Behind the Mic

Initiating the Session

So, Bob, let me get a few more invites up here, and then we can get started. No problem. What's up, tenement? The invites are going out right now, so everyone will start filling in here. We talked earlier today, but bob, how are you doing, man? I'm doing great, man. I'm doing great, man. How are you? I just. Fantastic. My fantasy teams are combined, like, three and, like 14, but other than that, we're good. I went down to one league this year because I'm just. I'm so college ball betting and NFL betting focused that I just don't get the same thrill from fantasy anymore. So I just. I just kind of focus on that. It's also just the whole thing about fantasy is primarily just avoiding injuries, which there's not a whole lot you can do from a team owner standpoint to do that.

Discussion about Fantasy Teams

Yeah, that's a good point, too, you know? Yeah, no, I mean, you're correct there. I mean, my fantasy teams are still terrible. I drafted every single one of them, and auto drafted teams are beating me. Like, I posted on wolf sports today, and it was like, the auto draft team that's four and, oh, that's just dominating everyone else in your leagues. That's exactly what I'm going through. I saw that and it was kind of funny, but it's also true. I mean, it's like you sit there and you walk, and everybody's annoyed by the auto draft person. And it's not like they make picks where you think, oh, damn, I wish I could. You know, like, they're not stealing players, necessarily, but somehow a few weeks in, it's just like, oh, my God, they had it figured out like this. The computer knew what they were doing.

Frustrations in Fantasy Football

No, exactly. And I don't know if it's just that I'm terrible at just. I honestly didn't do much research this year. But, like, dude, Bijon Robinson is not performing as well as you should. Like, I have a few guys that it's just like, dude. But. But that's the other thing that's so annoying with fantasy is that with Bijan, it's not about skill, and it's also not even about, like, up. It's not like he's not getting opportunity as, like, the starter. Right? Like, it's not like they're playing somebody over him. It's just like the game plans and the game scripts aren't really favoring his output. So it's not like he's getting 20 carries and ending up with 50 yards. Right. Like, it's just kind of, like, weird I games that he's not getting a ton of touches and just, he's not putting up first round numbers. But I don't know. I still believe in the talent and at the end of the day, these teams are trying to win games. They're not trying to, like, boost guys stats. So it's just like, it's a hard game to play with those things in mind.

Injuries and Betting Experience

100% and yeah, no, I mean, my other biggest takeaway from the fantasy season is kind of the injuries. Like, I picked Christian McCaffrey in a league and he's nowhere to be found. Like, he has achilles tendinitis in both. Both legs that nobody knew about. Yeah. Like what? That was basically a secret the entire offseason. No, literally, like, I don't know who came up with that or. Yeah, but overall, like, fantasy has been pretty fun this year. Betting has not been fun because I keep losing every single week. I never listened to plug he trivia here in a few minutes, he said. But yeah, no, like, I haven't done really well with betting or any of that. I'm curious about this soccer post that he has up because I know we haven't talked about it a lot on tv or even the spaces, but I am a big football head and I don't even know you.

Recollections from Previous Bets

I'm sure you don't even remember the first space that I even came and co hosted. It was a Friday parlay gambling space, and the first pick I ever gave out on this platform was a soccer pick. Oh, really? It was literally. I feel like I do remember that. I feel like I remember you talking about it. Yeah. And I remember, like, I felt good about it, and then it was like I, you know, let it fly, and I got nothing. Like no response from the crowd, no reactions at all. Nothing. And I was like, all right, well, this is a little bit of new guy hazing, but also maybe not like a big soccer crowd here. No, adjust. You know, literally, I never talked soccer until EMP started joining my spaces. And then I was like, oh, maybe I should, like, at least pay attention. And then I started to.

Immersing into Betting Culture

And then it was like, it was. Either right before or right after my soccer picks that I gave. It was like somebody firing off like a five or six leg, like UFC parlay. And I'm just like, all right, this is a different, these are different waters that we're swimming in right now. No, literally, like, I remember MMA pickers gave me like a twelve team or twelve man parlay. I'll say. Not even team. It was in UFC. I was like dude what? What am I even listening to? Yeah, like is this going to take me an hour to even like place this bet? Yeah, no, it's crazy. Plug it. We were just talking about like how betting season has gone so far. Like what have you seen this year? Have you been pretty successful with your bets?

Bets and Strategies Discussion

Yeah, I've been doing pretty well. MLB this year coming up might so. So I always call it bag season which is this time of year where we're getting NHL, college basketball, NFL all at once. Because college basketball and NHL are my, they're my most profitable sports. But baseball I actually did a lot better than I did last year in baseball. This year soon as playoffs are done I'll give you guys the exact numbers because I track everything I do and I could break it down into sports. So last time I looked in baseball I was up 32 units. So I'm hoping to end about 50 after playoffs. But I took a loss tonight. The only thing I bet tonight was I bet profar. I bet profar for his or not profar. My bad. The calzer. I bet Kouser for his hits runs in RBI's and he went oh and three struck out all three times. It was a horrible game and I, I like the over in that one as well.

Reflections on Recent Bets

That did not hit so it tonight was a sucky night but the last two days I actually took off. I haven't placed a bet in the last two days. Tonight was my first one and like I said I had Calzer so it didn't go too well. But I'm looking forward to getting back on. So starting tomorrow we'll have football on every day until thanksgiving. So we will not have one day without football until thanksgiving which is pretty cool. So I'm looking forward to that. Dude, love to hear it. By the way before we kind of jump into things that I keep calling enhanced. You guys know the pillows that you bring on a plane that go around your neck? The memory foam ones. My dog ripped it up and there's about 12,000 pieces all over my room of it.

