Behind the Mic

Welcome and Introduction

Hello. Hello, everybody. Thank you for being coming and joining the first cocode town hall Ama next to so many friends. And I am super excited to start. My name is Luana. We're going to be joining this first ama for Kokodi pretty soon. I'm going to start bringing up all the cocode team. I'm going to invite Diango so he can co host with me. And we also have an amazing person participating with us. Trophi is also going to be with us. He's going to be joining the stage. So we're super excited to have him here. Let me go for Diongo. There you go. There you go. Okay. Okay. Let's wait for a few minutes. Just stop on the bottom right and retweet the space so we can reach more people. And let's get started.

Team Members and Anticipation

Oh, I can see. Whatever, man. And g grod, also the beam cat fam is here. Oh, my God. Okay. I don't know. Diego, are you there? Yeah, I think he made it. Do you made it? Hey, iroh, look at g grab. Welcome to Miami. Hello, Luana. How are you doing? I'm very good. Very good. Oh, my God. I'm just going to stay here in the Kokodi. I'm not gonna enter from my personal. I think probably I will just plug it below. But I am going to invite some of the guests that I invited for this special ama so they can also participate through the whole space. And let's see, you know, some of them are going to speak, some of them are going to stay down. But I can see my got me girl right there, Nyx. She's probably on the meeting, though, but super excited to start this space.

Agenda and Announcements

This is our first town hall. I am going to kind of. We're going to go through a certain agenda. We are going to be explaining all the recent announcements from cocody. And I am super excited because this is like the first time that we have here. Wildcake is our game director and basically, you know, heart of cocody. He has been like, you know, in this road for in journey for like three years, working on how to bring such an amazing game to the whole community and web three gaming and into the web two environment. So super excited to introduce him here. And we have Diango, which is our BD. And you can see him all the time on the fungible spaces. He's such a keystone for the Kokodi team and such an amazing person, good friend, who in the, you know, recent months that I guess, I don't know, I have like five months participating in the Kokodi realm, and I'm just like, he has been such an amazing, you know, great co worker and team member, super helpful.

Game Nights and Team Highlights

I always, you know, kind of like going through message with him and Coles so we can detox from the whole web three, but it's such an amazing realm. He knows. He knows we have Nando here as well. And I'm going to bring him up because he's also a keystone for our game nights. One of the biggest participants of Kokodi. In every single game night, I try to run away from him. He tends to kill me every single time. And if you have joined our game nights, you know what I'm talking about. Bomo is also here. He's our founder and, oh, we have Pedro. But hold on, let me get, let me get him up, too. There you go. Okay. And we kind of like, set up like, some listings of, like, questions that I wanted to, you know, kind of like, bring up. We're going to start first a little bit with Cocopox.

Cocopox Overview

A lot of, like, members of our community kind of had questions regarding what was Cocoa pox, what is this mini app, what you can do in it. And I wanted Wildcat to kind of like, join and explain a little bit. But before we go into the questions, I want to kind of have, like an intro from what's cocody. Then we're going to go with our guests so they can kind of join up the stage with us and then we will move further for Cocopox. So let's start Diango, maybe you can give us, like, a good brief about what Kokoti is for our, you know, the people that is here on the stage with us. You mean Kokodi like, in general? Of course. Oh, my gosh, Luana, I'm not sure if I'm, like, able to actually explain, but I will of course try.

Understanding Kokodi

I think a lot of people who are already on the stage. First of all, everybody who joined, kudos to you. Thanks for joining this space and hanging out together with us. I can try explain Kokodi, but I'm not sure if I can just briefly explain it like this. First and foremost, I always start with this, that Kokodi is a game. And I mentioned this because there's a lot of out called crypto projects that are trying to build a game. And for Kokodi, having the game and the product is really key and core of the business and what we think long term, what we want to bring actually to the market. I feel like Kokodi is the new wave of the web three games that are coming out just now. I'm looking at my timeline these days and a lot of people are talking about off the grid.

Game Development Journey

For example, this is genuinely a good quality game that is coming out, that has the web three component and this is what Kokodi is meant to be as well. So we've been development for soon to be celebrated three years. So started a long time ago and at all times just basically focused on building the game itself. So since I want to say April or may this year, we have kind of came out of the mvp stage and we have a pre alpha that is available already on Epic Games Store, soon will be on more places where the game will be distributed. And yeah, the game itself is an extraction shooter with a battle royale component, or as we call it, extraction royale in general. So you have these two kind of clans, one of which is called Coco, the other one is d that are fighting with each other.

Unique Game Design

They are fighting themselves in a world without adults. So very different from typical shooter games because typically when you have shooter games, you will have like, very buff, military, dark, gloomy kind of setting and scenario. With Kokoro, you have this cartoonish characters with a lot of inspiration from japanese anime that are, like I said, you know, joining these two clans, Kokodi and fighting with each other and also fighting with monsters along the way. So this is, I would say, like, in general about what the project and the game is about. Obviously, it's very difficult to just explain everything in just like one or two minutes. But I'm trying my best. Thank you very much.

Player Experience and Community Engagement

Diango. I mean, you're the best when it comes to, like, really like, touching ground, when it's like, what's cocody? And I think that one of, like, the best things that I love about the game itself is not only, you know, the great gameplay that you can and experience that you get in the gameplay with all your friends and the environment, but also like, the lore behind it, like the story that lands behind the whole foundation of this world without adults. And I love the way that Wildcat has been able to really put that into the whole gameplay and bring that to the world for everyone, for us to experience what those Kokodians are really going through in the survival type of mode.

