Behind the Mic

Introduction and Welcoming

It. Yo, yo. What up, everybody? Happy Thursday. Happy uptober. Happy fucking time to get dusted. Happy jack O'lantern season. Happy fucking gobbles and ghouls and all kinds of scary shit season. Hope y'all are doing good today. Drew be two shoes, are you with us or are you rugging? So far, so good, I think. So far, so good. Let's go. We are up. We are up. Well, welcome. Where. Where are you calling in from right now? You know, where in the world is Drew be, are you in a car? Are you in a warehouse? Are you in an elevator? Are you heading to the roof? You know, like, where. Where are you at right now?

Location and Dining Experience

I'm in warehouse. Warehouse one right now. Just made myself some microwavable pulled pork and having a good time. Having a good time. Well, that sounds fire. I just threw some meatballs in the oven for my family so they can eat while I do this. It's always good. Easiest distraction is just give people food. That way they're happy. Exactly, exactly. pyra, welcome. welcome to stage. You there. Ring, ring, ring. It's Peter. What's going on today? Oh, you know, just another day in paradise, as, would say. Yeah. How's the coding coming along? Every. Every day I talk to Jesse. He's just, like, busy, bro, coding. I'm busy, bro coding. So he's busy, he's coding.

Current Work and Busy Lifestyle

Lots of stuff happening here. We're managing marketing campaigns, we're writing code, we're doing giveaways, we're hosting space. You know, it's a, you know, busy times 2020 5th century person right here. You know, some duck dodger stuff. But, hey, that's what. That's what founder life's about. You know, we do it all. You know, there's no task too small. There's no task too big. We. We figure them all out, and we keep it moving. Ain't no mountain high, no valley low type of thing. Exactly. Also, I learned a lot from our last chop it up, everyone. Share the space, type some bullshit in the little button in the corner for the algorithm or going to end it early. That is a threat. It's a true story.

Engagement and Recommendations

That is a good call, sirs. Yeah, I always. I know to do that, but I never remember to do that because I'm post. Yeah. We're learning. We are growing. That is what it's about. You know, I see you. See you chuckling out there. Creative days. Oscar, what's good? How you doing? Creative. Pretty fire seeing you chipping your art. Love it. We're all out here building. but anyways, I wanted to get us started with little tweet. I just put out do. Do filibuster music while I go over and grab it. Boom. It is officially October. October, fucking insane. To, goons holders.

Discussion on Recent Trends

Rock and goons pfps. Cooter doodle. Sorry. Who we all know and love used to mod with us freaking there from, like, day one with goons still rocking her goon shout out, cooterdoodle. And then the fantasy sauce. Who? I actually. I don't. I don't actually know fantasy sauce, so if anyone does know them, please jump up on stage and pull them in or something. The two of these motherfuckers ripped off 1 million plus view tweets in the last four days. They went, like, I. You know, I've got a. I've got a little 201 under my belt, you know, no big deal. But fucking a million, like, dang.

Observations on the Viral Tweets

Like, that is some serious numbers. And these tweets are, like, absolutely hilarious. If you're into football or fantasy football at all. I mean, the. The pudding. What's his name? Rashi Rice. This is a football player. His name is Rashi Rice. He just tore his ACL. And the fantasy sauce here put a picture of Rashi Rice into a bag of basmati rice on his phone to see if he could revive the old me. And, I mean, it's absolutely hilarious. And this thing just ripped. Like, the fantasy sauce doesn't even have a following. Like, this is actually what's cool about x these days. And the algorithm, I do think, is actually getting better.

On Social Media Engagement

Or maybe I've just muted all the things I really hate and despise. All the noise. I think I've muted all of it by now. Pro tip. Mute the words Ukraine, Russia, Elon, trump, kamala. These are great words to mute. They will make your timeline way more enjoyable and less full of nonsense. I really don't like political Twitter. It's just so noisy. But anyways, I digress. Yeah. So the fantasy sauce here, this Mandev, I assume man could be a girl, I don't know, has 470 followers and ripped off a million plus view tweet. That is the dream.

The Impact of Virality

You can go from having not much of a following to just an absolute banger. Literally, so many brands were in his DM's and in the replies on the tweet saying, could we reshare it? Cooterdoodle's tweet. I got so many goons reaching out, sending me the Bleacher Report reshared that one on Instagram and a couple different places. So many goons were like, goons. PFP is on bleacher report’s Instagram. So sick. Yeah. So it's really dope to see.

Excitement Around Community Engagement

Dope to see. Yeah. I'll throw it over to you, Pierre, Drew, if you guys have anything you want to add in. No, I just think it's sick because it's like, I feel like the start of a lot of the people that found out about goons was from kind of the fantasy best ball, etc. Etc. And I know, minus the fact that I'm getting cooked, everyone's having a good time in the goons leagues and shit. So shout out, car. Putting that all together. So it's just funny to see these just absolutely fucking rip and just how it's like these are both like purely organic.

Community Appreciation

Like, neither of them are like buying ads or doing anything like that. We just have funny motherfuckers in our community and skilled motherfuckers in our community, artistic motherfuckers in our community. So it's dope to see some of that shit go. Yeah, dude. Like, oh, go, Pierre. Oh, I was going to say I actually reached out to the fantasy sauce in the DM's because I'm kind of getting together a little hockey fantasy pool to go for the NHL season. We're going to start it next week just like a few games into the season just to have some time to gather some people.