Comedic Side of Betting

But either way. No. I love to hear it plug. I love how you track everything. Do you track every bet you make? Yeah, I do. I used to have someone who would track all my guys as well but he left so I don't really have time to track all of my guys so I just do myself right now. But I want I'm hoping I can get someone else to come back in and do the whole team since there's only three of us. It's not really that difficult. But right now we're all tracking ourselves individually. But I much rather have an outside person tracking us instead of ourselves. But right now it's just a good way to save money. 100%.

Getting Feedback from Participants

Bob, I see your hand up. Actually, before we go to Bob, I'm sorry, we have to go. Ladies first. Presley, how you doing? Hey, guys, what's up? I am doing great. You were asking about bets and I actually just won one of my first bets in a minute. I had a four bet parlay hit. It was actually all overs and I've been having, I have not been having luck with any of my player props. So when I mix in the touchdowns in there, I have not been. Yeah, that has not been working out. But I do have a couple that I am going with for this weekend. But do you want to hear those now, Orlando?

Weekend Betting Preferences

Yeah, go, yeah, go ahead. And then we'll go over to Bob. But yeah, you go first. And Sam, are you feeding your dog? Why is your dog. You know, I thought I was, but he was bothering me and then I threw it at him and he took it and ran downstairs and ripped it all up. All right, well, that's a different issue, but. Okay. So for this weekend, the bucks Falcons game, I'm really excited about this game. And the Falcons are at home. They're favored by one and a half and I am going to take them. I think they're going to beat the Bucks and both of those teams can put up a lot of points.

Betting on Matchups

So I'm going to parlay that with the over 44. So I'm also going to add on to that bet. I'm going to bet the Vikings. I'm really shocked. The 40 Vikings at home are only favored two and a half points over the jets. So I know that games in London, so maybe that's a reason, I don't know. But I am definitely taking that one because I, that's the one I feel the most sure about. But then I am going to. This one might be a little bit of a hot take. The Saints Chiefs game. I am going with the Saints. It is a home game for the Chiefs and their favorite five and a half, but I think the Saints are going to give them their first loss. So that's my pick. So it's a four bet parlay.

Community Engagement and Reactions

We love to hear it, Bob, go ahead. And then we'll kind of react to everyone's bets. Yeah, for sure. So first thing, I just want to circle back to what plug was talking about the importance of tracking your bets. I know, I do it by sport. I know for college football specifically, since that's kind of something I specialize in. I actually track it by book, by day of the week I'm placing my wagers, side total, all of that. It's very important to do that because then you could potentially see if there's some leaks. I know actually just for transparency, like I had a couple weeks earlier in the year where my totals, haven't been going well. So that's just something I'm doing.

Sharing Insights on Bet Tracking

And my total volume is actually down this week in college football. so that's something that's very important is this, is tracking your bets, understanding where you might have a leak, and things like that. Like that is just something very critical. And the other thing plug mentioned too, you know, the years long, we're obviously getting up to a time where you get kind of the sports equinox. College basketball is going to start next month. College football. The four major sports all start here in October. Going at the same time, the importance of taking a day off as well. You know, give yourself that mental health break.

Mental Health in Betting

That is extremely important and something you must do, just to kind of succeed, you know, to succeed, maintain success and all that stuff. So that's just something I just want to, you know, say plug, totally agree. That's a great job. And I think that's practice that literally anyone who places a single wager or bets year round should do. And then of course I'm happy to go into college football a bit later, but just wanted to make sure that got its own spotlight, dude, love to hear it. I feel like I'm going to become a professional, sports better after this space listening to you and plug.

Reflections on the Sports Betting Year

But yeah, no, overall it's been kind of a unique year when it comes to sports betting. We do have king. Oh, King Apollo is not a speaker right now, but Nazis, Nats. We're just kind of covering how sports betting has gone this year, how fantasy football I guess, because that's a form of sports betting has gone this year. But have you done any bets this. Weekend or last weekend been absolutely amazing? Actually, I saw this and I just finished dinner. Hold on. Let me say 1 second. I'm pulling up what I got for tonight.

Bets Performance Overview

I've been doing extremely well on MLB. I have Joe. Okay, hold on. Sorry. Overall betting has been great. The NFL season in general. Speaking on that, sorry I'm switching so many different places right now because I'm trying to get this going, but the NFL season has been crazy. I mean, one, so many injuries to so many stars, so many higher profile players not performing where, you know, obviously everyone expect them to. It's just a total free for all this year. It's very interesting. With that said, let me get back to what I was going to start with. I have Max freed of the Atlanta Braves, over 4.5 strikeouts.

Betting Strategies and Predictions

He hit this in five of his five of his last five games and six of his last seven away games. Joe Musgrove of the San Diego Padres, so opposite team, over five and a half strikeouts. He hit this in five of his last five games and hit it in four of his last four home games. And overall, head to head against them, he's two for two. The other thing I had was. That. One already started, but it was Frankie Montas. Over 1.5 walks allowed and he already has one walk going into the second inning here. So. Dude, love to hear it plugged in. Do you have any takeaways on that? I'm not the biggest MMB guy, so I'm not going to really know, but it sounded right to me.

Sharing Insights on MLB Bets

I think if you're hitting all your MLB bets, I might as well tell you. Yeah, man, that's better than what I. Better than what I had tonight, that's for damn sure. I do like profar tonight in the San Diego game, I gave it out as one of my video plays. I did not place the wager just because, and normally I bet everything I give out of, but like I said, I'm kind of taking today, yesterday and today off because, you know, things are about to get really crazy and, you know, just like Bob was hitting on, you kind of need those days, man.