Friendships and Community Building

And I just want to give some, you know, time to, you know, pret to actually, you know, introduce himself and trophie and grud also that we met each other, you know, in some other spaces how are you, Brett? Hey, how are you guys? Everything good here? Losing my voice a little bit because yesterday I had an amazing meeting with the team of avalanche here in Colombia. So, yeah, went to a nice place. We talked a lot, like for 6 hours about what we're gonna be doing with our communities, the game nights and everything that we're planning so far. So it's been amazing. Happy to be here. Thank you, luana, for inviting me. And I'm also looking forward to playing kikodi with our community.

Excitement for Game Nights

I played myself, but I haven't played with many more people. So definitely we need to set up a game night to have fun. For sure. For sure. And this is like something that we have spoke before. So, fred, you have it. Like the actress is there. We're going to start game night for sure. And I'm sure that during that Avax, you know, type of meeting in Colombia, it has been, like, crazy talking, for sure. I can, I can. Yeah, yeah. It was so. Well, really happy to be in Buenos Aires next week. So I'll be buying my ticket today, probably. So are you going for sure? Yeah, I'm finally.

Community Connections

Yeah, we're gonna meet Deluana, so we're gonna have so much fun. I'm super excited for that. That's definitely vibes, man. I mean, I'm super excited. We're going to be with wayfinders. We're going to be there also in the fishing event. I'm going to see, like, a lot of, like, the gaming community that have a lot of girls, you know, in web three. Yeah, so, yeah, super excited. Super excited about that. It's going to be huge. Yes, yes. Thank you so much for stopping by. And did you say. Did you say that you have played cocode on your own?

Gameplay Experiences

Yeah, I. I checked it by myself, but I went into a map only, I mean, alone, so that wasn't so much fun because I need people to. Kill, I was about to say. So just so you know, eventually, obviously, there will be like, pve modes on top of PvP. But at this moment, and this is also what I feel like in general for gaming, is the beauty of gaming, like, you know, in general terms, so to speak, because you can actually speak and interact with other people, you know, and there is also the entire social aspect.

Engaging in Team Play

And if you think about cocodes, like, I have seen people playing cocody, and to be honest, sometimes it's even more fun, at least for me, to actually join some of the game nights and watch how other people play. We have two modes at this moment available, one of which is death match, the other one is team mode. Especially if you play team modes together with like, bunch of other people is so much better. So I gotta say, man, you have to join some of our game nights or we have to organize something together with you because when you play with more people is absolutely so much more fun. I promise you that.

Looking Forward to Game Nights

Yeah, for sure. Looking forward to that game night. For sure. I'm already talking to Luana, so that's gonna happen for sure. Yeah. Yes. I already had those conversations with Brett, so I'm super excited for that. And I want to give like some word for trophie that is here. Oh, my God, trophie. Like, we have been like friends for such a long time and it has been such an amazing, you know, I think, like, experience being able to know each other for over, I don't know, three years kind of, and now being able to actually participate together in this ecosystem is such an amazing, you know, honor.

Introducing Trophie

So how are you, trustee? Yeah. Good afternoon. Good evening, everyone. Thank you, Luana, for inviting me to this space. So, yeah, my name is Trophy. I'm a content creator on Evax. My main goal is to push gaming narrative. You know, I recently started playing the mini app game on Telegram, the one that is related to Kokodi. The reason why I haven't played the game yet is because I'm using a Mac. So my mark doesn't support the games for now. But I think when I get HP, I'm going to start playing the game itself for sure.

Community Engagement and Access

Trophi, I mean, you and Fred have the access and also I have Yukrod here in the stage as well. We also spoke before and I said that frog has to be playing in cocoa for sure. How are you, Gigrade? Hello, hello. Thank you for having me. I'm excited. Tricod, you just got me access just before the spaces, so hopefully I'll try it really soon. Not hopefully, I know I will. Let's be honest here. But yeah, I'm excited to be here.

Introduction to Kokodi

I'm excited to hear more about Kokodi. I've talked with you, I've talked with Bobo before as well, but I haven't checked out the game myself, so I think it's really fun. And it was good to hear the little intro here as well because I didn't fully know like everything that you had going on for Cody. I didn't know if you were going for PvE as well. So I love that side of things. So you can also reach out to all kinds of players, both PvP and PvE.

Community Lead Introduction

Super small intro. For myself, I'm a community lead over gaming chronicles where I just basically gaming community focus on playing games, having fun and giving back to the players on every single good night, every single quest, anything that we do. We're just here to have fun playing games and help games put themselves out there and get more plays for them.

Gameplay Idea and Strategy

Thank you so much, Ecruad. For sure, man. We have to do like a run like a full gameplay altogether and see how it goes, but without Nandito because Nandito tends to like go behind me and try to kill me every single time. And I really want to win. So I'm just like saying it. I know he's laughing. He's a listener, but I know he's laughing. I can hear the laugh. But I want to go directly to like some questions because I know the community on Telegram Discord has been asking what's Cocopox? And even here a lot of people have questions regarding what was the gameplay and the mechanics.