Planning New Initiatives

But I figured we would get somebody with the quick wit out there on the ice with us, so to speak. And he obliged. So anybody who is looking to very interested in joining something like that just hit me up. Hell yeah. Love that. And we really do have some funny in this community of ours. I mean, Cooter, she, this is not her first rodeo going viral. She has just hilarious bangers all the time. Like, it's only a matter of time before she's at 100k plus followers. And then her account is just like massive and known for like one of the big memers in the spit in the sports space because like she's so consistent and so just so naturally funny.

Acknowledgment of Creative Work

I was. I've even like, seen some of her old viral tweets from like years ago and they just all cracked me up. So, yeah, shout out. Shout out to the fam. Crushing it in the streets. but hey, hockey, I think we're, I think that's a solid segue there. I mean, we're doing something with hockey or something, right? Like, I'm not sure, though. What's up with that? Getting dusted. Just like all those old NFT projects that got left on the sidelines and left your wallet dusted. We're gonna.

Upcoming Collaborations

We're gonna put some dusters that are worth something in your wallet. I mean, we're not gonna put it in there. You have to buy it still. But, you know, words. Maybe we'll put some out there. Who knows? Who knows? Maybe we'll be nice. I mean, yeah, the word duster or dust has like a lot of meaning in crypto, but like, it's actually like a hilarious phrase people use in hockey a lot actually. Like in high school, me and my friends would make fun of all the, like, sporty jock people who would use it.

Reflections on Community Culture

And then like, I think we made fun of them so much that we just kind of adopted saying it. Like, fucking dusters. Like, it's like, you know, it's funny when you hate on something so much you kind of become it. But that's kind of the beauty and the fun of it too, because it's fun to be a team against another team in any. In any group. You know, it's fun having your community and your jokes against other communities and other jokes. So it's good times. But yeah.

Upcoming NFT Drop Announcement

Anyways, we've got, in collaboration with crypto.com nft, we are dropping an opening night. Our opening night, but also the NHL's opening night October 8 next to. So that's on Tuesday. We are Amir. Four days away or five. No, five days away. Sorry. I tweeted about it today. We're mere five days away. We're dropping the dusters. and you can draw. I pinned up the tweet up top. It's got a whole rundown.

Media and Content Creation

and Sean absolutely fucking cooked on the trailer up top. it's so funny. If you haven't watched the whole thing, make sure you watch the whole thing. There's a little outtake at the end. you know, and I think Sean, I mean, we got to. Somebody ping Sean. See, he's around. Get him up here. But, I already did. Don't you worry. All right, everyone go tweet it. Everyone. Okay, everyone in the bottom right corner for the little purple button. Everyone in their copy. Pasta. Where the f is Sean?

Light-hearted Team Spirit

I got one better. I'm gonna put Sean's number in there and then everyone start texting him. Yo, I don't even have Sean's number. Geez. You're about to. You're about to. We're about to mint that shit. Put it on chain. Baby can remove that. That's called permanence. But Sean absolutely fucking cooked on this trailer. It's so, it's so funny. And I think he had a lot of fun with it because it's like a movie trailer, you know, and he, you know, he likes getting creative like that and it's, it's hilarious.

Introduction to the Discussion

So if you haven't watched that, jump in there and watch that. But, yeah, first, I'm going to kick it over to you, Pierre, just to talk initial thoughts about this drop and kind of like what it means to you and that. And then, after we get into some commentary there, we'll kind of talk a little bit more in depth of the details and like sort of the thought behind it and blah, blah.

Experiencing Technical Difficulties

All right. I was just like getting ready to turn the mic on and I stood up and my headphones caught like the handle on the drawer and ripped under my ears. So that's a good way to start the dusters. I mean, it's awesome to see this happen. Crypto.com is like one of the first places that I kind of got into crypto. You know, I, I mean, way back when it was like the ICO with Monaco, I remember when they announced that they were crypto.com, i, you know, as soon as they got their credit card available, I got it.

Journey with Crypto.com

So I've been like at arm's length with it, you know, the whole time that I've been here. But ever since nfTs, I kind of like took this other path and, you know, the first ever community goons event that I was involved with was at the crypto.com arena. Jesse, I don't know if you remember, like way back. That's the first time that we ever talked little, you know, little different affiliation with, you know, the arena and the NFT project. But just to kind of be in a position now where I'm working with you guys and, you know, to be a part of it and, you know, to sit in on, you know, some of the discussions and, you know, shoot the shit with you guys and, you know, tossing ideas back and forth, it was a really cool process and big hockey guy and just, I think you guys are going to be really, you know, delighted and have a good laughter when you see exactly what you guys all get here.

Memories from the Past

It's pretty funny. Yeah. Well said on. I absolutely 1000% remember that community event, my friend I remember talking to you in the DM's, like, it was back in, like, the absolute heyday, and I was, like, asking you to verify, like, that you were a real human. I was like, send me your fucking flight itinerary. I was being real. I think I was being a little bit too much, but, you know, it was, like, crazy. Crazy. Well, I mean, there was. There was so many scams going around, and I was just, like, some random person, just a random name in the discord, you know, verified with a goon.