Insights on Upcoming Bets

So that's what I'm doing for today and tomorrow. But I still got to give plays just because not only do I have a service, but, you know, people also kind of look for them. So, yeah, but my only bet I have tonight, I do like what he said, though. I do like, I love that Frankie Montage walks over that. That's a gem. I really do like that. The strikeouts I'm not too sure about. I mean, who knows, especially with the way it's going. But yeah, profar is the only MLB bet I got. But I got a bunch of college football and NFL bets for you guys for tonight.

Discussion on College Football Bets

What do you have in college football? I'm curious. Yeah, so I did it right up on the. I did it right up already. I did a couple articles already. I picked out the TCU and Houston game. This is a pretty interesting one to me. Houston's offense, you know, is Houston's offense this year. It's not looking great. I think TC, you should roll here, bro. I think they should roll here. It's a big spread and I think it's big for a reason. I mean, they're asking us. It opened at 17, I believe, 16 and a half on some books.

Predictions for TCU vs. Houston

I think TCU runs this game start to finish. If you're nervous about laying, you know, laying the number, I think, I'm thinking you could probably get TCU probably anywhere around like 33 and a half for their team total. I would probably look at that as well. I mean, you would think the Cougars should find some kind offense, but, man, I mean, this, the horn frog should have no problem scoring here. They got a great passing attack, which has been able to make up for some of their poor defense. Right. TCU, I don't think they're going to beat too many. They're not going to. They're going to have a lot of problems with teams with good defenses that they play.

Final Thoughts on Matchup Dynamics

But Houston's offense has been just so bad that I think we're actually kind of safe laying this number here. So I think it's TCU minus the points in this one is what I did in the write up. So that's one game I'm looking at. I believe that's. When is that? That's on the fourth, right? So it's Friday night. Yeah, Friday night, dude, Friday night. Do college football and Friday nights have actually been awesome? Like, I don't know why, but they have been awesome. So that's pretty cool.

Excitement Over Friday Night Football

What's going on with college football on Friday nights now? I'm loving it because then obviously we got all day of college football on Saturday, and then obviously Sunday we have the NFL.

Game Analysis: Michigan State vs. Oregon

But, yeah, that was one game I was looking at another one. Another game I was looking at for that same day was obviously Michigan State and Oregon. Oregon coming in undefeated. I'm not too big on Michigan State, bro. I don't believe in this team at all. I think Oregon should absolutely roll them. But you're giving MSU almost, what, four touchdowns is a little crazy to me. I think a lot of things can go wrong for Oregon for MSU to come in the back door with that. So I'm sadly going to have to take MSU there. But that's what I got for Friday night.

Friday Night Slate: Houston vs. TCU

I actually think Friday night slates pretty good myself. I don't have anything on that Michigan State Oregon game, just more so thinking about that tough spot for really both teams. Oregon has to look ahead to hosting Ohio State next week and Michigan State played Ohio State on Saturday, then has short week cross country travel going out west to Eugene there. So obviously a concern there. So so on the Houston TCU side, I think I lean Houston if I were to get 17, but I don't know if that's going to come back on that end. Houston's defense has been fine. I’m. But you're right, the offense ranks 120th in EPA per play. I mean, it's really like TCU could easily sit on this ball and win this game, you know, 2027 three or something like that. I don't think the team total is a d is a good looks. I I could see that one getting just kind of game dying late if Houston can't put up anything. Two games I do like Friday night and of course I like a ton on Saturday.

Jacksonville State vs. Kennesaw State Analysis

I bet Jacksonville State actually laid 14 and a half. It's currently 16 and a half. I think it's fine at that number against Kennesaw State. It's not actually a numbers play. I make the number like right here, like right at 15, but it's more of, again, a situational spot. We saw Kennesaw State lose last week on Saturday to an FCS team and UT Martin at home and Jacksonville State had a buy. So it's something where Kennesaw State has a short weekend coming off, you know, kind of a heartbreaking loss. You know, hoping to get their first win in the FBS as a team. Could not do it. And then they have a short week playing a Jacksonville state team who's really found something when they made a recent quarterback change to Tyler Hoff, I believe is his name. Dual threat kid transferred from Furman. So really, like Jacksonville stayed in that spot. And another game, the Syracuse UNLV game late. that spread is quite interesting seeing UNLV, who obviously had the nil situations with Matthew Saluka, went to a backup, Hodge Malik Williams, who actually, like, I consider him an upgrade and he performed great.

Syracuse vs. UNLV Insights

He's a better passer than what Saluka was bringing in a power five team, a power four team in Syracuse out west here. That number's getting out close to a touchdown. I don't have anything on it right now, but the second that flashes a seven, I'm going to come back on Syracuse. Plus the seven. So I'll just be sitting, lurking and waiting for that. So officially on a Friday, I'll give out Jacksonville State -16 and a half and I'll wait to see if maybe Houston gets a 17. I don't know about that one, but definitely if Syracuse touches seven, I'll hit that. Yeah, they're tripping on that number. bro, they're tripping on that number. Just let the public keep on, buying in on UNLV here and we're going to get Syracuse at a really good price.

UNLV Defense and Syracuse's Chances

I'm with you. This is still an offense that can still put up points, bro. And you got a UNL defense that personally I am not sold on at all. I don't like this UNL defense as much as everyone else likes this team. Syracuse offense should be able to run up the score here, no problem. Dude. I'm serious. I think the orange might have a chance to win this game outright. I'm with you there big time. I think. I think the public is just going to keep on running up UNLV. So this is definitely one of them spots where we wait because you are going to keep getting. I think it opened up at a four and a half, right? Four and a half or a five. So you can just keep waiting. Honestly, I think, yeah, I thought the.