Introducing Wildcake

So I wanted to give like stage for wildcake to actually explain us and go a little bit into the intro of what's Cocoapox? Welkeck, you're there. Hello. Hello, hello. Finally. Okay, I'm finally here. Yes, very good. Very good. Yes, I can hear you. Perfect. Everybody can hear him. Perfect. Okay. Perfect. Perfect. Yes. So welcome. Can you tell us a little bit of what's cocoapox?

Overview of Cocoapox

So, cocoapox, it's a cocozy related mini app for Telegram. In short, everybody can use this mini app to gain some exp points and in future spend it to skins and lootbox and so on for real NFT gaming assets. That's the main idea of this mini app. And of course in the future we will like, we will spread some airdrop allocation among all the XP holders. And that's exactly what I'm going for.

Purpose of Cocoapox App

This cocoapox isn't just like a game. It's the cocody mini app. It's made and has been built for everyone to have it on hand and giving access to our community to earn XP in game and at the same time completely, you know, the daily official quest that we have for our community which will allow you to actually earn more XP through the game. You can invite your friends and literally check the leaderboard just from your phone.

Engagement with Telegram Community

So it's just like an accessibility type of tool that we're giving to our community to stay connected and really like bring up that side of what you can do with a Telegram access. Right. And I had like part of the community, they didn't, you know, that, you know, kind of had the cockapox, you know, initiated on Telegram and they started like playing on the tap. Even for me. Like in the beginning I kind of had like, I tried to play it and I continuously like tap on it thinking that was the way that I had to do it because I was a pog.

Difficulty and Gameplay Experience

Ninety's kid. I love pog. So I was thinking that was the whole thing, but it wasn't. I didn't actually want any XP because I was not doing it correctly. But I see some hands, I see Diego and then we go for Jake Rod. Yeah, I mean, I just want to give a couple of comments here especially regarding the companion part of the Telegram app. So just thinking about this from kind of bird-eye view or like broad view obviously for Kokodi, the main core product still and always will be the game that we are developing.

Platform Compatibility

Right. So I don't know who that was earlier, but somebody mentioned that you are playing on Mac and Mac is not really, it's not really possible to play with Epic Games Stores team on Mac, that type of stuff. So most of the people are actually having Windows PCs in order to play when the phone have a gaming related either laptop or a machine. And this is what we go for.

Game Engagement and Development

So this is where we actually want to create these really cool gaming experiences where people can really kind of go and dive deeper into the lore of the game and enjoy the gameplay, make friends also in the game and all of that stuff. So the idea behind it is that you can play the game for not just 1 hour, not just 2 hours, but actually like you can spend 50 hours and 100 hours inside the game and still have fun.

Longest Game Sessions

And I remember personally, you know, myself, I have, I used to play some of the games, you know, in the past and if you get hooked on some title, if it has like really cool and well designed game loops and stuff like this, you can play that game for a really long time. So this is always going to stay as the kind of main product and this is where majority of the development efforts from Kokodia actually go to.

Mobile App Considerations

But we also realize the fact, especially among the web three audience that people like to have something that they can do quickly and most often on mobile. So, you know, just as of recent, the Telegram apps or Telegram mini games are kind of all the rage and a lot of people are playing and we all know that Telegram in general has a huge user base.

Telegram User Base

There is 900 million to by now I think it's estimate of 1 billion people who are telegram users. So this is obviously a huge market and also kind of lends itself pretty well to have a companion to our main game, so to speak. So this is where the entire companion part actually comes into play wherever I, Kokodi has decided to actually develop a companion mini-game that would be kind of attached to the main product that we have developed already and that we continue developing.

Gameplay Mechanics Overview

Right. So as it has been described, you know, there's a bunch of stuff that you can do. You can dive deeper into the entire mechanics of the game. How you actually play the pugs or cups, as I used to call it like a long time ago, and you can gain the XP points. And the XP points in the future will be able to be exchanged or they will be exchangeable for some loot boxes and in-game items and assets and possibly even correct me if I'm wrong, wildcake, but if I understand correctly, you can open some loot boxes and even have like our Coco talking that you can win in those loot boxes and stuff like this.

Ecosystem Overview

So. But in essence, I just want to give like this bird-eye view of where the Pugs app and the Telegram companion app actually fits into the entire landscape or ecosystem of Kokodi. I love that. I love that. Diango. I mean, you said it pretty well. And this is one of like the main things is we are really focused and having this extraction on Royale coming on Q 120 25 and really building it in the right way so every one of you can really experience the cocoa world, you know, 100%, you know, this is what we are actually looking forward.

Community Engagement

But definitely that companion application is going to support those that are like really and want to be part of the cocode community and integrate exams with like so much XP and follow like different tasks and really participate in our, you know, game nights and tournaments and stayed updated with what we are launching every week.

Jaycroth Input

And. Jaycroth. Yes, please, like tell us. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, I'm a professional yapper, so I need to be focused, not to talk for ten minutes. But I just wanted to say that there's a lot of like, really positive points with what you have said so far about your Telegram game. First of all, you're basically making it as a companion app.

Kudos to Development Team

And that's really smart because what I see lots of projects do, and I think they do that very poorly, which is making Telegram game just to write the hype of Telegram games. And then they have no plans for conversion or to actually use that with some kind of utility towards a project. So first of all kudos for that. Kudos for actually allowing people to do daily quests as well there that will have an impact on their game and with their XP like you guys were talking about.