Addressing the Scams

But besides that, you know, who knows? And I was asking people for money. It was, like, warfare to keep the scammers out of the discord back then. And you were like, you wanted to, like, post this thing, like, to collect money and stuff. And I was like, oh, my God, like, if I get, like, everyone fucked here, like. Yeah. So I can assure you guys, from day one, I have had every opportunity to scam people, and I never have, so y'all can trust me. Yeah, but it was sick. You got a whole group together to go to a la Kings game at the crypto.com arena.

The Experience at the Game

I think you even got, like, a. Did you guys get on, like, a group photo, like, near the ice or on the ice? I don't even know. So the group photo actually came a few months later when I helped the long lost plan their LA event. Got it. And then we had enough people. We had 60 people there for their event. Goddamn. Yeah. It was a banger. Yeah, I mean, that's. That's Pyrrha right there. Like, he's the ultimate connector. Like, he knows everybody, and people fuck with Pyrrha, like, hard.

Praise for Pyrrha

So, I mean. Oh, Art Basel, Jesse. Art Basel. You guys don't even know. So that's. That's why we love Pyrrha. And he's been doing it literally, since the day one of nfts, pretty much. He was right there in the discord not that long after mint. So shout out Pyrrha. Drew, kick it over to you. What are your thoughts on working with crypto.com and. And doing this, getting dusted on Tuesday next week?

Drew's Excitement about Crypto.com

Yeah, definitely. I think, like, I've definitely seen a couple people be like, why crypto.com or this or that? And I think one thing that we've done really well and will continue to do really well is align ourselves with people that just have a good, strong positioning in web three, but also have a good, strong positioning with the more Normie crowd. And, you know, there are a ton of wallets and a ton of chains and stuff like that. Not many of them do professional sports teams play in the stadium name after it.

Crypto.com's Unique Position

And I think that, you know, shows that they're obviously doing things right and getting brand awareness and things like that. They have, you know, massive amount of users and email lists and a lot of connections and they have been great to work with, so, and if you were in New York for NFT NYC, they help sponsor those events. So being able to collab and make something cool with these type of companies, I think is super important just for us and the growth of the brand and then even on, like, the community side, like, we've talked to and met a bunch of cool people over there and I feel like there's, you know, some resonance of the underdog or, you know, we all know that there's times where we're like, we're not getting as much shine as we should be.

The Community Connection

And I feel like there's definitely people on that side that also think things should be bigger over there. So it's kind of cool to be able to just work with people that are all kind of trying to do the same thing. So that's why we chose them. And I'm personally super stoked on it because so far, you know, New York, they were super hyped on. Hopefully this goes well, they can be super hyped on this and then we can just keep doing cool shit with, like I said, somebody that, you know, has the naming rights to a stadium.

Future Prospects with Crypto.com

So I think there's a lot of interesting potential as long as we keep crushing shit on our end. Hell yeah. Well said, Yin. Yeah. No, back to nft NYC if you're at our event there. We, we had some crypto.com banners up. You know, the alpha was there. We, we gave away some hockey pucks and put them all over New York City, too. We actually have some pretty cool content coming about that, but I actually do want to actually give a shout out to creative days and Sean, who helped tag team, creating all those pucks.

Shoutouts to Creative Team

Sean created the stencil and he broke his, what was it? His leg. Right? I mean, God damn, it was such shit luck. Everyone was like, oh, fake news. And then we saw Sean. I think Drew saw in person is like, oh, yeah, nope, that's pretty real. Literally slipped. Going to take his trash out. But, Motherfucker. so Sean shipped down a stencil and some paint and of course, it wasn't working quite as planned. So creative days, me, piro like, we're trekking around looking for spray paint, trying to figure out how we're going to make these pucks.

Challenges in Making the Pucks

Oh, yeah. And we got, like, hundreds of pucks shipped to us from Amazon. So, like, we have hundreds of pucks and a fucking stencil that's, like, not working, but kind of working. And we need to figure out how to put some. Some clickable links on these things. And so, yeah, it was pretty sick. Really whipped it all together. Creative was spray painting like a motherfucker on this stencil. It was. It was challenging. Challenging work, I tell you. Actually. Literally. Very challenging.

A Memorable Experience

And the dude just banged through it. Creative. If you want to come up, we'd actually love to hear the story, but. Yeah, I love how the. Remember how the bartender just kind of, like, let us took over their entire patio? Like, nobody was there, thankfully. But we're, like, out on the bar just, like, trying not to spray paint on their tables and everything? It was pretty funny. Exactly. They were, like, love it, too, actually. They had no, like, very little understanding of web three, but they were like, what is all this?

Bartender's Positive Reaction

What is goons world? This is sick. Like, we want to be a part of it. Well, the owner, like, the bartender, she even, like, gave us, like, she's like, yo, like, you guys should throw an event on the roof here. Like, we would definitely be down to, like, host you guys. Like, so we're like, holy crap. So maybe one day we'll be back on that roof, but, yeah. Hey, what's going on, creative? Do you want to talk a little bit about spray painting those pucks and what it was like?

Setting the Scene for Creative Days

But before creative days comes in here and tells you a jaded version of the story, I want to say that, like, it took us forever to do, like, the first, like, 1520 pucks. And then, like, maybe went outside, maybe we enjoyed a little left handed cigarette. I don't know, but, like, I feel like we came back in, and he just, like, whipped out some spray cans. Like it was the wild west, and just. And then all of the pucks were just done. I just turned around, and it was over.