Dallas Cowboys Analysis

Opener was fine at around. At around four. That's. That's by numbers, like. Right. Like high threes, low fours somewhere over there. Yeah. And whatever. Whatever mcCord's. Whatever McCord's numbers are, which they're not going to be out right now, but whenever you get his passing yards or whatever you can get on McCord, I would take him over. He has a possibility to have a huge game here and that's the whole reason why I think they're absolutely probably going to win this game outright, especially if this line keeps on climbing. It's just going to make me like Syracuse more so. I'm actually glad you brought up that game. Dude. Love to hear it. We also got Sean up or Sean up on the panel. What's going on, man? We're kind of talking any bets that you have this weekend? Pretty much any sport? We've kind of covered a little bit of college football, a little bit of NFL and a little bit of MLB, but what are you looking at this weekend for? Bets?

Indiana University and NFL Prop Bets

Yeah, I looked at a few things and kind of stay away from college football. Haven't been doing the greatest with that, but I do like IU to cover the 13.5 at Northwestern. I was looking at the team total for IU, but they don't have it listed on DK. So I probably lean towards a team total. If you can get a team total, depending on what the number is. NFL bets though. I'm definitely gonna have a lot more prop bets, probably. You do. You guys are doing another show on Friday night, right? Yes, sir, we are usually. Go ahead. No, you're good. I was just gonna say. Yeah, that's. That space has kind of been pretty much all sports. We've covered a little bit of college football, a little bit of UFC, a little bit of NFL.

NFL Prop Bets and MLB Discussion

So feel free. Yeah, definitely for Friday I'm gonna have more prop bets because they just don't have a lot of lines up for the NFL yet. But I gave out some picks last night. Like I said, I like the Colts as a home pick. Still the Bengals this weekend I'll have a lot more prop picks I think on Friday night after I've had been able to look at the lines and see where they're at for player props. But as far as a play, I like tonight, if nobody said anything about baseball, I mean I'm a Braves fan and I think the Braves are gonna snack snag one a night. Give me a brave plus money.

Responses to Braves Discussion

Do love to hear it. That's spicy. That's like plug. You disagree? Oh, I disagree wholeheartedly. I think. Brays go home tonight. Pack them up. Pack them up. Presley, what's going on? Pack them up. I just. I have a fantasy question and I have a. An NFL question. my first one, I'll. I'll just shoot to the NFL. So the Cowboys and the Steelers game and I don't know why tenement, but I always. I just want to bet the Cowboys. I hate the Cowboys, but Steelers got their first loss in that close battle with the. With the Colts on the road. But I just feel like the Cowboys after that win against the Giants, they still have so much to prove and I don't know, I think giving them. They're a wait.

Cowboys vs. Steelers: Betting Opinions

Steelers are a two and a half point favorite. So I. I don't know. I want to pick the Cowboys on that game with the taking the plus two and a half. Does anybody have any thoughts on that? So I'll ask the same question again that I asked before is. Is there anything that you've seen from Dallas to this point that has inspired any level of confidence in them moving forward? No. Yeah, not really. But I just. I don't know why I feel like dak I don't know. He got a lot of shit after that last game. Even though they won, people still are, you know, wondering why they can't put up more points and why they can't have a larger win margin. So, I don't know, I just, I feel like this is the game, but you're right.

Concerns about the Cowboys

And look, I mean, look, I am all about a buy low opportunity. I mean, by all means, you know, I love to take, to look for opportunities to buy low. However, one rule that I always like to have in that is I need to see signs of life first. Like, if I see some signs of life and maybe you've had a couple of bad luck outcomes or just kind of like, you know, some weird things have happened at the end of a game, maybe the ball doesn't bounce your way. Fine. That's where I look to buy low. But I. I don't know that we've really seen a lot of signs of life from this Dallas team yet. And now there's, you know, I think Micah Parsons is dealing with some injury concerns and I don't know.

Dallas Cowboys Season Analysis

I mean, the run game is, we. They knew what this was. They came into the season with a horrendous depth chart of running backs, just thinking they could run it back with Zeke again. And, you know, they have Dalvin Cook maybe potentially coming in off the practice score squad, but I don't know, they have no running game. The defense is not great and I don't know, they seem to be pressing and it's just, I'm not saying that their season's over by any means. I mean, they can certainly turn it around. And like I said, I even said, I think on Monday or Tuesday is that I wouldn't be surprised at all if they got into the playoffs, but I just wouldn't have high aspirations for them.

Steelers vs. Cowboys Predictions

And I certainly, just don't have a lot of confidence backing them right now. So, right now, if you were told you had to pick, between the Cowboys Steelers, who would you take for that game? Just straight up, the Steelers aren't very good either. Like the LA. Have a three in one record, but they're not. Yeah, they're not as good as their record. Correct. I like the Steelers advantage, in the trenches then. I think their defensive line can cause problems, at least, you know, until they start to see some injuries.

Trench Advantage: Steelers Over Cowboys

I think that's kind of what's keeping them alive in games, is their defensive line is doing well and their offensive line is at least allowing fields enough time to you know, make high percentage passes and do a little bit of running himself. So that's where I think, you know, when it comes to the Steelers cowboy. I like the Steelers both o line and d line better, and I would also give them the coaching advantage. All right, thanks for talking. I was gonna, I was gonna ask nots, what do you think about Dallas? Are you, are you gonna buy low on Dallas or you're not a big fan?

Giants Fan Perspective on Cowboys

I'm a Giants fan, and not saying it has anything to do with the answer, but in general, truly, I really, I don't know. They look really off and yes, they're regular. They're regular season kings, but I don't know. They honestly, I think that's exactly it is that we're used to seeing them. Like, this is normally the time that they play great. They're thriving, and that's when they fool everybody into thinking that they're, like a legitimate team.

