Behind the Mic

Evening Greetings and Initial Impressions

Evening. Evening. How we doing? Hi, guys. I can hear you great. Yeah. You sound. You sound amazing. I sound sick. What's happened? I don't know why. I made myself sound a bit more sick when said that. I just want to bring up. Bring up your boss. Yeah. What's happened? I don't know. I just got sick. How you doing, though? You? Good overall? Yeah. Jeremy, generally, I haven't spoke. Spoke to you for a long time, I think. Last time I captained you lot of spoke to you. Rather. You hated Salah. Do you remember that? When was. I mean, are we going back a few years?

Recollection of Past Fantasy Football Decisions

It was about two weeks before you triple Captain De Bruyne. Was that on the. That was on surgery. Oh, surgery, yeah. That's a great. That was a really late night recording as well, wasn't it? It was. But you hated Salah, and now you hate Harlan. I don't know. The hate of Harland. I don't hate Harland. I just think. Do you like Harlan? I think he's got a temperament that I wouldn't be able to get on board with in general, day to day life. So maybe. He was born. Please. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. No, I mean, I don't hate anyone, but I just think there's different ways to play the game. Unfortunately, he got ten goals in his first. What was it? Five games? Which is pretty annoying. It was pretty funny. Just insane.

Discussion on Fantasy Football Players and Strategy

Like, I was like, when will it end? I mean, I started really well, apart from if Harlan didn't go off, like, imagine if Harlan just got, like, six goals. I mean, to be fair, you're doing well now. You are doing well now. But I wouldn't say you started really well when you were. What were you, like, 4 million? No, I've never. I've never been a lot. I was only. 1.8 million is the lowest. Maybe we overegged it. Everyone was like, oh, you what you now 4 million? I, like, gave me one. I was 65k. Like, great star, and then I just. Red Arrow, Red Arrow. Down to 1.8 million.

Reflection on Fantasy Football Standing and Players' Performance

I almost. I think a lot of people share this. I didn't really about the points when they were happening. I was thinking mainly about you. I know your work patterns. Just because I knew when you would start tweeting. Yeah, well, like, you can tell if I'm on a late shift or early shift. Yes. Or you just lie. Yeah. No, I mean, the. I mean, Saturdays, I'm always late, so it's kind of. I can't really tweet much on a Saturday when it's always busy. There was one time when they're like, I think it must have been the Ipswich game where it's like it was mid August perhaps, or late to mid August bank holiday weekend or maybe the Bournemouth air show.

Managing Expectations During Busy Weeks

And it's like I'm just looking at my phone when I can, when I've got a spare minute because August is just manic. And then you look at your phone, you see Harland like hat trick and you're doing your head in and you're dealing with the british public and you feel yourself like dealing with the public worse because you've just checked that Harlan's got a hat trick and people have triple captain him and it's like, have. You snapped at a customer? Oh, I snap at people. If they're, if they're horrible people, I snap. Does it coincide more with if Harlan scored when Palmer scored, for example, were you just handing out free Teddy bears? Yeah, I'm skipping along. Can I help you at all? I didn't ask for help.

Analyzing Decision-Making Around Player Choices

No, but I want to help. I want to help. Yeah, but you, I mean, you triple captain Harland, so obviously no regrets from that point of view because 17 points is. Yeah, there's no regrets. I mean, I'm not going to say I'd rather waited for Palmer because I didn't even captain him. So. Yeah, obviously happy with that. But it does. I mean, there's going to be a time, isn't there, when everyone else is using their triple captain? Yeah, I'm holding out for double game weeks. I know that there's going to be less double game weeks this season, but stuff happens always, right? We've always had something happen. Maybe.

Speculating on Fantasy Game Chips and Strategy

I mean, I mean, Ben seems to suggest, as in Ben Krellan obviously seems to suggest there wasn't going to be many doubles and blanks. Sure. Yeah. And it all relies on what that mystery chip is. But I couldn't think of any chip that's not going to better played in a double unless it's something ridiculous. Unless it's something ridiculous that you have to play in January. Like promoted players get double points, for example, as in the challenge style ones. I mean, this mystery ship that they saved and then they go, you can only pick african players this week I. Was thinking that because I saw, I mean, I've not been playing challenge, but I saw this week they've got, I think you can only pick Asian players and there's only one goalkeeper from Asia Pacific.

Thoughts on Player Performance and Fixtures

There's one goalkeeper I believe he doesn't start for his team. There's Chris Wood as a striker. As in. Yeah. I'm hoping they don't see something like that. No, I can't say. If they saved, like, the mystery chip is being withheld. It's going to be mega, right. It's going to be decent enough. So like, limitless is probably the most obvious one. It could be, I'm guessing. So posh free hithenne. A posh free hit. And they might introduce that again next season. Like, you have to use a free hit first half of the season and then a limitless in the second half or something.

