Behind the Mic

It’s it. It. Hi everyone. Ravikan gmgm hi karam I tb I ravi. Hello. Hello anamika. Hi Karim I gmgm Anamika. Ravi. Hello hello hi everyone. Good morning gmgm Hi, Ravi Khan Good morning good morning everyone. Hi Ravi Ravikan in the house. Hello PB. Okay, I think we can begin. Anamika from Bharat box here and I’m really glad to welcome everyone to this space. This is for our recently announced third Season of Bharat box in collaboration with Sandra locally on eSports League. It’s been a couple of good events and exciting things happening. Recently we have got Karan with us as well as Sebastien and Ravi Khan to talk about how Bharat box as well as the Indian Gaming communities are accelerating about adoption and how we are going to push metaverse to next level as well. So, Karan. I see you had a recent event go to WebExpo. How did it go for you? Anything that you would like to share? Hey, thanks. Thanks no real pleasure. Glad to be here. Glad to be a part of the Botboc India space. So super excited to see what’s going on in the Bharat box as well. That also brings me to another question. You know, when we are talking about the ecosystems, I’m sure that across the ecosystems there are many potential gamers who wanted to experience games across different ecosystems, right? However, the user experience still is not very smooth when a gamer is working on, let’s say, chain one compared to a chain two. And that’s where I think there have been several attempts. Whether it is bringing in the aggregation layer chain abstraction, interoperability in order to fix in the fragmented user experience and would like to again pick brain for Shabbat Karan just wanted to understand how are you seeing this in gaming space and anything that you particularly finding it interesting in order to fix that fragmented gamers experience. I think it’s really a common theme and the whole blockchain gaming industry is like agreeing account abstraction among as well as layer two solution really facilitate the onboarding of new users to opening a wallet without even sometimes knowing about it and being able to acquire crypto and spend crypto seamlessly and use gas less transaction as well to support it and deliver the speed that’s on par with more relational databases and traditional web two gaming and the blockchain like Polygon have been able for sandbox to deliver to all that expectation. So that’s why with two years already we chose to build on Polygon. And right now everything you on the sandbox platform, from lands, from avatars, from the user generated content assets are minted on Polygon and transacting on Polygon. And we’ve seen it really facilitate so much the onboarding and adoption from various creators in our community. It’s been very seamless for them. I think the we all aim to our simplicity both in the language we are using, both in the technical solution that we’re using. At some point sandbox will also announce new partnership that continue to simplify life of users and developers, no matter who they are and where they come from in the world, and making like maybe even way more easy to obtain the certain permit and certain papers, by example to become a recognized studio in the creator fund of sandbox as well. That’s great Karan, thank you for walking us through it. It’s it’s really exciting to hear that everything’s working well on Polygon and crosschain work is On in sandbox and would love to see what other things are coming up. I do agree that there are certain barriers at times and I think that brings up to another point that I wanted to check. You know there are a lot of developers out there who are finding blockchain I’m sure there must be a lot of initiatives from your side as well in accelerating that process or maybe onboarding you know quite first time new joiners to developer. So what has been the things that we’ve been taking place? Any ones that, you know, you are particularly proud of any developer which you are seeing has done some promising work overall? Yeah, we’ve definitely been seeing a large number of Indian talent that’s been like accelerating and being supported by us.I would name one or two. But overall, it’s really been one of the most thriving community. We are 23,000 creators overall out of 70,000 creators in total in half Asia and mostly Indian. So it’s definitely been growing a lot as a talent pool and we’re very happy to have that diversity to recognize, like even like woman in blockchain and talent and different ethnicities etc. Brands wise, there’s been also great case of like I’m proud of you have to recognize and notice Locator standing. So Loka as well like listed as one of the first Indian metaverses on Polygon building and onboarding user for over and Yeah definitely we are very proud of like the generation and it’s happening on both layer of like technical level developers as well as Creators are individuals creating amazing games, content experiences overall for the platform. So yeah. Amazing Karan. That’s great to hear and thank you for sharing the names you know our best. Like be to continue to see the jaw drop in performance you know across all forms of creators and again you know when you are mentioning about the diversity. That brings into another question about the diversity in the metaverse and with Sandbox being a proponent of it and showcasing the diverse use cases in approaching to the metaverse. How are you seeing? I mean you know the response you already see that most of the creators or the developer base are really happy. But from the players standpoint, have you seen the things comparatively growing on pace. Absolutely. I think we have over 4 million registered wallets on the sandbox platform over 2 million. And it’s still only the beginning largely because the media is just talking about the metaverse and a few early examples of game