Dallas Cowboys Consistency Issues

Like, this is when they are usually crushing teams, make sure they're winning home games, you know, demolishing teams, like, putting up big numbers, and then everybody gets all hopped up on the Cowboys and then, you know, they wait for the playoffs to lay a big egg, you know, but now it's like we're seeing that version right now. So that's what. So I agree. I think it's a little bit hard to compute because normally they play a little bit better this time of year, but like I said, I don't know.

Run Game Analysis for the Cowboys

I mean, having no run game at all and just, you know, their offense isn't really moving the chains and their defense isn't getting stopped. So that's not a recipe to win against any opponent. Yeah, I totally agree. Yeah, their line is different. Their line is actually fine. I mean, they've had one of the best lines for years, and you obviously see weakness in that. Obviously, their running backs are just not up to par in general. I mean, you got a see coming back, you know, older and not saying he's horrible, but obviously he's not.

Cowboys Management and Current Decisions

He's a shell of what he was. I mean, I know Dalvin Cook hasn't touched anything yet, but the drop off on Dalvin Cook from last year was crazy. There's so many things. An offensive, well, it's like they let Tony Pollard go for nothing and then they didn't have a replacement plan, and it's just kind of like, what are we doing here? You know, they're like, the guy that came, comes into the fantasy draft without, doesn't do any research at all, and they're just like, oh, Ezekiel Elliot.

Dallas Draft Decisions and Staff Dynamics

I know that name. He sounds good. Like, look at Dalvin Cook. Oh, this guy's been good before. He must be good. And they're just like picking up guys with names and, you know, like these guys just aren't who they used to be. So that's what makes it a little bit difficult. I mean, I know that good running backs don't necessarily just grow on trees, but I don't know, I felt like to just let Tony Pollard walk and then, which I didn't disagree with because I don't know that he was necessarily worth giving them a mega contract to.

Dallas' Succession Plan for Running Back

But at the same time, Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott can't be the succession plan. Tip, do you have any counter to that? I have no counter at all because I agree with you, but I'm gonna take it the next step further. How's everybody doing? First of all? Sorry, Tip, supermarket. We are doing great. Yeah, sorry, man. I saw you had your hand up. I thought you were ready to fire.

Cowboys Opportunity Missed

I didn't mean to put you on the. No, I'm good. I'm ready to go. But I do just have to acknowledge the room and just say, tell everybody hello. But as far as the running back situation in Dallas has shot themselves in their own foot because they had a guy in Derek Henry who lives in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex area ready to be a cowboy, ready to play on that team. And he would have taken a discount.

Henry's Missed Opportunity for the Cowboys

I think he ended up getting 8 million. And Baltimore, I think he would have gone for like six five, maybe like six two five, something like that. I think that Derek Henry was the miss for them. And Jerry Jones, for whatever reason thought that he can get it done with Rico Dotto aging Ezekiel Elliott. And then, you know what, let's go ahead and put CD Lamb in the backfield now that they're going to get that guy killed if he does that.

CD Lamb's Role and Challenges

CD Lamb's a strong wide receiver, but you're talking about like 304 hundred pound linemen he's gonna have to go through again if he's running the ball, you know, type of running back type, you know, he's not a devil, Samuel. So anyway, that's all I got, man. I just appreciate the show again. Yeah, man. And that's my thing. I think Dallas did that to themselves.

Miami's QB Decisions

Oh, you know what? And another thing. Hold on. I'm sorry, another thing. What the hell is Miami doing? If I'm not mistaken, they could have had Joe Flacco. Joe Flacco look at what he did. I'm not going to get into it, but look at what he did last week. Look at what he did the year before with Cleveland. You know, you got an injury prone quarterback, a guy who's been through several concussions, and this is the second time he's done the fencing.

Injury Issues and Backup Planning

And you know you got that now. You know you got burners on the wide receivers and a burner in a running back. And your offensive line is. okay. It's not bad. It's all right. Like, why would you not try to go after Joe Slacken? Shout out to Chris Ballard, because that was. That was an amazing pickup. He did what he needed to do. He got himself the most, second most important person on the team. A good backup quarterback.

Wrap Up and Future Insights

That's all I got. All right. Dude. Love to hear it. Yeah, enough of the Dallas talk. I don't like Dallas. And I love how a tip and tenement they all agree that Dallas isn't very good this year. Anybody else have is. Well, especially now we're. Well, we're five weeks into the NFL season. Has anybody made any NFL future bets? Plug? Have you made any?

Futures Bets Overview

No, I haven't. Which I was supposed to do. I think I. I think I wrote some. I got a huge. In my discord in my. On the vip side, I got a huge futures thread that I work every year for every new season. I actually started my NHL one tonight. I'm gonna. I'm gonna start finishing in it. So it could be out by Monday because hockey starts on the 6th. But when it comes to NFL, I should have made them bets last week or, you know, somewhere around the second week of NFL is where I probably would have made them bets.

NFL Bets Update

So I'm probably not going to make any future bets in the NFL this year. Presley. Go ahead, Zachary. My future bet. Eagles Super Bowl 2025. No, I haven't made any. But just real quick, I have a question about. I have to pick between Chase Brown and Najee Harris for running back this week. Cincinnati is playing the Ravens, Pittsburgh's playing Cowboys. Does anybody have any opinions? What? How many teams in that league? That's a rough situation for this. I was gonna say, do you have 18 people in that team or that league?

