whereas cost of cybercap we think probably over time, the operating cost is probably going to be around twenty cents a mile, and price, including taxes and everything else, probably ends up being 30 or forty cents a mile.

Affordable Future Technologies

So. Yes. And you will be able to buy one? Yes, exactly. And we expect the cost to below $30,000. And I think there'll be an interesting business model where, like, let's say somebody isn't a Lyft driver today, where they can actually sort of manage a fleet of cars and, like, sort of manage, I don't know, 1020 cars and just sort of take care of them. Like a shepherd tends their flock. You have a little flock of cars and you're the shepherd and you take care of your flock of cars.

Envisioning the Future of Mobility

I think that'd be pretty cool. Bingo. And I think it's going to be. It's going to be a glorious future. It's going to be really something special. So overnight markets at least moving higher? Yes. Good. All excellent questions. So we do expect, actually to start fully autonomous, unsupervised FSD in Texas and California next year, and that's with the model three and model Ydez.

Production Timelines

And then we expect to be in production with the cybercap, which is really highly optimized for autonomous transport in probably. Well, I tend to be a little optimistic with timeframes, but in 2026, so. Yeah, before 2027, let me put it. That way. And we'll make this vehicle in very high volume. But well, before that, you'll experience a robotic taxi via the model three and model Y program and model SNX, too.

Regulatory Approval and Expansion

But the model three NY will achieve unsupervised full stop driving with permission, in wherever regulators essentially approve it in the US, and then to follow in outside the US. So. And it's Cybertruck, too. Yes, of course. Sorry, I don't want to be gets. Yes, yes. All our cars are basically all cars that we make, so let's not get nuanced here.

Advancements in AI and Safety

All right, next slide. So one of the reasons why the computer can be so much better than a person is that we have millions of cars that are training on driving. So it's like living millions of lives simultaneously and seeing very unusual situations that a person in their entire lifetime would not see. But hopefully. Yeah, exactly. So with that amount of training data, it's obviously going to be much better than what a human could because you can't live a million lives.

AI Vision Capabilities

And it's also, it can see in all directions simultaneously and it doesn't get tired or text or any of those things. So it will naturally be, like I said, 10, 20, 30 times safer than a human, just for all those reasons. And I want to emphasize that the solution that we have is AI and vision, so there's no expensive equipment needed. The model three and Model Y and SNX that we make today will be capable of full autonomy, unsupervised.

Ensuring Affordable Vehicle Production

And that means that our cost of producing the vehicle is low. Now, we are going to actually overspec the computer for the cybercab. So our AI five computer will be somewhat overspecced because I think there's actually also an opportunity, sort of like an Amazon Web services, where I. If the car is driving for 50 hours a week, there's still over 100 hours left and there's a potential there to have a massive amount of distributed inference compute, where if you've got like, say, a fleet of 100 million vehicles and a kilowatt of efficient inference compute, you have 100 gigawatts of compute, which is really quite substantial.

Innovation in Vehicle Technology

If it's there, you might as well use it. So, yeah, so that's. Then I think he's talking about making all the cars. Amazon Web services. I had to interrupt people. This goes over everybody's heads. Imagine every car being a server. Amazon Web services will be like in the future. And when you get in, you'll see like, it's really quite a wild experience to just be in a cardinal with no steering wheel, no pedals, no controls, and it feels great.

Experiential Demonstration

So we have enough vehicles here, so everyone should be able to try it out and experience the set that we've built here. It's a very big set. So it's like, really. We've used, I don't know, 2030 acres or something like that. It's really big. So it goes on, the ride's long and we set it up to feel like a ride park ride. So it'll be.

Smooth Induction Charging

It'll be cool. Little lag someone might have to pick up. Just at 251, it's up over 5% overnight trading. My thing's still buffering and you'll get. To experience it tonight. It goes over the inductive charger and charges. So, yeah, it's kind of how it should be. Thanks. Like an auto cleaner.