Creative Days Reflects on the Action

So is that how it happened for you, Diaz? Yeah, actually, rebud flour is, like my spinach. Like Popeye, you know? So I. It just, like, got me going, man. I think we needed that break, but, yeah, man, it was. It was challenging. I'll say. The. What Sean provided us was not working. It was. It was kind of tough. It was just not working.

Frustrations with Supplies

It was, like, a small, little roller with some acrylic paint, and it just was not working. It wasn't. The paint was just not staying on there either. So then, you know, me and Jesse went to a hardware store. We got some spray paint, whatever spray paint we could have found, you know, like we found there. That was a goddamn adventure. We had to go, like, to, like, the absolute depths of a basement of a hardware.

The Quest for Proper Supplies

Oh, yeah. Yeah. We had to go to the basement to look for the spray paint. That was pretty wild. I've never been to a hardware store like that. Interesting. So, yeah, we found the white that we needed for the puck. We ended up going back, started spraying them. The spray paint on the stencil starts getting a little tacky and thick because of so much spraying. So we had to, like, you know, wipe it off a little bit and let it kind of settle and dry for a little bit.

The Spray Painting Process

And that's why I think it, at first, it was taking a little while. Also, the stencils were not coming out perfectly. But then I guess they all looked very unique and different. and I guess, you know, we just went with it and, took that smoke break, came back, and I said, screw it. Let's, let's just bang these out as fast as possible. yeah, I was, that was a lot of fun. It got kind of hot.

An Enjoyable Experience

I know New York was cold, but I think, right where were at, they turned on those heaters. I was wearing a sweater and everything, and I had to take it off because, just spraying that got me going, man. but, yeah, it was a lot of fun. It was cool. the people at the bar was, were really nice and humble. Really cool meeting them.

Engaging with the Bartenders

We tried getting all the information out of Jesse at that moment, what the pucks were about, but, were close, but he noticed that we couldn't do it, so he kept shut. So good job, Jesse, on keeping that secret till now. but, yeah, man, that was a lot of fun. I appreciate you guys even having me a part of that. So that was really cool. Shout out to sean for the artwork.

Gratitude and Final Thoughts

And, you know, he's a g man, so I'm humbled and honored to even be a part of that. Hell, yeah. Thanks for telling that story, man. And, yeah, it was a lot of fun. And I was actually sitting next to creative days, like, coding the website that, like, you would land on when you scan it. So it was our true physical, digital collaboration right there.

Collaboration Highlights

That's what's fun. You know, that's what we're always doing here. Goons world, like, literally, was that organized. Like, right at the moment or you guys already knew about this? No. Yeah, we knew about, like, that was the plan starting then. And it was like, how do we put a little teaser, some little teasers out there, start seeding the idea and create some really cool content.

Planning and Content Creation

We actually, you'll see it later, but we sent Pyrrha and, we sent Pura and, Lord trivia to, a double header, Yankee game and Rangers game, to take the pucks around. So you'll see some cool content coming later from all that. But, yeah, we wanted to get some really cool content, and really show off that, like, you know, we're building here in person in New York City, and this stuff takes a time to, like, put together.

Building in New York City

You know, like, this drop took a while to come together and it, you know, the preparations happen early and so, yeah, super dupe, super dope. And if you do have a puck, make sure you hit that QR code I have left. I left it open because, you know, you got a couple stragglers out there, you know, make sure you scan that QR code.

Final Instructions

Reserve your seat. it's safe. It's from us, from me. You're safe, I promise. but, yeah, make sure you reserve your seat. Cool. So, let's talk more about the actual drop. Let me repin that back up. So. All right, so we're dropping Tuesday details about the timing and everything and price and all that good stuff that'll come out tomorrow.

Upcoming Drop Details

So keep your eyes out for that. But, yeah, basically the idea is that everyone who mints will be able to claim for a physical redemption. We think that's always just like, a super fun way to experience these drops. You know, we really pride ourselves on storytelling and bringing to life a drop like this.

Storytelling Through Drops

And the art that Shawn cooked up is fucking hilarious. There's some great little Easter eggs in the art, some maybe even community references. And then also, like, he just had some really funny ideas for the art and it's so good. And so, yeah, you guys are going to really enjoy opening that up.

Enjoyment in Unveiling

What's kind of fun, too, is it's like a pack break experience. So each nft that you mint comes, like, wrapped in a pack and then you open up the pack. So that'll be really dope, fun kind of way to reveal, instantly reveal your artwork there and then. Yeah, so we have our stadium store is fully stocked.

Stadium Store Preparedness

I just pinned that one up. So there's all kinds of different items. Several of the items are kind of just based on chance, based on the more you have in your wallet, the more likely you are to win the with doper items. And then, like, the top grail items, there are two foot. There's a two foot long goldie sticks, that will be custom hand painted by Sean.

Exclusive Items Available

And if you meant one of the one ones, you will. You will receive one of these goalie sticks. And the stick is going to be, painted in theme of your one of one. And these one of ones are so fucking hilarious, too. They're so good. And so, yeah, that's gonna be absolutely crazy.

Unique Accessories

And then the top ten holders of the collection will receive a hand painted, custom hand painted hockey card with different characters from the dusters team onto those cards. And so you've kind of seen, we previewed a. Some of the cards and stuff that Shawn's been cooking on here. I pinned that up there.