League Composition

No, this is the Wolf league I'm in. Oh, that's only twelve. That's a. Is that for your. Who's your starting running backs? Let me see. I have to open it up. Hold on. She probably got two in the same bi week. Maybe Barkley or Gibbs or there's a couple of big names on by this weekend week. I did that last year. I have, You asked about my running backs. Yeah, yeah. I was just curious. I have. Chiron Williams is my main guy and then. Yeah, I have doubt. Doubtle on the cowboys. Yeah. I don't have great running backs, but out of those two. Help me out. Who should I pick?

Running Back Dilemma

It's kind of a. I was going to. That might be a tip. Question. Tip. Go ahead. Do you have an answer for her? I do, yeah. I think you go Nasi Harris, he has not been good at all. I get it. But the Cowboys hemorrhage points to running backs or rushing yards. And then not only that, if you've seen the Cowboys have 32 missed tackles this year, that's like tied for 10th most. What is Najee Harris? Najee Harris is a big, bruising running back. Like, kind of like a little bit smaller version and definitely a slower version than Derek Henry.

Cowboys Defense and Predictions

So I think he gets one this week, man. I think that he does really well. The Cowboys continue to miss tackles. They don't have Michael Parsons. They don't have DeMarcus. They're injured on the, in the, you know, secondary as well. I think. I think the Steelers kind of beat up on him tonight, this Sunday night, but, yeah, that's. I go with Nazi Eris. I love Chase Brown, though. I just think that this is like a beat up week for the Cowboys. Hey, by the way, I haven't talked to him in a few weeks, especially since the start of fantasy, but not.

Fantasy League Performances

How is. How are you liking your wolf sports fantasy league? Our fantasy team? I was going to say were in the same boat. But you're four and I'm only three and five. I honestly don't think I've won a game. Maybe one, but, like, all the games, like, I score a lot of points, but I always lose. Like, I don't think I've actually won a game, but not. What do you think about your team? He might not be there. Yeah, he's not up here. Oh, my screen is. That's weird. Oh, Sean. What's up, man? Oh, yeah, you said future bet.

Future Bets Discussion

Another home pick here. But I like the value on it, especially as crappy as the division's been. I still like the Colts at plus 475 to win a division, bro. How do you Texans? I mean, Tennessee, I don't really see too much there. Jacksonville, I didn't see that. The, you know, the downfall this year, but I don't see anything changing on that side of things. Outside of that, I just think that based on what's left in the schedule, I think the Colts have a good shot and plus 475 is definitely worth them, worth the risk.

Colts Division Odds

Unless the Texans just ultimately start turning it up. I don't, I don't see it being a, you know, a crazy thing where the Texans are going to be two or three games better than the Colts. That's just my opinion, but. So, dude, I got to ask you, what is up with this Colton Jaguars line? I was just going to say that. Shit looks crazy, but what are you more surprised? You think it should be higher or lower? Well, I think the coach should. I would expect the cold to be maybe not favorite, but three and a half.

Jaguars vs. Colts

I was gonna say I don't think they've won. Maybe. Sean, what can correct me here? I. They haven't won in Jacksonville since maybe that's why maybe Baltimore. I don't know. It's been an eternity since they won a game. It's been like ten years. Yeah. Like, it's like you can just go ahead and mail that one in. It is an automatic loss at Jacksonville no matter what. I know I've gotten. I like it. I got knocked out of my eliminator pool in week one.

Historical Context of Colts' Performance

One year when Andrew Luck and the Colts, who were very highly rated at that point before Jacksonville had Trevor Lawrence, when they were like the dumpster fire Jaguars, colts went in there week one, I was immediately out of my eliminator pool. And I think that was kind of the eye opening thing where it's like, okay, well, they just never win this game. Okay. Yeah. There, I mean, it's a big, you're right, 100%. I mean, that we haven't, I think we've think they have eight games, eight in a really one at home.

Jacksonville's Potential Run

So. You know, who else thinks Jacksonville is going to go on a run here? And then like week eleven, they'll be like six and four or like five or five and five. Like, I don't think Jacksonville's as bad as, like everyone thinks. I mean, I get it. They are owing for, but I'd refer to that. I see it with Trevor Lawrence and I don't know if anything, he's regressing. I mean, he's getting worse week to week, and it's almost like now he's kind of missing throws that he would have been hitting before those intermediate routes.

Trevor Lawrence's Performance

I mean, forget the deep balls. He's got almost no accuracy on his deep balls at all right now. So I don't know. That's, the Trevor Lawrence display so far has been very concerning. You know, I honestly, do you think, would you still take him number one overall in that draft? So you, that draft you have Zach Wilson, Mack Jones, Trey Lance, Justin Fields. Brock Purdy was the final pick in that draft. Oh, I forgot. I forgot about Brock Purdy.

Perspective on Draft Picks

Yeah, I think he was the very last. He might have been taking over all of them now in hindsight, and still not even that super strong of a pick. I don't know. I mean, that's not a quarterback class for the record books. That's for sure. Definitely. Well, does anybody have any MLB? Okay, who am I supposed to bet on to win the World Series? This might be a plug or a bob question or someone, but I don't know anything about it.

World Series Betting Insights

All I know is the Cubs are not in the playoffs. Listen, I hate to say it right now, but you probably, depending on where they're priced at, it's hard not to look at the Tigers, man. I mean, Jesus, bro, I, is that just a clear, like, okay, Astros are bad or are these tigers really going to make a run here? I mean, seriously, because, guys, I got to tell you, I, when it comes to playoffs, right, there is one thing I love to look for.

Evaluating Playoff Contenders

Bullpen is huge for me. And another thing is you can never count a team out when you got a team, like, let's say, the Mets right now, that is a very good, a good habit to have. When you're, when you're down in a game, you know, you can easily come back up. You don't get discouraged. Just like we have seen from the Mets moving forward the last couple days, we've seen it from them all week. So right now, Wolf, me personally, man, I would say value wise, I would have to be looking towards the Mets or the Tigers personally.