Impact on Urban Development

So one of the things that like, is really interesting is how will this affect the cities that we live in? And when you drive around a city, or when the car drives you around a city, you'll see this. Like, there's a lot of parking lots. There's parking lots everywhere. Parking garages. There are. And so what would happen if you have an autonomous world is that you can now turn parking lots into parks.

Opportunities for Urban Green Spaces

And so from. We're taking the inglot out of parking lot. Welcome. So there's a lot of opportunities to create. I don't even know what's happening. Green space in the cities that we live in. Whoa. Oh, yeah. That's something different. Looks like a trolley. So that would be quite fantastic. Oh, and also, what happens if you need a vehicle that is bigger than a model y?

Robovan Concept Introduction

We just got the robo van. Four of my predictions have come true. The reboban. The reboban is this is. We're going to make this and it's going to look like that. Now, can you imagine going down the streets and you see this coming towards you? That beast. Sick. So this can carry up to 20 people and it can also transport goods, so you can configure it for goods transport within a city or transport of up to 20 people at a time.

Future Transport Solutions

So this is gonna. The reboven is what's gonna solve for high density. So if you want to take a sports team somewhere or you're looking to really get the cost of travel down to, I don't know, 510 cents a mile, then you can use the Revovan. Some people call it the Robovan, but. So, yeah, one of the things we want to do, and we've seen this with the cybertruck, is we want to change the.

Changing the Aesthetics of Vehicles

The look of the roads. The future should look like the future. So, speaking of robots, so everything we've developed, our cars, the batteries, power electronics, the advanced motors, gearboxes, the software, the AI inference computer, it all actually applies to a humanoid robot. It's the same techniques. It's just a robot with arms and legs instead of a robot with wheels.

Progress in Robotic Developments

And we've made a lot of progress with Optimus, and as you can see, we started up with someone in a robot suit, sort of dad, and then we've progressed dramatically, year after year. So if you extrapolate this, you're really going to have something spectacular, something that anyone could own. So you can have your own personal r po.

Affordable Domestic Robotics

And I think at scale, the. This would cost something like, I don't know, 20, $30,000, probably less. Less than a car, is my prediction. Long term. You know, take us a minute to get to the long term, but fundamentally, at scale, the octopus robot, you should be able to buy an octopus for, I think, probably $20 to $30,000 long term.

Capabilities of Future Robots

And what can it do? It'll basically do anything you want. So it can be a teacher or babysit your kids, it can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries, just be your friend, serve drinks, whatever you can think of. It will do. And, yeah, it's gonna be awesome.

World Impact Predictions

And I think this will be the biggest product ever of any kind. Yeah. Because I think everyone of the 8 billion people of earth, I think everyone's gonna want their optimist buddy. And there's gonna be some. Maybe two. And then they'll be producing products and services, I predict, actually, provided we address risks of digital superintelligence, 80% probability of good outcome.

Envisioning a Future of Abundance

Look at the right side. The cup is 80% full. The cost of products and services will declined dramatically. And basically anyone will be able to have any products and services they want. It will be an age of abundance the likes of which people have not. Almost no one has envisioned. It will be something special.

Presentation Highlights

So one of the things we wanted to show tonight was that Optimus is nothing. A canned video. It's not walled off. The optimist robots will walk among you. Please, please be nice to the Optimus robots. So you'll be able to walk right up to them, and they'll serve drinks at the bar, and you'll directly.

Experiencing the Robots Up Close

I mean, that's. It's a wild experience just to have humanoid robots. And they're there just in front of you. So, yeah, with that, let's party. I love you guys, too. Look at that gazebo over there. Let's get the party started. Evan, I think you lost sound.

Technical Glitches

FYI. 20. Is it just me or did Evan lose sound? Yeah, I can't hear it either. So it looks like they're having a technical difficulty, I think. And that's why there's no sound. Yeah, I don't know what's going on. Because the camera kind of. And the colitis, they just switched it. Back to the Wii robot screen.