Upcoming Previews and Physical Items

Super sick. We actually, he's already created a couple of these, so you're going to start seeing previews of some of the stuff early next week. And then, like, as mint goes on, we're going to keep teasing some more of the physical stuff. And I think that's actually a great point for me to take it over to drew here to talk a little bit more about the redemptions and the physical goods and some of that stuff.

Exciting Items and Strategy Changes

Yeah, definitely. So got a couple items. Not gonna say what they are yet, but one might be a hockey jersey. And basically whether you get one or none, like Jesse said, everybody gets something. So stoked on that. We also are changing up the strategy for this one, seeing how it goes. So we basically pre made everything so that everything can go out with haste, as they say. So we're excited to try out this technique as we continue to work out different ways to do these mentor redeem activations and make some cool art and get some physical items in y'all's hand and make the user experience as best as possible. So pretty excited to try all this out. And, yeah, we'll see. See how it all goes.

Lessons Learned and Improved Processes

See how it all goes. We'll find out. We might end up just being stuck with a bunch of shit. So if so, we might change the strategy again. You could say we might get dusted. True, true. I do plan on spending most of whatever it is on galaxy gas before they take it all off the shelves. So bringing that down to Miami, too. Oh, man. Yeah. The galaxy house all of the goods. That will be available have been pre made. There's a few of the art items that Sean will be working on in the meantime as well, but he has all the support. So one of the things that we've improved upon this time around is.

Improvements in Art Item Creation

Is, like, we had Sean actually, like, test creating some of these physical items. We learned our lesson big time from previous renditions, where we didn't have him try it until after, and it turned out a lot harder, especially when there was way too many of them. Oh, yeah, that's the. I think besides even the testing, it's more just the fact that it's, like, hard coded how many there would be. So it's not like we can be surprised. And all of a sudden, it's like, oh, we estimated there would be ten, but it was actually 83. Now it's just like, these are how many they are, and that's how many they are.

Expectations for Future Drops

Definitely. Definitely. We learned. We've learned a lot. And I think what's cool is you'll see doodles is now doing a lot of this kind of similar stuff. I think, you're gonna see chimpers is starting to do some of this stuff. Like, it's, like, I think, actually a big movement in the space. and it's just, like, a really fun way to experience, drops, you know, like, it makes it way more fun, way more interesting. We all know the pack ripping is, like, just such a fun experience. Yeah.

Sean's Entry and Humor in the Team

Can I interrupt you really quick? I'm sorry. Yeah, what's good? Sean's about to come in here, and everyone on stage. As soon as he gets on stage, unmute and just start clapping. You got it. You got it. If I can find the clap button. I meant, like, with your hands. And we used to do that when people would come in to work. If anybody came in after 25 minutes, everyone would stop working and clap for them and then thank them for showing up. It's such a pleasantly passive aggressive thing to do.

Late Clapping and Company Culture

I love. Yeah. You know, ten years later, running the biz, I don't know if it would fly with some of these young guns. You know, everyone's gotten a little soft, so I had to. Had to cut the. You know, that was back in the day, but, you know. You're saying HR has officially banned the late clapping? Yes. Yes. It was. It was too insensitive. Oh, well, you know, we get it. You know, it's tough out there. That was the sound of a snowflake breaking. Yeah, well, us old guys, you know, we're supposedly tough, I guess, huh?

Excitement for Upcoming Experiences

All right, fire. Yeah. So anyway, super stoked for this experience. And yeah, you'll just keep following the, turn the notifications on. There's a lot more content coming. Teasing out some of the different items and, yeah, should be sick. Also, while we're on it, let me bring it back up to the top. We launched a giveaway today for a, an OG kryptoon goon, hockey stick toting and pumpkin fucking necklace wearing. I mean, come on.

Exciting Giveaways and NFT Details

Like, am I fucking good or what? That's a crazy rare goon. October, October, hockey season starting. I mean, that's the perfect combo of traits right there. Even with the beanie too, it's so crispy. Got the gloves too. It's like it was made for this. It really was. It really was. And I had to, you know, we had to give this one away. We had to. So, yeah, everybody who's here, make sure you get in on this. Jump up onto that tweet.

Participate in the Giveaway

Retweet that tweet. Make sure you're following goons, of course, all you are. So I don't even have to mention that part. And then I. The last criteria is you need to sign up for a crypto.com account. But not just the crypto. Like, this is where I think people are going to get confused. Go to crypto.com nFt, register, like slash nFt and register there. It's so much easier because if you try to register for actual crypto.com, like the exchange, you have to upload your driver's license and KYC and all this complications, way fucking harder.

Registering for Crypto.com NFT

And if in your, in New York, like, you're not allowed to, like, it's like total, you know, if you want to trade crypto on there, go. Go ahead. That's obviously fine. But to participate in this drop, all you have to do is go to crypto.com NFT and create an account there and you're good to go. And then when the drop stuff begins, you'll be able to pay and credit card, and then a whole list of cryptocurrencies they support on their website. So it's super easy to participate.

Technical Details and NFTs

And these NFTs are actually so behind the scenes. The NFTs are on CRO, they're Chronos, which is their native blockchain. And so you'll be able to take it out of the platform too, if you want, right into your wallet. So super easy. So anyways, head up to the tweet. Make sure you get involved. These hockey goons, they go, I mean, the floor pure probably doesn't want me talking about this, but the floor is like three or four x the normal floor.