experiences use cases in fashion, sports, culture. Arts and more. But overall it’s Yeah an industry is which is similar to Webfree which is very nascent and there are a lot of things we’re going to be improving over the next couple of months. So the four million now are experiencing 5 to 10 thousand daily users and across multiple platforms that we’re working with where itself typically in the blockchain gaming space. You are seeing on 50 to 150,000 monthly active users. So it’s 10x of the rest of the blockchain gaming space. It’s I think one of the largest used platform games, but still growing from here. With really optimism after first coming soon and lots of other things being announced but then and then. And easier sometimes challenge. No doubt. Yeah Sebastien, I’m really curious to understand HOW do you feel about the current phase of metaverse adoption? As one of the pioneer leaders driving this innovation with the sandbox, what are your thoughts on the trajectory of Metaverse Adoption and how is Sandbox preparing itself for the future of gaming? Yeah, thanks a lot for the question Ravi Khan indeed I’m very excited like how fast it’s all been going and the level of innovation ideas that have been shared with us. We have a large number of projects we are reviewing in our next quarter. We have started releasing our roadmap also to our DAO members. So we are keeping everything very transparent to them and to our larger community as well. And you know, it’s you can feel the energy like when you’re in some of the events that we’re hosting in some of the Like both the physical and virtual panel discussion meetings, you get to see who is actually working towards building the best experiences and also our diversity overall where our 10,000 DAO members are coming from. Many people might join us thinking they’re mainly from Asia or mainly from Europe. But you’d be surprised to see and the growing trend across from our large volume of users from US from rest of the world, it’s just extraordinary to see that the voice and the globalized perspective. So I think the future that we want to see next, like our product evolution on AI on the immersion, on extending to even medical healthcare, science and geographic reach. I think lots of things being shared. Yeah, I think it’s a great trajectory and I’m very optimistic about the next iterations of this product onboarding. Yeah, this is a fascinating insight. Thank you for sharing. Now the final thing that I wanted to highlight would be on the support from the Board level partnership you mentioned before, but wanna get a bit deeper because we all know that every ecosystem requires nurturing for its growth. Can you speak on any partnership initiatives or strategic alliances that Sandbox is focusing on currently? Great question. Ravi indeed. We are counting more than 400 partnerships overall which is really in various space working for the onboarding of talent creators. Those include, you know, like Ubisoft, Warner Music, Ledger, Gucci and sports organization including brands you will recognize like Adida, we have been very selective about which brand partnerships we announce. The last big one we announced is like Sephora and that was a collaboration across like virtual makeup users for creator I think Korean makeup artist represented their makeup in the space for some brand. And that brought tremendous response and feedback from our users as well. So I think we continue to focus on and bring brands across new geographies, new verticals that are yet to be top. I think definitely we are seeing growing attention from brands in even healthcare now, which people, which industries have largely been untapped till now. I think super exciting as well need support issues And many things are there like undocumented on our roadmap, we try to bring them more into the WORK we are doing. I’m definitely very excited for the rest of the year rollout being shared at the next SAND price event in November. Let’s hope a lot more for community. Thanks a lot, Sebastien and Karan for your valuable insights. We have some amazing questions from our community and thank you for everyone asking them. I am aware we have limited time and would love to take more questions. But for now, let’s dive right in. Anamika, I want to pass it back to you for Q and a. Thanks a lot. Thank you ravi. So yes, lots of questions to pick, and I think I see a lot of people asking about the user incentives, particularly how Sandbox is boosting the rewards pool this is to Sebastien. Any plans or initiatives you wanna highlight? Well, yes, that’s always like a great, well-received question. I love it. We as promised before and again, by the way, Thanks everyone for being so patient about Rolling ’em out our rewards and season 1-2-3 as planned. Even Gooper and others, We’ve been fulfilling and aiming for continuing the season E mode with more unique experiences Season 3 brought with it house events. We are going to be on rolling out from Season Four as well. Hence we have created newer ways for user interactions. So gamifying this reward concept more aiming for 100% completion from community as in Baba’s Quest and really proud again of the loyalty and the patience shown. So stay tuned. Once we are ready to roll out all our next season We will be sharing updates regularly on our portal and definitely I would say this season for will be Bigger rewards both on meetups, houses, Ufo to events etc and many others as well on the incentivized hierarchy So hold on for it and let your buddy communities know. But yes, rest be assured There’s a lot more coming up for our loyalty base Anything else from your site to be wanted to add on this? No no great reply thank you Sebastien so moving on maybe next one I think we can wrap up soon, Priyanka or maybe one one thing wanted to ask from you mentioned about the meetups.