Searching for Innovation

So those two are like huge major points because I've been so annoyed trying out all these telegram games that I want to try out just to see if there's something new. And they're always the same thing where it's just tap tap tap tap tap the phone, get bored, stop playing and then do that for a thousand other games. And I think so far we've only seen realistically one good telegram game which is from Illumina hunt from Tatsumiko.

Optimism for Future Developments

So I hope and I'm excited to see what you guys come out with and to be actually playing on Telegram which is a sentence I never thought I'd be saying like three months ago. Yes, for sure. I mean that's why like we brought it, you know, we brought it up. You know, if you're trying to join the Cocoa pox you can do it just by tapping on the top. You're gonna have like already your axes and you will see like what's happening.

Getting XP Points

And let's see. And just tell me like if you really got like XP points because it's very tough. It's not that easy. Like Wildcake really made it very difficult. So let's see. I have here going through our next question because Django was already like going through like my whole like thing. I know a lot of people wanted to talk about the slammers and what you can do with the slammers and how you can upgrade them from our game bank. So wolke, can you explain us the slammers?

Understanding Slammers

Yeah, sure. So slammers, it's like do you hear it right? Yeah. Okay, perfect. Yeah, sorry, I didn't see the, my mic is on. So slammers, it's your upgradable items. Each upgrade give you more tabs, more games for tapping. And the main thing, each slammer and each level of the slammer gives you passive income of experience.

Maximizing XP Gain

So the main point you need to upgrade as more slammers as you can and join the game like every 5 hours because the passive income will go only for 5 hours. Perfect. Perfect. Yes. So in here you can actually, you know, you can improve your passive XP income and at the same time you can increase your tabs per game and the game bank amount. So that's kind of like part of that dynamic.

Visual Guide for Slammers

I know a lot of you know, kind of like wanted to go through each of them. We actually made a good video where you can see like the whole thing, how it works and what you have included in the app before you open it. And if you want to join again, you can just stop on the top and you can go there. We made a QR code so you just can scan it and go. And I wanted to go to our, you know, probably like one of our biggest campaigns that has happened for so far this queue and is the core loot boxes.

Introduction to Core Loot Boxes

And I know we dropped this last night. We actually, I did like some pre teases prior, but we kind of like saw a lot of momentum. So we wanted to go into like what the core loot boxes are for our community, what you can expect if you're already a Kokodi holder, where you can get hands on this if you are planning to get one of our loot boxes.

Core Loot Box Contents

And so let's go first with like, what's inside. Right? Diego, can you explain us a little bit of what they can find? And I know you said it before, but probably right now you can extend it. Say again, loana. Can you explain us what is inside the cores, the loot boxes? I guess the question is better to wildcake, the one that leads the devs.

Loot Box Insights

But as far as I understand, okay, this is, again, to me, I'm just speaking right now as like a regular user. Think of it like that. As far as I understand, you can get different kinds of things that you can open once you open those loot boxes. And to me, the biggest stuff that immediately stood out was that you can even get a portion of the cocoa token for everybody who is listening to the space and following Kokodi for a while.

Community Token Allocation

You know that at one point of time we are actually planning to go through like idontg and actually launch a token. And once the token is tradable, we have already dedicated a portion of the token supply. First of all, we have dedicated a big portion to our community, just existing community, then people who are going to play inside the main kokodi core product on PC.

XP Points for Rewards

But then we have also decided to dedicate a portion of this to the people who gain the XP points either through our onboarding page or by playing the Cocoapogs mini app on Telegram. So it's absolutely possible that you can, you know, just open the loot box and bam, you get some coco out there instantly.

Loot Box Items

On top of this, you can get some in-game items, but what exact items? This is a better question to Altgake. I'm pretty sure he can answer better. Yeah, yeah, I can answer. So each prime core load box can contain one guarantee scheme. Gaming scheme. Which one? We'll see. It's a random.

Randomized Loot Boxes

Also, I need to say that opening boxes will be with real random, real on-chain random. And you will get like one of guaranteed skin. Rare or legendary or just common. The total amount of skins of variations, it's 1414 different skins in these tote boxes.

Additional Loot Box Content

On top of skin you can gain some cocoa tokens as Janka mentioned already, and some play points. What about the rest? NFts there will be a few gaming assets like graffiti. Gaming graffiti or something else. The whole list you can gain from boot boxes will be.

Future Demonstrations

We'll demonstrate later. Yes. And every single of the items are rare. So each of them is unique in some kind of way. So that's even more exciting. Go ahead. It depends on your luck. I will say you can get not much rare, but. But yeah, there's different priority in each load box.

Claiming Period

And then also the claiming period. It's going to be from eleven of October. So today all the way till the 23rd. Correct. Correct. Awesome. It's a claiming period. It's a claiming period. Opening, opening will start from December.

Loot Box Opening and Claiming Period

Yes. So you will be able to open your loot box and find what's inside on December. But right now it's the claiming period. So you can get those loot boxes on your hands. And we also have a secondary right. That is live right now with beans. Yes, it's live. Yes, it's live right now. Okay. I will top this tweet on the top. So if any of you guys are interested, you can actually go there. But I'm super excited to see when this, you know, when just like everyone will be able to see what's in their loot box because I really want to see what they got, you know, because I'm sure I'm going to get something different than what Fred will get or Jake rod or trophy or Diango, you know, like every single one will get like, I don't know, maybe something different. And. And we have like really good tournaments that are happening.