Value of NFTs and Community Engagement

They're not that often listed or they're hard to get, you know, to be honest. So you definitely want to get on this. Oh, and we're also giving away 500 crow, which is the native token on Kronos, to give a little shout out to the Kronos fam. Kronos community. So. Hell yeah. And that'll run all the way through Monday night. And we're going to have a, we'll announce it later, but we're going to have a official Twitter space with the crypto.com team, and we'll probably announce the winner, like, at the end of that or like, shortly after.

Anticipation for Future Announcements

Yeah. Oh, right. Start clapping, everybody. Welcome. Hooray. We're glad you could find your way here. Talking to me. Yeah, we're clapping for you, buddy. Oh, sorry. I was working. I didn't even realize what day or time it was, so. It's all good, man. We love it. But normally that's where we prefer you. That's usually where I am, too, to be honest.

Continuous Work and Project Management

Working on the next clothing drop. Oh. You know, we always got to be two steps ahead. That's the hard part. You know, we can't even. Some, Sean can't even enjoy what's going on currently. But I. Yeah, I don't even know half the time, but it's like something I got done months ago. Yeah, no, it's. It's the, it's the tricky part of this is, like, you get really into it, but, like, then it doesn't come out for a little bit, and you're like, you have to, like, get reinvigorated almost.

Sean's Contributions and Team Humor

but. But I mean, for me, it's been a ton of fun posting all the hockey. Hockey memes and just having a good laugh over everything and just some of the art and stuff you created, Sean. Like, that were talking about the trailer and how. How fucking funny it is. the trailer vibe. I forgot how funny the collection is, too. I'm excited for that to come out for everyone to see it.

Revisiting the Collection

Yeah. When were looking through it yesterday for, like, one of the tweets, I, like, literally forgot that all of them had names until I looked at them again and I was like, oh, I forgot that this part is funny as fuck. So good. So good. Also, did we figure out if we are the first collection to do generative names attached to your NFT or not, because until I find otherwise, I'm going to say it is, yeah, we're the first, blah, blah.

Pioneering Ideas and Humor

That's what we've done. We've accomplished. We've done a lot of firsts. I think we should actually do a whole funny campaign about how we're the first, blah blah and, like, just totally make fun of it. Oh, man, that'd be good. But, like, we'll be the first, like, you know, to cook Mac and cheese while, you know, fucking holding your nose or something. Stupid as fuck. But anyways, yeah, no, the names are hilarious.

Creative Process and Team Dynamics

And, yeah, you guys will. You guys will find out what we're talking about soon, but the things that come out of Sean's mind are always just fucking cracking us up nonstop. So. We appreciate you, homie, for. For just being a funny motherfucker. Yeah, I mean, I hope everyone else thinks it's funny. I just make things that make me laugh, you know?

The Shared Experience of Laughter

I think that's the beauty of why we're all here, is we like what you like and we laughed when you laugh. So that helps. That helps. But, yeah, I guess I know you have to dust off the memory of making some of this, Sean, but is there anything you want to add or say kind of leading into the drop that people think that you enjoyed or think people would find interesting? Kind of.

Sneak Peeks and Nostalgic Vibes

Before we see the big grand reveal on Tuesday of everything. I mean, I think it's cool just because it's, like, goons vibes, but not goons. You know, it's the same kind of art style as the OG goons. So it's. It's that nostalgic feeling. You know, it doesn't have all, like, you know, the same crazy traits or anything, but, you know, it's got that same vibe.

OG Style and Enjoyment

It's like, get that. Get that OG feeling back with, like, a different project, which I think is the coolest part of it. And then, you know, it's just funny and crazy, and I think people will enjoy it. Definitely. I think one of the things I enjoyed was a lot of the Dusters team jerseys represent. You know, they're inspired by a lot of, like, the cool, fun things that you find in the OG collection.

The Creative Process and New Traits

So it's. That was pretty cool to see come to life. I also love seeing new traits in the OG style because normally it's, like seeing, like, OG traits in a new style, but seeing, like, new traits drawn that way was pretty sick, too. Yeah, that's kind of what I was getting at. You know, it's like more of that OG art that everybody likes, but obviously different characters.

Character Designs and Upcoming Releases

And it's a little drawn a little bit differently. But, yeah, if you like goons, you'll like this one. Let's go now. They're. They're great. And, yeah. So more rolling out on that in the next few days or right on into Tuesday. So be there on Tuesday the 8th next week. Times and schedule and price and all that will be coming out pretty much all tomorrow.

Conclusion and Looking Ahead

So keep your eyes peeled for all that information. And, yeah, let's just have a good time. See, it's the day after my birthday, so I might be hungover. I mean, what better way to go to the duster's tryout than fucking hungover on a Tuesday? I haven't drank in a month. I was like, I'm not drinking until my birthday.

Personal Revelations and Company Culture

So are you doing it on Monday? Yeah, probably. All right, well, maybe I'll be the one showing up late to work. Clap you in, boy. Also, if anyone wants to come up and ask any questions before we get out of here, feel free. Also, Sean, sorry if you got any weird texts. I did put your number in the chat to try and get other people to hit you up.

Lighthearted Moments and Questions

They were blown away that your number was 426-6969 but I was like, no, that's the one. That's the one. Oh, yeah. Extra for that. We even minted it on chain for that, you know, forever permanence. It's like when you write it on, you know, on the bathroom stall, you know, it's just kind of there forever. For a good time, call this number.