Discussion on Fantasy Strategy and Expectations

It would be a bit underwhelming, but I mean, I wouldn't complain. You'd probably still go out without Haaland on it. Unlimited budget. You'll have lower eo on DCF. Don't get into math stuff, please. No, no, I mean, I don't. I don't. We don't know what it could be. I mean, it's not going to be completely all out there and they want to encourage people to come back into the game. Maybe. I don't know how it's going to work, really. I don't know. It's completely. But that was the thought behind the triple captain anyway.

Analyzing Future Decisions and Player Choices

But I mean, it feels like very game week one, by the way, doesn't it? No, no, that's fair enough. We'll get into game week seven, chat in a bit. But I mean, for me, I want to like, get through the winter, get through to spring and then assess things, how things lie before I play chips. I mean, I know I used my free hit last season, but that's a. Wild card last week. Yeah, that's fine. Wild card game before. It's fine. Oh, that was it? Yeah, it's fine. Like I say, it's 800k.

Current FPL Standings and Players' Insights

You're what? Just below me? Just below me. I am, yeah. I don't know how that happened. I actually. Well, I did. I did know you had Palmer. Yeah, it did take the shine off a little bit. Yeah, Palmer's helped me a lot. Can't complain. But you just play the fixtures. So. Palmer to Mavidini next week. Easy, easy. Move. Are you serious? What? To get Haaland, it would have to be. Yeah. Okay.

Evaluating Players for Upcoming Matches

Like Holland this week. So if girls gave me seven stuff. So like, Harlan's great for this week. I'm not going to say he's not because home fixture against mid table team Fulham probably, and captain the ball. Sure, fine. Like great. There's no dispute about that, but the fixtures for other teams and other players is very good as well this week. So it seems to me like taking someone out when they've got a good fixture to get. Haaland this week doesn't seem worth it as much next week when a lot of the big teams are facing each other and there's a lot of clashes, which can make it quite tricky between eight and eleven.

Decisions Regarding Player Changes

As in you don't want to take Palmer out now? No, not this week. Home to Forest. I know Forest are decent defensively, but it doesn't seem we're weak. You get as taken out Palmer at home to Forest and using two freeze to then get Harland. Wouldn't that be the kind of flex that you would love? Like, imagine you got four goals from Palmer, then sold him. It's the flex I'd love, but I'd even love it more next week when Palmer's got four goals followed by like a brace, and then it's like, guess what, guys?

Personal Insights into Previous Transfers

Look at me. Exactly. I guess you can do it either way. You can manage to turn it into a flex. Basically. The ego on me, honestly. Plus that midfield's pretty special. You named the space after it. Yeah. Thanks for bringing that up. I mean, I love it. Made me chuckle so much when I sawyer do that and I was like, I got the same one. Yeah. It's weird.

Team Adjustments and Future Thoughts

I was annoyed I didn't spot it earlier. I think everyone was tinkering with their wild cards and obviously we used ours and I just was like, what, anagrams? Can I spell? And you had the e in there. There it was, yeah. Eze. Yeah. Are you playing eze this week or not? I mean, to be honest, I know you asked me to do this, but I'm not doing anything this week. I think I am rolling.

Assessing Transfer Strategies

Yeah. The thing is, I used three. I had three transfers last week. I used them all as the Pedro, so I need to start rolling again, really. I mean, I've only got one arsenal player, but the boat sailed on that now, isn't it? I mean, I was looking at bringing, like, Califiori in, for example, but I'd have to lose Trent or Poirot. It just doesn't seem worth it this week. I think it would be ridiculous.

Navigating Through Team Challenges

I mean, I've got lucky enough that Arsenal conceded two last week. Just got to get one through, one more game. Yeah, and if it's a clean sheet and it should be at home to saints, but. And then just hope the defenders match it. You just hope defenders get like six and then sac and get the hall. Exactly. And then Havertz.

Decisions on Starting Players

I mean, I've got no way to get to Havertz, but I mean, the choice from World cup four was basically it was either to have a, like a shitty striker. So I got Calvert Lewin alongside Harland, but that enabled Palmer, so yeah, that's a good thing. So you playing as a. There's no one else you can switch as they with this week. You got to play them, have you?

Final Thoughts on the Ongoing Fantasy League

I mean, that spur midfield is set and forget for me because I've got, I mean, I've got Harlan, Palmer, Saka and Trent. So if Lewis doesn't start, I've got to play dunk at home to spurs. This doesn't feel great. Yeah, I mean, I'm telling myself he took a direct free kick the other day, so I'm just clinging on to that. I'm assuming that's why, you know, on things like review his eds higher than other defenders.