Sound and Technical Issues

Or is that. It might be. You could tell they're having. Yeah. So they're getting sound back. They had some kind of technical glitch, but. Yeah, it's just music again, though. And just like. Yeah, there you go.

Showcasing New Vehicles

Being shown. I think that's it. Now they're showing some of these cabs now. Yeah, they're showing a line of the cabs. People getting in the cabs, I think. Sorry about that. So I was honestly, I posted the videos to Instagram.

Event Summary

I took over my mic, so I had to go down and come back up and stock talk. Didn't want to bring me. No, I'm kidding. It glitches sometimes. Events over though, pretty much. I think we're just kind of watching them. We go through the demos, but I thought that the robo van is something that I heard no one talking about.

Anticipation for Future Developments

It seems like a lot of people were surprised. So surprising. Yeah, some people were speculating on that earlier, but yeah, I think the stream's done now. It's just music and people getting into the cabs. But yeah, that was cool.

Stock Market Reaction

What did the stock do during that? Look at the stock. It's actually moving lower now. It's at 239 55 right now in this overnight session. Yeah, I mean, we didn't really get any information about anything. But I mean, I don't know.

Market Analyst Observations

What's your initial reaction? Flacco? Sorry. I have the music on. Loud initial reactions. So we got some good timelines and we got some good cost per miles, right. For the Robovan and the cyber cab. so a couple of my bull case scenarios got hit on this.

Presentation Reception

This is good. And I think the big one that is probably the most important, that probably is underappreciated is the fact that he said, we're launching in California, in Texas next year. That is exactly like, in my opinion, that's like the most important thing that was said. So that was huge.

Awaited Future Launches

obviously we'll see if it comes true. But, overall, that was the, that was an amazing presentation. That was probably his best presentation ever. And he also had the Jensen jacket on. He looked great. I mean, the guy, I don't know, he crushed it in my opinion.

Key Takeaways from the Event

Yeah, I mean, I think he did a good job. You know, I think the comment about we started unsupervised in Texas, in California in 2025, I thought that was probably the biggest comment as well. But then, you know, right before he mentioned Cybercap 2026, he was like, I tend to be a little optimistic with timelines, so I think that could have quelled some enthusiasm around that.

Analyzing the Presentation

But yeah, I agree that. I mean, if that happens, that's definitely bullish. Banana, what's your thoughts? Initial thoughts on it, bro. Same as everyone, I think. I think it was one of his best presentations, but there's this lacking thing in their presentations and I can't think of the right words, but I can think of analogy the way top gear kind of like shows the car, the angles.

Emotional Connection in Presentations

It just makes you fall in love with the architecture, with the emotion of the entity itself that was lacking. It just showed us a cool car. It looked like a video game. As you can see, the drone from the top down and it driving around the Warner brothers lot.

Evaluating Production and Presentation

I agree. The key thing was the FSD timeline, once people come around to that, if that comes true. But, I mean, there's naysayers just going to say that's probably, you know, Elon propaganda, as usual. But he did put a timeline on it, so it seems that they're very close.

Implications for Nvidia and the Industry

So I think it's all good for Nvidia at the end of the day, because if they're closer, sounds like more Nvidia chips, but that kind of, you know, that way of falling in love with the entities. The same thing with this robo van. This thing just pulled up. This was an incredible piece of architecture.

Public Reception and First Impressions

More people kept coming out of it like one of those circus clowns. I was like, how many more people are going to come out of it? I thought they were going to have something like that. I had a similar prediction, maybe a six seater for business and for families.

Thoughts on Speculative Design

And I was thinking in my head, like, sports teams, but how they fit, that it was just kind of something I was thinking. And then when I saw this thing and he said sports teams, and I saw the amount of seats that it could hold, this is a groundbreaking thing, but it spent like 1 minute of camera time.

Audience Expectations and Future Showcasing

Right. You just, you barely saw the inside, the outside. Again, the way top gear, the way those guys, like, make you fall in love with the architecture, the way they can, you know, turn the corners on a piece of architecture. That's what was missing for me. And I think for a lot of the audience, too.