Engaging with the Community

All right, we got two people coming up here. Gary Terry, micro. What's going on? Scary. Yo, what up? What up, guys? How's it going? yeah, I just, you know, wanted to come up.

Crypto.com and Champions League

Not really a question, but just kind of, you know, add on to something that you guys were talking about, you know, and, you know, like, crypto.com is not only a really big exchange, but it is a really big name in not only the web three space, but in real life. You know, not only the crypto arena, but I was watching Champions League yesterday, and all of the games had a crypto.com advertisement. And it, like, blew my mind because immediately when I seen it, I thought you guys, because I knew you guys were doing this drop, and I was like, holy shit. Like, and I, you know, connecting dots and stuff. And it's like, damn. Like, that is big. Like, you know how many people watch Champions league around the world? Like, that is, like, the number one, like, premier League of soccer. So, yeah, not big shout out to you guys. And I'm excited, you know, not too big into hockey. You know, I'm a Boston Bruins fan. But, yeah, I got my goon hockey mask, so I'm ready to start stocking up on some hockey shit.

Hockey and the Duster Collection

I mean, I think the beauty also here is that these dusters aren't. Aren't that into hockey, either. They're much more, like, chilling on the sidelines, getting into fights. You know, just. Just the fun parts of hockey and not the boring parts. and so we thought, like, you know, it just is a great fit. And, you know, Sean's art looks dope on anything. So, let's. Let's see, yeah, there ain't no Wayne Gretzky's in the Duster collection, but there might be people that are, like, smoking cigs intermission. For sure. Dude, has anybody seen that movie with the dude with Stifler from fucking? You mean goon? Yeah. Holy is called goon. Okay? I'm like, is it cold? Goon? Like, no way. It's called goon. Like, I'm thinking that because I'm in this goon space. Nabro. It's a banger, bro. It's a good movie.

Personal Connections and Observations

I just watched it the other day. Oh, did you? For the first time? No, I've had seen it before, but, yeah. Yeah, I had to show Jess because she never saw it. Oh, perfect. That's basically what, like, small city canadian places are like. Like, I for sure know people like that. I had a friend that was just like Stifler's character. That's crazy, dude. But also, like, super sick. Like he's dead ass lagoon. Yeah, I mean, he was a better hockey player. He wasn't just a goon coming in to fight, but, like, you know, he was that type of guy on a hockey team. For sure. Hey, it's cheaper than anger management, that's for sure. Therapy. Hell, yeah. What's funny about it is he's actually just, like, super nice guy. Speaking of super nice, guys, didn't micro. Come up here, too?

Praise for the Team

Yeah. What an intro, Piera, I wasn't expecting that from you. And, I mean, I had a couple going along, but they kept on just, like, not leaving me an entry, and then, boom, they left me with the perfect one, so I had to drop it. I love it, man. I love it. Well, thank you guys, for having me up. Jesse, I'm curious, though. What are the boring parts of hockey cause I'm not. That doesn't compute. That doesn't track with me. So there's, this may be more fun, but I'm not sure what's boring. We can discuss that later. admittedly, I had the kids to myself, so I was trying to get them to bed during the beginning of this. So I don't really know what you guys talked about with dusters, but as soon as this is over, I'm definitely gonna hit it back. I love the idea. I love, I've always loved that the goons repped hockey and, you know, the two things I'm passionate about, nfts and hockey.

Community Engagement and Onboarding

Like, what better? So shout out, period. Two for getting a little league together, for us to do a little fantasy, two little camaraderie. I love that. But what I really came up here to say was just give you guys some flowers. A bunch of guys I know in the space are hockey players and they're running their projects. And so I'm trying to onboard them into the goons because obviously it's pretty vibrant here. And I was going back through some of the stuff, the messages between me and Jesse and the old school stuff, like dented fields days, and I came across the video, the urban outfitter iyk Shopify panel that you guys did, and like, that was summer 2022. And I watched like, the first 15 minutes again and there was shit you guys were talking about and executing on then that, like, a lot of projects are coming to market with finally.

Recognition of Innovative Ideas

But you guys figured it out way back then and you're two, three years ahead now on the curve. So just, you know, remarkable stuff. You guys are gigabrain and I'm sure everything else that, you know, you've been working on in the meantime is going to lap them too. And this is just like, such an undervalued project, and you guys are such an amazing team. So just wanted to. It was literally last night I was watching that video again and I was like, dude, like, this is fucking fire. Even then. Like, even now. You could play it today and people be like, oh, wow, these guys are onto something. But that was nft NYC 2022. So just a shout out and then let's fucking go Bruins.

Emotional Responses and Team Spirit

I just want to let everyone know we did not pay for that endorsement and you're welcome up here anytime. That was beautiful and made my heart very warm. Very, very warm. No, man, you guys are, you guys deserve it. And you are a humble team too. And that's what makes it so awesome. So just keep doing it, you know? And then to the community, that's. You guys are rock solid. So I love being a goon. Hell, yeah. Appreciate all those words, man. And I did. There were some banger quotes in there, like, from Drew. Drew had a couple of things, like, while we're on stage, and he said it. I'm like, damn, he's right. Like, I remember the one that really stood out to me was, like, how, like.

