Behind the Mic
Hi, I'm curious. Just a quick question. What do you mint the specific style? Does that have anything? Is it like around the mechanics of the game, or is it just completely interchangeable? Yeah, yeah. So I think part of why we went with the generative feels and adding those rarity tiers to the style is mostly actually for side projects that we're going to be including in the ecosystem later. So I think the implication of it right now will be very minimal. It'll mostly be only on the soft polian game play, where it's related again to the multipliers that we had talked about. So if you have a character in a certain category, you're going to be earning more points and more XP for the time that you have playing that specific part of the game. But later on, what we're going to do is sort of alongside more companions and more interoperability with other things in our ecosystem, will add different accesses and different benefits essentially based on these traits. So there's no exact plan on it immediately after launch, but I think long term, we definitely want to work in those exclusivities and those, you know, bonuses for holders. That's awesome. I'm super stoked for it. Do you have anything? So we actually collected some people earlier from Twitter, so I'm actually going to read some of these out loud real quick as we're in here. But do you have any of your favorites? Anything that stand out for you as far as traits or looks, or do you think the collections are very special based on based on? I mean, we've talked about a little bit, but what are your personal faves? Yeah, I mean, so I think overall, the style, I think, is just so mf r ish. Right. It's cute. It's accessible. Anyone who looks at it can understand what they're looking at, and they don't take themselves too seriously if you're using this as your PFP. Right. I think it's very mf r ish, but also has clearly its own unique style, which, again, I just. I can look through these all day and have spent lots of time just scrolling through some of the. The images. But I know I have some of my favorite traits, which I'll share in a sec. But I'm curious, are there any traits that, for you, Mike, that you'd stick out as saying, like, you know, this is the one? These are my traits, you know? Yeah, absolutely. I think, like, first and foremost, I got to say, the whiff hat, you know, dog with hat, was kind. Kind of my reintroduction to meme coins after a long time out of the trenches. And I've had a lot of fun with that community and with the memes, and so that's a big one for me. I also like a lot of the MFA references. You know, we got the crazy sticker, we've got the seed pack from Satoshi's garden and the seasonal garden flags. You know, we wanted to make sure that we really, like, did a good job intertwining some of the lore from other projects in here. Yeah, I was gonna say, you know, the biggest honor I think I've ever received in this space was getting the seed pathos garden seed pack on the desk there. They have that, the GMM effort mug. You know, all the stickers that the eos, you know, the satoshi kind of stick figure sticker on the back, the, you know, everything's fine background, the seasonal amount for stuff. I mean, it's just such a based collection there of, like, it's so clear that, you know, only people who've been in the space for a while could have built a collection like this, which is why it stands out to me as well, because it's not, you know, so much stuff in this space. You know, you see the price. It doesn't. Doesn't maintain its floor, whatever it is. Like, it's so easy to call out so much stuff as just being like a cash grab, and this has just absolute from top to bottom effort and, you know, kind of all the things that we love, and yet it's still clearly its own unique thing. I agree. I mean, again and again we're gonna be going through here. This is my little share here and I guess it's worth a little plug, but. You know, I think it's awesome and I think anyone who buys in to the first thing that we're going to be launching in the next phase of all this, they're not going to be dis appointed. I've had a ton of fun putting it together, so I'm looking forward to it too. And at the moment, it's it's super exciting. Yeah, the V2 definitely was made to be a good time and definitely to get involved in our art is something that we really value. So I do have a hand up from you. I'm just allowing you to come up and speak, so be vigilant with, you know, spam. But it's looking like it's going great, so I'm excited. Shen, I see you have your hand up with the Beaver emblem. What's going on? Thanks for having me. I just had a question in terms of the sustainability of the economy within the soft protocol ecosystem, so to speak. And when you talk about a lot of the features that are going to be integrated down the road, what is it you think about in terms of how how to keep the economy sustainable within the ecosystem? Yes. Great question there. I mean, what we actually do have a full fledged economy manager, so that's really convenient to have. So I'm not always the biggest ideas guy when it comes to that, but yeah, whether that's like, you know, having that appropriate currency cap, a lot of what we were doing with the multipliers again is making sure that, you know, we're giving everyone a base set of multipliers and not changing too much of that. So it's something that can sustain itself long term naturally. Same thing with, you know, anything having to do with, like a portion of things going back to our community, re engaging them. I know that one of the big things that we want to focus in on the next couple of months specifically is launching companions that they're going to be a big thing so that long term, wherever you are, you know, whatever market you know, position you're in, it's something that you can still continually take advantage of. You can expand to eventually because we again going back to the fact that we've got so many talented people involved in the project and that it's hard to coordinate, but we're going to make sure that we sort of move at that pace of. We're going like, top of funnel essentially, like, if we add in the max capacity of what