Excitement for Tournaments

Actually this week we have one tournament. Oh my God. I think I was losing the team completely. You got, you got there, Brett. Did anyone listen? Yeah, I'm here, but I think the space rubbed or something. Yeah, something happened, right? Yeah, something happens. Yeah, it's fine. It's fine. We will see what's happening and it doesn't matter. I think we all got here. So we are all back. I see some wildcat is already up and trophy still here. Trophy, you're still there? Yeah, I'm here. I'm joined. I'm joined back. Okay, cool. Perfect. And. Okay, awesome. Awesome. I just wanted to make sure that everyone was here, but that's great. And yeah, so I was talking about actually the tournament that is going to be happening this Sunday, the prize pools.

We're going to have a first, a second place and a third place that are going to be participating. And we are super excited about that. We have our discord already prepared and set for that tournament. So if you're planning to subscribe yourself, you can also go to our, I'm going to post it here as well so everyone can go and tap down. But I wanted to kind of like bring space to Trophi and just like ask him because he has made a few, you know, a lot of different threads and a lot of different posts and he has introduced his new videos to the web three community in Avaxen and in so many other ecosystems. And, you know, I have seen him reviewing a lot of like gameplays and I just wanted to know like, how do you feel really web three gaming right now? And it's growing.

Web Three Gaming Insights

Do you feel like it's growing faster as community? It's like building up, is there in an early stage? I really want to know, what do you feel about that? Okay. Yeah. Thank you for, thank you for that question. Yeah. So, basically, and I think for months now, a lot of people have been emphasizing so much on making games that are really fun to play. You know, there were times when Kokodi was streaming online on Twitter, I think from Discord, but connected to Twitter. I joined and I was watching it and even if I could not play the game, but just me watching you guys playing the game, it was really interesting. So I feel like a lot of people are taking, developers and founders are taking a different approach to making games that are really fun to play.

The Role of Fun in Gaming

Take example of the grid that recently just launched, coupled with the fact that it's also a blockchain game. A lot of people are not really so focused on the game, on the tokens and all of that. Because if you're onboarding players from web two, I mean, everybody wants to play a game that is really interesting, that, you know, brings that fantasy from their head, that brings those fantasy for movies that you watch and you're actually doing that in the game. So I think, you know, games are gradually trying to, you know, infuse fun because lots of web two games are always based on fun, like GTA, need for speed. These are the kind of games that you can spend your whole day playing when you're free. Same thing with, mobile games, the way things are going.

Challenges in Web Three Community Building

So I feel like with time, there will be more games coming out that are really fun to play and that will actually change the mindset of what's really, web three gaming needs. Because putting fun first before the tokens and all of that should actually be the goal. Thank you. Thank you, Trophi. I mean, you have been in a lot of places and a lot of different, trying out so many games in the ecosystem and I can't wait for us to have a run altogether. Setting up the game night sometimes and trying to do everyone in the schedule and put them all together. It's kind of tough in web three, you know, sometimes you have a thing, but if you have like an important meeting, then you're like, oh, I cannot go. So it's kind of like terrible.

Web Three Gaming Community Dynamics

But I am like super excited because I know that for me, in my perspective, I have seen the web three gaming community really getting beyond together. And this is something that's why I feel like that same sentiment should not only stay in what's happening here in crypto, Twitter, but issue also, you know, feel the same experience when you are in, you know, the TikTok or where you're in any other social platform as well as those disc sports. And I really, you know, I'm impressed about how many projects really have like a well structured set up when it comes of like having community events daily and just participating so much with their community. And I know pretty is like one of those masters behind like community building aside from content creation.

Barriers to Entry for Gamers

And I really would like to know, like do you feel that there has been like certain challenges in when in terms of like building those communities, you know, from the beginning? Well, yesterday were talking about it a little bit for like 6 hours about building community. And one thing that we agree, like right here, LATam, is the lack of proper equipment to play like high end games, like off the grid, for example. So the good things that off the grid right now is on PlayStation five. Hopefully more games come jump into these platforms like PlayStation Xbox, that will make it way more accessible for more people. Because it's not the same buying a computer of more than $1,000 that just getting a PS five for 500, $400, something like that.

Addressing Misconceptions about Web Three

So that's one of the difficulties I find. But other than that, well, we have a little bit of, I was saying the other day, we have a little bit of that probably way of thinking that web three is a scam, web three is Ponzi scheme, stuff like that. And we've been educating people about it because like for example, in my community, we have a lot of web two gamers, and bringing them to the dark side, I would say light side now of web three, we have to educate them. That's the only way. So that's being a little bit of a challenge, but nothing too crazy because we've been building in this space for a long time. We have a reputation.

Community and Accountability in Gaming

So I guess people trust us. And that's our task also to make every game that we put on the table or every project, we need to make sure that there's real people behind it, within quality, I can say real people that are working for the community, of course, for their projects. And everyone wants to make money. That's, that's a fact. And there is nothing wrong about it. It's just about being legit, staying behind your project. And I guess as a content creator, that's one of our missions to like making sure things are games are accomplishing their goals, making them accountable. Sometimes that's something also that I think that is really important. But other than that, I mean, if the game is good, we're having fun, community is joining, we're having great time playing together and that's about it.