The Power of Community Connections

And these. These communities and, like, seeing someone rocking something that is in your community, like, there's that, like, connectivity that brings you together. Like, so, like, rocking the same brand actually brings you together, whereas, like, in the old school world of web two, it's like, you rock the same brand. You would never, like, go up to somebody and be like, yo, it's good. Like, you know, there's not, like, friendship and, like, that kind of thing, like, forming because of that. Yo, you like Adidas? Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Yeah. I also have three strikes. Yo, you got those? Yeah, exactly. Now, obviously, yeah.

Reflecting on a Quote

So, like, that one liner from Drew and that definitely, like, always stood, like, stuck with me. Stuck with me. And I even saw, like, what's the name? The Doodle CEO. He was talking about the exact same concept literally, like, a couple weeks ago. and so, that's. Yeah, that's kind of what I was talking about. Yeah. Big projects with big budgets are just figuring it out, and you guys were. You guys were just on the meta, but I didn't want to say that. I didn't want to say the quiet part out loud, so. I'm glad you did. Yeah, no, but I mean, also shout out to doodles, because they are killing it, too.

Closing Thoughts

And mad respect to how they've come on to this. This. This little gamified, world of, mentor redeem type stuff that we've been doing for a while. it is a fuckload of fun, and it works. Like, it's just. It's just. It's just fun. It's just a fun way to experience digital and physical goods. it's just. It's a ton of fun. and, like, if you're not out there dropping memes and pumping the bag super high, like, I think the best thing you can provide is fun and entertainment and just a goddamn good time and sick fucking art from Sean. So that's. That's what we'll keep on doing and keep plugging along and creating interesting, exciting new ways to experience all that.

Building for the Future

So. Yeah, and I think the other thing, like, even on. On top of that is, you know, we're slowly but surely still building out stuff in the back end. But it's like, not only is this stuff fun for web three people, this would obviously be fun if it was very easy for normies to participate too, because they're the same as us. It's just right now a lot of this shit is, like, hard and annoying to do. And when we can make that barrier lower and lower, it's just gonna bring in more participation. Because, like, I was talking to somebody about it a couple days ago, like, I'm, like, pretty fucking entrenched in web three, obviously.

Challenges of Meme Coins

And, like, I fucking hate meme coins as far as, like, trading them because I'm too fucking busy and, like, shit can go to zero in like 10 seconds. So, like, on a Saturday when I know I have time, I'll trade or I'll just buy certain things that I am comfortable holding for a while or whatever, but it's like, moonshot came out. It takes me 3 seconds. It pings me immediately. I don't have to open my wallet. I've traded more meme coins in the last, like, five days than I have since they've existed because that barrier is gone. That made it, like, annoying for me. And, like, I haven't made any money, but it's like, it's fun to look and be like, ooh, double, and then look back and like, ooh, zero, you know?

Finding Joy in Engagement

But I wouldn't have been able to have that experience if moonshot didn't exist. So I think the people that are kind of ripping down some of these walls that make it difficult for someone that just wants to do the fun part and maybe isn't as concerned with, like, I don't even know what the fucking word is. What's the word that people like? That, yeah, there we go, decentralization. Not everybody is super stoked on that. Some people just want to press the buttons. Well, I'm like, decentralization. The important part of decentralization is not like, I'm huge on that. I'm big on that, but I hate using it every day.

Decentralization and Centralization Dynamics

The key is it needs to be an alternative so that, like, there's always a competitor to the next. To the centralized option, you know, because it, like, forces the centralized options to always have to sweat that people could always just pull the plug and eject out and have it on their own. It's the same like with banks. You have the option to just hold your cash. You could just keep all your cash. If you don't want to participate in the banking system. Now, you'd be kind of dumb and have some trouble there, but the idea of just.

A Moment of Disruption

Hello? Did Jesse rug. He was on fire, too. You getting a phone call right now, Jesse? He's trying to call into the. He's calling Sean. He wanted to try the number. We're taking callers. No. Yeah, yeah, call into the show. Yo, what's up, guys? It's scary Terry, longtime listener, first time caller. Thanks for taking my question, man. No, it's my wife calling. My. I actually probably have to go. My wife. My kid has a fever right now, and, you know, unfortunately, your boys got to get out of here.

Recognizing Priorities

Hey, kids come first. We do it for the kids, honestly. Definitely, definitely do it for the kids. So, anyways, that was pretty weird and hilarious all at the same time. Thanks. Thanks for answering the phone there. Scary, but, cool. Well, on that note, anyone have any last words on stage here? And then we'll wrap it up and get out of here. Yeah, just on, like, you know, the topic you guys were talking about with, like, meme coins and. And just kind of, like community and attention.

Sharing Information

I posted that Murad video up top there, Jesse, the one that you, that one that you posted in the chat. Nice. So anybody wants a little something interesting to listen to? Definitely, definitely. Have a look at that. No, definitely. This is definitely. If you're trying to get ready for the next six months to nine months, watch that video. It's very informative about what's happening and where things are going.

Considerations of Bias

But also keep in mind that video is made by a company who shills meme coins, so nothing is not biased. So always keep that. And without further ado, I'm getting another phone call, so I really do have to go. it's been great. October 8. Tuesday. Be there. Get fucking dusted, you fucking dusters. We'll see you then. Smoke it if you got it.

Looking Ahead

Peace, y'all. Another Twitter space on Tuesday. Monday. Keep your stick on the ice. Can you guys hear me? Yep. Okay. Yeah, we're just talking over you. Oh, God. Jesse, get out of here. You be good. Be a goon.