Concerns on Team Performance

The thing I would say that worries me a little bit with the Tigers and look, I mean, their team, that I've actually liked them before the season going in, I thought that they had a decent shot of to make playoffs future bethe. And granted, I mean, midway through the season, it's like, okay, well, that's not looking great. And, you know, they kind of turned it on or, you know, did they turn it on or did they just play a whole lot of games against the White Sox that they were able to, put in the bank as just automatic wins?

Tigers Performance Overview

And that's kind of where I stand, is that they had a very favorable schedule down the stretch. They got in. Now look, they are talented now they went in. You know, they played Houston and they had a guy who's in contention for Cy Young and Scuba, who's great. And, you know, you can, anything can happen in these short series. I mean, the better team loses very often in these short series because all you got to do, you get shut down by one pitcher, then the next night you got, you don't, you know, things don't go your way, you're out, it's over with.

Importance of Series Format

And I don't know, things get a little bit different when you get into the seven game series because then, you know, you have to face these starters twice in a very short span, you know, maybe twice within, you know, three or four days. So, you know, maybe scuba doesn't look as dominant that second time around within the same week. So that's the only play. That's really where I'm a little hesitant now. However, they got some young guys, they have some young pop in that lineup, guys that maybe don't have some irrational confidence thanks to the youth and, you know, that could play in their favor.

Tigers and White Sox Matchup

But at the same time, I don't know. I just, I think they were, I know Bob Hatton knows for sure, but I, they were like twelve and one against the White Sox. Them and Kansas City were you know, like a collective, like 25 and three I think, against the White Sox. So it's like, that's what I look at. That's where these teams kind of were able to slip in because they had more games against the White Sox than most other teams in the league.

Analytical Insights

Bob, what did you think? Yeah, just pulled it up. Sorry to pull up from another text message. Yeah. Kansas City was twelve and one against the White Sox and Detroit and 74 and 75 versus everyone else. And the Tigers were ten and three versus the White Sox, 76 and 73 versus everyone else. So that was what I had texted to you earlier in the week. I do know preseason, I know there are some pretty, I don't personally bet too much MLB myself.

Expert Perspectives

I do know some sharp guys that do, though. And they were, they did like the Tigers preseason and have some Tigers al at some big numbers from March and February and whatnot. And I know from just from what I've seen talking to some friends, I know there's some people who really like the Padres and the NL. So that would be kind of my only take there as far as baseball goes. Not something I'm too heavily involved in.

Looking Ahead

But of course, you know, it's on the tv right now for me this weekend, just because I know we're kind of getting close to the top of the hour. I know we could probably got to do trivia and I'm not going to be here on Friday just to run through a couple college football games that I'm going to be on this week. I'm just going to kind of listen a handful off here.

College Football Insights

I really like Louisville minus the 6.5 against SMU. Nice little spot following Louisville's great performance against Notre Dame. That really impressed me and just think it's a good. I think SMU is kind of riding a little high after a couple good performances on there and big wins for that program. Really like West Virginia plus the three against Oklahoma State and then in some smaller schools. Give me Miami of Ohio plus six and a half against Toledo Nevada plus six and a half against San Jose.

College Game Strategizing

Obviously, if you can get seven, please do that. That's what I bet in both those games. I like Kansas plus three against Arizona State and I'll lay the 17 with Yukon against Temple. Could be a quarterback change for the Owls there where someone might be missing. That could adjust that number greatly. And of course, they did take Jacksonville State officially earlier, minus the 16 half against Kennesaw.

Key Matchups

And in one of the bigger games. I do like Michigan. If three comes back, there should be a battle on the market with some disagreement between different groups throughout the week. So if three pops back on Michigan, that is a bet I've already made against Washington in a national title rematch. So if that three pops back, you can go ahead and play it, but only play it at plus three -110 against Washington.

Final Thoughts

Dude, love to hear it. Does anybody have any big takeaways from Bob's college football bets? I saw plug come off mute. What do you think? Oh, my bad. I didn't know I was off. No, I was going to agree with him on the Louisville. I absolutely love Louisville. That I think a lot of people are going. The thing I'm worried about is a lot of people probably run into Louisville after that, after what they just seen with Notre Dame.

Public Reactions

But I don't think it much matters because I don't. I'm not necessarily sure that we can say that's a program that people are necessarily going to run to, at least not with college football, I would think. Right. So I'm kind of really liking Louisville here. I think it's a great look. Mandy and the other one was. What would you say the other one was, Bob? West Virginia.

Debate on West Virginia

Yeah. Yeah. I'm probably staying away from that one. I don't like to mess with West Virginia games, man. They always get me. I'm always like, you always got that one team that you're just on the wrong side of. West Virginia has always been that team. Just, just the athletic program in general. Them and Baylor. I don't know who's worse this year.

Struggles with Specific Teams

I can't get right. South Alabama football. So I just sat out their game last week. I'm looking at that game this weekend's Arkansas State. But, but, yeah, just that was a team I haven't gotten right. So there's definitely always one with that. Yep. I think every better has that one team that just loves it. Doesn't matter, man, how you bet on, take on whatever they will find a way to screw you over and definitely, I got problems with West Virginia for sure.

Analyzing Washington-Michigan Game

What do you think about Washington this week? Michigan. I took, I took Michigan plus the three when it came back earlier in the week. There's going to be a battle with some various groups there. My big thing here is Washington's been shooting itself in the foot a lot this year. You saw that in the Washington State game a couple times.