Importance of Cross-Platform Accessibility

I don't think there are like huge challenges. If the games are good, just take a look at what opticrease is doing. People are having fun, they're all over the place. Every Twitch channel is playing them, it's playing the game. So if you have good foundation, there is nothing that can be done. For sure. I mean, 100% on that. I think that if one of the things that we have like really work on is into build a game, that it's like very accessible in so many senses, not only in the system side, not only in how it is as a game experience, but it also, how can it be integrated and not occupy such a space as we know, the ones that have to carry with those rams and graphics.

Optimization and Accessibility in Gaming

But we have really worked on and thought about that of optimization. That really brings a different type of experience also for those players. Right. And aside from that, like the amount of launch pads, they are now really supporting a lot of different games and giving also accessibility to all of those. I have seen a lot of like web three platforms that are really, like, out there and really having so many games participating. And now we're going to see this new amount of l ones that are going to be, you know, such a, you know, game. This is going to be a game project with their own l ones. And I'm sure that off the grid is going to, you know, bring a stone into that milestone for Avalanche, for more games to integrate themselves into that amazing ecosystem for web three gaming.

Anticipation and Support for the Community

So super excited because I saw, like, my friend from forgotten Playland has joined Cardi Spain. Oh, my God. We're rating you. Oh, my God. How are you? Oh, my God. We wanted to show up and support y'all a little bit. We wrapped up our space a few minutes early. We realized, like, were both having spaces at the same time. And we're like, hey, it's a quiet little Friday. We'll just wrap up a few minutes early and come out and show some love to our friends on the other side of the beam blockchain. Oh, my God, Mikael, thank you so much. You know, you're such a love. I swear, I swear.

Memorable Experiences in Web Three Gaming

And, you know, this is one of the reasons why I keep my ears from the. From the forgotten Playland Nashville things. And it's funny because my first Avax video is going to be with those ears. You know, it's not for the bear because a lot of people is like, oh, you're going to bring the Bear vibes. No, I'm not. I'm not. Okay. I just want to have my bare ears because it reminds me of such a, like an amazing time next to like, you know, Teddy and, you know, like all these guys, they were like, just Kearny was there, you know, just creating content and really enjoying the gameplay behind forgotten Playland.

Anticipating Future Events

So I was like super excited to be able to know participate in that during bitcoin Nashville. And I'm sure that now that Fred is going to be on the avalanche summit during in Buenos Aires, we're going to have a lot of fun too because I know that Wayfinders actually is having this amazing gaming event. There is an actual after party. I don't know what's going to happen there. I'm just like, you know, I just going to see how I'm going to showcase because I actually print out cocode tank top. Okay. For the party.

Fashion and Community Collaboration

Just for that, I actually made it very fashionable. It's not going to be on sale probably I will sell it when cocody is very famous. And from that I will be able to do something else, who knows, right? But thank you so much for coming here and supporting the cocode fam because definitely we try to reach out as many communities as they are out there and really try to, you know, embrace that collaboration lifestyle in web three. And I just, I had ice here.

Acknowledgments and Gratefulness

He actually came here. And I just want to say he's such an amazing person. We had the chance to talk also, and he has been a great host so many times in so many spaces. We love you, ice, and I know that you cannot, you know, pump up, but it's okay. It's okay. No worries. We love you anyway. But let's keep going. Let's keep going with the conversation because truffy brought, like, a lot of really good points and Fred really, like, came up with this whole challenges that we have been, like.

Innovation Amidst Challenges

Definitely everyone has been going through different type of journeys, but I think that it's kind of like those challenges that make us more innovative and try to find different solutions on what we can offer to gamers out there that want to amplify their experience not only by the gameplay, but with the ownership side which brings that blockchain solution. I think that I'm going to go into this question for everyone that is participating in here. How do you feel that right now, as builders, as projects, as people that are contributing in this community, do you feel that we should be like, you know, building, like, different type of solutions?

Adapting and Innovating in Community Building

Like, our focus right now should be staying in the same road and continue building on those factors or we have to be more innovative in certain aspects for us to reach a more broader audience. What do you guys think? I will go for Mikael because she came here, dude. I'm moral supporting. What was the question? Real quick question. Okay, I go again. Damn. I was very inspired. I was very inspired during the question. Okay, I can take it.

Opportunities in Cross-Platform Gaming

I can take it for you, Mikael. Okay. And then I will listen to what you say. And for my answer, from your opinion. Yeah, I would say, like, I'll say, like, doing cross. Cross platform games are really a good way to reach new audiences. Like, broad, like a lot of people. And that's something that I'm really excited that a lot of games are doing that nowadays because, like, especially for me, I know I've been recurrent with this idea, but people in LAtam, not everyone has the same opportunities, and that's a fact.

Creating Opportunities in LAtam

And that's why we are working so hard to bring new games and new opportunities and new everything to LAtam, because I think they deserve it. We have really hard working people and having the opportunity to play games in your cell phone alongside with someone else playing on a computer and someone else playing on Xbox or something like that. It's huge. I think it's huge because it opens a huge world of opportunities of new users, new gamers. I can't remember when I was streaming among us like three or four years ago that it was trending.