Closing Thoughts and Suggestions

Yeah, yeah, I think I agree with that. Like, just the idea of being, I don't know, maybe more specific on how this is going to go on a step by step process. I think, at least for me, that would have been better. Emperor or your thoughts on it.

Diverse Perspectives

Kind of lines up the same. I kind of separated into two parts. I think the production value was a little bit lacking, to be fair. I mean, what we saw is incredible, but they don't do a great job of highlighting it and making it just go wow and pop off the screen and put some fireworks around it to show some enthusiasm, something just to give it a little extra oomph.

Critiques on Marketing Approach

But, I mean, that's typical for Tesla. But still, I would have liked to see a little bit more there. The information we got, though, I thought was good. I thought maybe four out of five you could give. We didn't really get anything on the enterprise side.

Concerns Regarding Production Timelines

I didn't really care for his comment about pushing out the semi truck stuff. But I completely agree. Texas and California getting unsupervised. FSD is huge. But other than that, nothing. I mean, some cheaper prices, but nothing really near term showed up for me.

Contemplating the Future Rollout

So I think that's kind of what people are going to read into this and say, yeah, it looks really cool, but, you know, how long ago did they show us the cybertruck, and how long did that take? And, you know, are we going to look at that for this van? But it is still really cool.

Summary of Encouragement

So, I mean, I would say it's, you know, maybe a three and a half out of five if I was to rate the information that we received out of this. So, overall, optimistic, but just lacked something. Yeah. For me, I mean, I kind of knew that these presentations, on average, like, someone.

Outlook for Future Presentations

Someone, one of my followers, he created this chart showing every single event, product launch, and unveil. The average time of the presentation was anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. So I think in general, it was definitely light. But remember, the earnings report is, I think, in two weeks.

Looking Forward to More Information

Right. So I'm sure we're going to get a lot more details fleshed out then. But I still think he came through above and beyond, more or less. And I think the biggest thing was launching in two markets next year. If that happens, it's game overdose.

Wrapping Up the Discussion

Yep. Jordan, what about you? Jordan might not be here. Okay. Evan, what are you thinking? Should we wrap things up or what do you. What do you. What do you think? Yeah, I know Jordan's doing his live stream.

Final Thoughts and Closure

I think if anyone has any extra points they can throw in there, I always like to digest these things, and we could talk about it more tomorrow. Be on spaces, hanging out. We don't get banana up on the spaces too much anymore, so I'm, like, reluctant to close it out here.

Acknowledging the Present

I always want more thoughts from you, but it's 1130, and we got bank earnings tomorrow morning at 07:00 a.m. well, before we. Before we. Before we cut off, I think one of the key things I see that the stock's been all over the place in the aftermarket.

Trading Behavior Insights

I mean, it's low liquidity, but we'll see how it trades. They actually hit that 225 support Evan and I were talking about. But in any case, I. You know, it's always a sell the news vibe.

Market Trends and Expectations

And whenever something's done, it always feels lackluster. But there was a lot of groundbreaking things here besides the FSD stuff that we already talked about. One of the key things was one of the. One of the things that stock talk and I were talking about in the kind of prequel to this whole event, and that was defining how these vehicles, it idly how much inventory we have of them around us, and the, let's call it status quo of what oems and what Tesla even makes off each car.

Understanding Vehicle Valorization

It's just variations of thousands of dollars off of a car. It's not the greatest businesses we discussed earlier. But he did break out how each one of these cars can be worth five x more by using the robotaxi, the software and that type of stuff.

Potential for Margin Expansion

And that's where you start to get an exponential value and margin expansion and a software multiple for the Wall street guys. These are key drivers, and I think that kind of flew over the overnight crowd's head. But if those are realities, that's margin expansion that leads to operating leverage, and I, that leads to stock prices pretty much going up. So we'll see how it plays out.