Challenges Facing Washington

Poor special teams, poor coverage on kickoffs, punts. You saw the three miss field goals against Rutgers last week as well. And also just of note, they're dead last in EPA, which is expected. Points added in, penalty lost to penalties. So they're just, they're really just shooting themselves in the foot. I have questions about the Washington O line with all the transfers there.

Washington's Offensive Struggles

They beat up on some poor competition and some poor defensive lines specifically. And Michigan's defensive line is one of the best in the country. So I just think that's an enormous step up in class. Concern I have, obviously, on the Michigan side is they really don't have a passing game. Washington did run a bear front against Rutgers last week, last Friday night in a game they should have won, honestly, just not respecting Rutgers pass and Kelly McManus passing attack there and shut down Kyle Manung guy, who's a fantastic running back for Rutgers, by the way.

Michigan's Game Strategy

So can Michigan, you know, take advantage in the passing game through the RPos? That, that's a really big question. The thing is everything kind of comes down to the number. And I can understand if you wanted to take Washington at something like pick or something like that. But in a game with a total of 41, I just think that it's just too valuable to grab the three if it's available.

Final Betting Perspective

I mean, I make the game Washington -0.58 according to my power numbers. So I had to take the three. So give me the Wolverines. In what should be a coin flip game on Saturday night. I put a teaser together for college football and I was going to run it by you earlier and I forgot that, forgot to ask you, but I pretty much just took the two game early games for the week and the IU game, and I threw them together in a seven point teaser.

Teaser Strategy

I took a Troy plus the 13, Sam Houston minus ten, IU -14 and a seven point teaser. I got it for plus 130 on DK. What did you think about that? So, generally speaking, I'm, and I don't mean to, you know, crap on your bed or anything. I would generally say that teasing college football is very poor with like two exceptions, which would be like Iowa games with their total of sub 34.

Final Thoughts on Teasing

And same thing with service academy games, Navy, Air Force, when they play each other. I don't know if I didn't come in on this, you know, calls or grab the seat on you with my college football game, but this would be the ideal one because they're all directly down. I feel like this just actually show the odds completely with it's the best overall strategy to win college football teasers at this point.

Impact of Weather on Game Totals

Like those super low total games or games that just have like crazy high winds because rain, unless it's like a monsoon, really doesn't affect totals that much. In fact, games, it's a wind. So maybe if there are some high winds there biggest thing with nets are those you want across some key numbers. So you're saying you got seven here on those games? Just kind of looking at the market, I'm assuming you got Indiana below the key of seven since most of the market's 13. You got Sam Houston, you know, probably right around minus three, depending on where you got that. I know Sam Houston's like minus ten right now against UTep. And then Troy, you probably got that up to 20. I mean, generally speaking. Yeah, you know, those are great numbers to have individually on all three of those games. That's the thing is with college football is just that there's a traditionally more variance and teams can be more up and down week to week.

Discussion on Teasers and Dark Horses

So teasers aren't necessarily plus ev in college with, generally speaking, with all that, of course, you know that very well could win. And, you know, it's something that, you know, I'll be rooting for you, but generally, but like I said, generally speaking, I wouldn't own it. Tease college football. By the way, and this goes for Bob or Sean, especially in the twelve team playoff. There's more of a chance that you know, a dark horse can win the national championship. What is kind of your biggest dark horse this year, Bob? So I'm going to ask a question as far ask a question back. Define dark horse. I was just going to say, like. Yeah, beyond. Yeah, like beyond Georgia, Ohio State and Texas, you know, is that kind of where you're going with beyond those top three? Yeah, and I'm pulling up the odds board right now.

Group of Five Teams' Chances

Okay. So kind of just overarching, you know, a team like Boise State or someone like that, who's going to be the group of five representative, they stand basically zero chance they're never going to have the talent to win, you know, similar to the NCAA tournament in basketball, where a bunch of teams can win four games to make the final four, but it's very hard for a team to win six to actually win the tournament. That's how I think the college football expanded. College football playoffs going to work out as well, where a team like a Boise state, who's a really good group of five team, they'll be, yeah, sure, they can maybe, you know, spring an upset, you know, in one game, but they're never going to be able to win the four games required to constantly beat and win a title. So dark horse is kind of hard. So that's going to be something where the team still has to have a certain talent level to be that.

Potential Dark Horse Teams

So teams that would qualify under that are outside of that top group, you would say a Miami Florida. They have a really soft schedule. They're going to be favored in all their games. Now, they do have a tricky spot this Saturday night against Cal, but that would be a team you could potentially look at. Penn State's another team. I really like that the offensive coordinator hire Andrew Colton. Nikki, I've seen some good things with that offense. If they continue to cook and continue to improve there, that would be a team that, talent wise, makes sense as a team that could win a title. If they put everything together now, will they have to get fortunate to do so? Yes, but those would be kind of like the limit of dark horses, you know, that's going to be that 2nd, 3rd tier of team, not, you know, the fourth, 5th or 6th, you know, or something like that.

Analysis of Dominant Teams

In terms of college football, just, it's too hard to overcome having to try to beat a Georgia, a Texas and Ohio State or an Alabama, you know, in consecutive games over and over again. I. I am actually 100% with you on that. You said to the teams that I, or at least one of the teams I heard you say one team you left off. I mean, I'm Alabama, I believe is. It's not a dark horse, by no means, but until I can see Jaden Melro, just not be as excellent as he's been this year, I just don't, I don't. I don't see Alabama losing. I think they got the best shot. But as far as dark horses go, I like the Penn State look you gave. I also like Tennessee. I mean, I. I don't know what it is about Tennessee is I think that, you know, they got a good shot as well, just with the playoffs the way they are.