Nostalgic Gaming Experiences

I don't know if you all remember, among us and everyone jumping into my stream, jumping in my discord just because they can play with their cell phones. And it was amazing. I was live streaming my very expensive computer with a bunch of kids, people from all ages jumping into the gaming area without even gaming before.

The Excitement of Gaming

I mean, for some people it was like the first time playing a video game just because they were looking at us like watching our stream and watching how much fun were having. And they were like, how can I jump in? And this is the link, you just download it, use this code and you're into the action. So I think that's something that it might be. I know every game cannot do that because, I mean, technical limitations, I know how it goes. I mean, I couldn't, I wouldn't imagine off the grid on a cell phone. I don't know, at least not now, I don't know. But I know games like Kokodi, like forgotten Playline, they will be amazing on cell phone. These kind of games, they're party games. They're games for the family, for everyone. I think they're really enjoyable on every platform. They should be there. So I don't really know your plans, guys, but if you're not into mobile, you should be.

The Future of Gaming on Mobile

Okay, well, I'll say we want to build mobile. I will say it's not directly on the roadmap, but I agree with you 100%. I think party games on mobile, where you just pick it up and battle it out with your friends, that level of accessibility is just a net pot. Like, there's no way you can spin it. That being said, it does take time and money and resources to build that. So we're getting through this epic launch first, and then you never know what the future might hold. It's definitely true. And I mean, I cannot speak on what's on the timeline for cocody, but we definitely tried to kind of like come up with an accessibility point with our cocoa box because we actually thought about, you know, how we can really communicate with those community members in a different realm now that our game, it's kind of set up in the computer, you know, and then, you know, depending on what the future holds, we will be able to integrate it as many platforms because I'm 100% sure that's, like, the whole concept of starting to building a game is to integrate it into more platforms.

Nostalgia and Game Participation

So definitely, I completely agree with that thought. And, trophie, you wanted to say something? I think I saw your hand. I don't know. Yeah, I wanted to add to what Prez was saying, like, mobile games. I think I'm an advocate for that. I feel like mobile games are still the future of Web three, but, yeah, games, like, off the grid. I feel like, you know, we have call of Duty on mobile. You know, we have PUBG, too. So, like, I mean, developers can make those type of games on mobile, and you see the number of people that would actually be able to access the game. So, yeah, that's what I have to say. And just, like, to bring. And that was, like, definitely a great point. You know, so many things that we are right now really focusing about is, you know, really go for that accessible side of building not only a game, but building that community that will be able to grow by itself and connect with each other.

Connecting Through Gaming

And I have, like, a question, and this is going to be a very simple question, but I think it's great because it allows me to get to know more everyone that is participating on stage. So I kind of know, Mikael, because I kind of, like, have had this conversation before. But let's go for this, like, simple question. What was your favorite game when you were on your teenage years? Who wants to go first? Oh, I'll go. I'll go. Okay. Okay. Mario Kart. And I'm so good at it. I challenge everyone in the audience. I wish somebody would make a web three Mario Kart is what I wish, because I will. I will be the number one web three gamer at Mario Kart. I can guarantee you. Like, that's. Somebody call Mario and make it happen. Oh, my God. I mean, I love Mario Kart, bro. Like, that's, like, one of, like, those games that you can play, like, anytime in any moto, right? Like, I feel like any moto. It doesn't matter. You can play that game for sure.

Reflections on Classic Games

And if I will see it in web three, I mean, I'm telling you, like, I bought a lot of stuff, like, from Lego, from Mario Kart. Like, I got, like, so many cards and stuff that I will definitely will be, like, very keen into, like, playing web three Mario Kart, for sure. Fred, what do you. What was your favorite game when you were on your teenage. Quake one? Definitely. Quake one is where everything started. We started making lounge parties back in the 1996. So that is the game that stole my heart. That was the first time that I played a real multiplier multiplayer game within, I mean with my friends from high school with different computers, each one in a different computer. And you click that first mouse button and you see that rocket launcher going to the other computer next to the other side of the room was like, what the heck is this? And that moment changed literally my life.

Game Memories and Future Connections

So quake one, it has all my heart. Wow, what a game. What a game. Diango, did you ever play quark game? No, not really. That was not my fault, to be honest. So what I think back to like old kind of games that I used to play most is probably FIFA and need for speed. I'm just like, you know, too old for the newer stuff. I haven't, I haven't actually done Shifa though. I don't think so. Or am I FIFA? Yeah. What do you say? FIFA? FIFA. It's FIFA, yes. Luano okay, well, yes, it's soccer in the other side of the world. It's. So I have play with my brother. So, yeah, FIFA for sure. I know, I heard Chifa and I was like, I have never played that one. Sorry. Hey look, last time we had this space and somebody mentioned, I think, was it wolf 3d or something like this? That was mentioned like really old school game.

Generational Gaming Perspectives

And you know, I just realized that basically because some people have basically asked what is it? What is that game? And to me it's like my generation, even if you are not a gamer, you will know that game. You know, like there was a bunch of games that came out at the very beginning, you know, like I'll probably still in the nineties or early two thousands and everybody knows them. But I just basically realized that, you know, the entire web three space and industry is right now. You know, sometimes people who are a little bit younger join and they do not have that experience. They don't remember the old games. No. Yeah, I mean, I'm telling you, I go through that because I come from Sega, you know, so you can kind of like hint like what's my age? You know, sometimes I enter into like spaces and there's like, you know, very young people and they tell me their games and I have not really like spent a lot of time like playing those games.