we can right now, we want to make sure that it's like at least long term sustainable and not just a bunch of quick, random ideas. So we're going to we're going to get those. Into approach and then really sort of churn them out properly. That's great to hear. And I was wondering as well if there's any overlap from from V1 to V2 and what I guess that's going to do in terms of the launchpad, like what do you what is that really going to do kind of long term for for holders is ultimately I think where we're probably all going to be keen to purchase and in some cases want to see returns. So when you keep in mind the longevity of a lot of these things, what do you think is the big main point of difference and how how are you going to be able to adjust that? So the biggest thing I think we're focusing on is we want to make sure that when you enter in, it feels worthwhile. We don't want to, like, tell you you're going to get like the moon out of bacon or anything like that, but we want to make sure that when you come in, you're getting experiences, you're getting those memes that we focus on, you're getting our art, you're getting exclusive stuff. So again, regardless of whatever the price action is, we're really hyper focused on making sure that the soft mFRs come in and everyone else hangs out. We're going to have some cool IRL events. Eventually we're working on getting people together. So long term, it's really like we want to sort of build this ecosystem almost as it was. It was an action figure system, right? So you're jumping in, you have your stuff that you had from V1 and that's your access card. And now jumping in, you get that next phase of fun stuff added into the mix. That's probably going to make your entire hallway collection look that much more presentable and better down the road. Yes, I don't know if anybody else has any questions, but I think that's a great answer personally and and I'm sure we will have. Ultimately, as we outline this whole soft spot like process next little bit, I think there's going to be some people who are going to be very excited about the output. But hey, I'm just looking forward to the images dropping, which will be great. But if anyone else has any questions, please feel free to jump on up. Shen, I'm glad you asked as well. So feel free to raise hands as well. I think this is gonna be good thing if nothing else keeps coming up in mind. It's cool to let us know how people like jump in and share their things. Being an economist, I don't know. Otherwise, I might keep it pretty open for a bit. And if you guys have anything else, feel free to keep asking. Otherwise, I think it's good, Shen, I'm glad you're popping up. Yeah, happy to have you. And excuse the chaos back here. I'm a shameless collector myself, so if it looks crazy back here. I appreciate your patience for sure, but thank you. So we'll keep it going. I don't know if anybody else feel free to raise their hands and or any of the hosts, if you have something you want to get off your chest, please feel free to just cut me off anytime. But I again, I'm a big fan of asking you hard questions because when we get them, we'll be ready for them moving forward. You know, sounds like everything is to consider. Yeah. Awesome. I mean, so that being said, I don't know if we have any are there any other questions from any other team members? That didn't mean to put anybody on the spot here, but. Yeah. So sorry. I just wanted add in one thing, and that would be just like the fact that if you want updates, like the best way to get them is by following our social accounts or joining the discord server. So if you want to keep in the loop or you know, you want to know what's going on, first things first is hit to our socials. OK, awesome. Anything else gets on your chest. Speak now or otherwise I think we can we can call and wrap it up. Yeah, I think this is great. I really appreciate everyone making themselves available and this has been a lot of fun and a lot of insight. So I thank you everybody for being involved today, for all of our collect all of our listeners, everyone who you know who is who engaged our promotional posts and all that specifically to our soft protocols. Thank you for coming out today and listen. Again, if you haven't already, make sure you head into the discord. We'll be chatting there more today too. So yeah, thank you again and and we do appreciate it. Yeah, we've got a lot of cool stuff coming soon. You know, I feel like a lot of projects have always said that, but I wouldn't say if I didn't truly believe it. So I do appreciate you inviting us on and I look forward to seeing more of you guys around. OK, awesome. And I guess to wrap off, maybe we do something in the Discord later for these, if anyone's got their wallets connected up, things like that, we'll keep an eye out on the next few steps. I'll drop back in when we've done some more on boarding from our team, and we will just keep it tuned. But I think this is awesome and thanks again and thanks again for everyone involved today. Yeah, for sure. Thanks for having us on. Thank you for having us. Cheers. Appreciate it. I guess we'll coordinate offline to figure out how we're going to get these over to you, but appreciate you guys coming. Please just shoot me a DM so I don't forget and we will make sure we get these handled shortly. Appreciate all you guys for stopping by. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you to our guests from the soft protocol for stopping by as well. Thank you guys for building what you build. It's people like you that allow people like us to spend so much time and play around to the extent that we do. Make sure you send them some ham tips and whatnot, because those mfers absolutely deserve it. So keep an eye out for the next couple days and weeks. As you start seeing more of these soft mfers on your timeline. Make sure to mint them when you can stake already, you should be, if you weren't already staking, you absolutely should be now. And appreciate all you guys for stopping by and look forward to seeing you on the next MF or spotlight soon. Thanks again, everybody, and we will see you next time. Yeah, thanks for having us on. Thank you. Thank you."