Emotional Connections through Gameplay

I kind of feel like I kind of got locked into what I really knew or what I really enjoy because that's what I'm talking about. It's like that emotional connection to how you felt during the gameplay. It's sometimes something that drowns you into continuously playing those games. And this is one of the reasons why I bring this up, because those are kind of those games that leave those core memories. That's why they're there in our mind constantly. So I think that innovations and when were talking and going kind of like, pig back on what were talking before, we have, like, so many different mechanics that will allow that connection for everyone in our, you know, community. And, I mean, it's something that happens also with forgotten playland, you know, for example, like, a lot of people feels connected because in a certain sense, they have been able to, like, you know, play with the pair and they are in a competitive zone all the time.

Community Engagement Through Gaming

And I have seen it a lot of times with Diango when we have done a lot of streamings or, like, game nights and people, you know, go into the Kokodia arena and they just like, it's like a real battle people goes into. No, like, I'm telling you, like, Van Ho, she threw, like, the, like the best screamings during the game. But we actually, I make, like, we did, like, a compilation of a lot of images and Banco is in every single one because I swear, like, it was such an emotional connection from her to, like, play the game. And it's like the same feeling. I have seen forgotten plainland being in so many tireless. Oh, my God. Like, that's why, you know, I'm so proud of the forgotten playlands. I am, though, super proud of Mikael and everything that Bram is doing.

Future Developments in Gaming

But I have another question because I think that, you know, I don't want to, like, take, like, the full hour. We're already on top of the hour. Are you guys having any future things coming with forgotten Plainland? Fred, anything that is coming with your community, and then I will give some takes on what cocody is going to be doing for the next few days. Well, for my community, we are planning a bunch of game nights. As you already know, every Friday we're going to be doing a game night. Tonight, game night. It's going to be on Soulbound Discord because they're being supporting our game nights. So last week we did it on the Wayfinders discord. This week is going to be on Soulbound. But starting next week, we kind of settle in our home, the old school club discord, and we'll be, I mean, our goal is to have fun with the community so that's why we're looking forward to play Kokori forgotten playland.

Community Initiatives and Engagement

So many party games too. And actually also like any web two game that could be enjoyable for our community because our main goal is to gather community around gaming in general, of course with our main goal to onboard as many people to web three as possible. And we're also preparing our guild for off the grid. So that's something that I'm also excited because that's more my kind of game. I'm such a tryhard and I want to play off the grid as much as possible. But at the same time I mean it's really important for me to share a lot of last and good moments with my community. So that's why I'm looking forward to play Kokodi regarding Playland and many games like yours. Party games, fun games. Thank you Fred.

Final Thoughts and Future Events

I mean it has been amazing to share the first Cocoa town hall with you. Aside from everyone that has been with us through the whole space. It has been amazing and I know a lot of my really good friends have come here and stand here with us through this amazing time. We're super excited for you and especially because I'm sure there is a lot of collaboration coming forward. So I'm super excited about that. I also want to thank Trophi and Jake, Rod and all the ones and Mikael for joining before. And I just want to say that for the Kokodi tournament, anyone that wants to actually join, you can go to our twitter and we have there all the way how you can participate and where you should be joining to do that. Also we have cocoapox, it's already on telegram so you can search that.

Claiming Rewards and Upcoming Events

I already pinned it up. And don't forget that our core loot boxes you're going to be claiming till the 23 October. And to everyone that is going to be on the Avalanche summit on Buenos Aires, I am going to be there. So if you're going to be joining, please connect with us. We would love to connect as well. We're going to be participating on the wayfinders event. We will. We will be on the conference as well. So if you want to try out cocody, you will be able to actually play with me in there. And the other thing that is very, very important, we are going to have a site event with fetching that's going to be happening on the 18th.

Merchandise and Community Engagement

I'm going to have merch, a really cute stickers from cocode and some really cool t shirts that the creative team have done. So that's going to be super exciting. Fred, you already have yours. Don't worry, I have your. I'm going with an empty. I'm going with an empty suitcase only for all the merch that you're going to give me, that's the only thing I'm going to say. So you better have like a few of each model of whatever you're doing. I am. Don't worry. I got you. I have it. And you know what? We're going to have to, like, literally record a TikTok.

Connecting Through Community Town Halls

Like, we like, yeah, let's do it. Let's find which one we have to do because, I mean, that will be, who knows? Maybe we go viral. I don't know. But that's kind of like the idea. Yeah. You know, to everyone that wants to continue joining the community town halls, all those community town halls are going to be happening every month. And at the same time, don't forget that on Tuesdays we have our lAtam space with the Latin American community. And this Tuesday I'm going to do it from Buenos Aires. So that's going to be exciting. I was thinking to do it with video and maybe like, you know, showcase you know, and do a Twitter space with everyone while I'm walking around the conference.

Gratitude and Closing Remarks

I don't know, that's kind of like an idea, but. Well, I just want to say thank you to everybody for coming and joining our town hall. It has been amazing to say, you know, to share with you all our updates, respond to most of the community questions and definitely connect with so many friends during this amazing time with Cocoa game. So thank you to everybody.