Perspectives on Players and Their Roles

I mean, not this week, but when we look back when they had good fixtures and he's not injured. Mm. Yeah. That's the only spin I can put on it. I wouldn't feel great about it because I'm benching Eze. So I'm just sperm without the e this week, but I have got some. I'm starting Lewis over Eisenhouse. But you're paying four at the.

Reflections on Strategy and Player Choices

Four at the back. I'm playing for the back. I'm going to still play Robertson and Trent. I think I prefer Robertson. Torres a. No, I don't. I really don't. I do. Still, there's a big part of me that still thinks Eze's on penalties. Yep, could be. I mean, I don't think we know he's going to play 90 minutes.

Analyzing the Reliability of Players

I mean, you look at Palace's recent results, they've been awful. And he's probably not as good as we thought he was going to be. But it's always that one go from Eze is kind of like nine points. Like it's done. Oh, it's ten last time, wasn't it? Because I bought, I got him after that. And that was funny because that was a free kick, wasn't it? So it wasn't even a high xg chance.

Looking Back at Player Performance Trends

I think actually looking at it, that's his lowest xg in a game, was the one he scored in. And he has been good at like leading up to that goal, he was missing chances hitting woodworks and it was. Him and Bruno wasn't it tweets about him and Bruno's underlying stats. But this is Liverpool and I really trust their defence.

Evaluating the Stability of Players Performance

I know they've conceded last week but I still think the clean sheets there and Robertson impressed me. Wolves, I mean Kiddobad insist don't know how Saboslide didn't score. I don't know how Johnson stated that last week. Yeah, that was crazy. But I don't know. I'd still rather play as a myself. Just I've got Leif Davis as well.

Discussing Alternative Options and Strategies

I'm even actually at the moment got Leaf Davis ahead of Eze on the bench. Yeah, that's crap. See, leaf Davis. I think we talked about him the other day actually. I mean obviously not on this but on Twitter. It feels like doughty to me. Doughty pissed me off, if I'm totally honest. Last season Doughty was great.

Reflecting on Previous Decisions and Their Impact

I know he pissed. He gets like two points. But I need to get these biases out of my head. But I just remember Ermin and are in about making the transfer or not or just playing Gabrielle away to some, you know, a city or something and bringing in doughty just blocked all these Gabrielle points. And I know that's not a good enough reason because I mean it's not even the same player.

Evaluating Current Players and Potential Transfers

I mean it's not. It's not the same player. And I have looked at him a couple of times like could I. Because I've got half a million in the bank. Could I do Bednar actor Leaf Davis? I don't know. He feels like a three or four pointer at best to me. You'd think Ipswich is going to concede every game. That's. Yeah, but the clean sheets are hard.

Assessing the Value of Players in Current Matches

To come by, that's the thing. And then the bonus is going to be harder to come by. Or so we're told. Anyway. To be fair. It is looking like that with them. So I don't know. I think the fixtures are really good attacking. I think attacking potential perhaps not this week, but moving forward against other promoted teams.

Strategizing for Upcoming Fixture Matches

And there's some games that I plan to play in because of the other matchups. Like I've got whenever Liverpool play Arsenal, I've got Robinson and Saliba on my bench and playing Davis that week and things like that. So I've got Davis in there to kind of make me keep my big defenders but bench them and hopefully Davis can do business then.

Thoughts on Player Trends and Future Potential

I mean, I remember when the prices dropped. I think Leif Davis was one of the first players that dropped and he was 4.5 and my initial thought was that's a steal. I was convinced he was going to be five. The problem is the rest of the. The rest of the players have prices dropped as well. And I mean that half a million could be very constrictive if you're not going to play him very often because.

Final Reflections on Player Performance

A lot of gone greaves and I think. I look at Greaves and think, you're not going to play greaves, so you're stuck with this. Eleven. I wonder how nailed he is. He looked awful. Like he genuinely did. I didn't see the game on Sunday. I mean, I did, unfortunately. To be fair, it wasn't a bad game. It was a pretty good game. But he. Yeah, he did not look good.

Thoughts on Future Players and Team Decisions

But I'm not an Ipswich fan so I don't know how. How nailed he is. I mean, I've got bednarak. Much of a muchness. You'd imagine Ipswich has a slightly better chance of a clean sheet. But you're not going to play Greaves over like Saliba, even in bad fixtures. But you would play Davis and that's why I kind of wanted to go that way with it.

Discussing the Usefulness of Backup Defenders

Yeah. You wouldn't play them over an Arsenal defender. I wouldn't. I wouldn't anyway. But Davis. I guess the thing. Thing with the backup defenders right now is obviously you've got Lewis as well. Yeah. So it's knowing we could get a leak that Lewis's bench. So you kind of want someone playable at four. 4.5. Is.

Final Player Analysis and Decisions

Yeah, I. I'm happy to play Lewis this week. I think he will start. But I'm also happy to play Davis in weeks where fixtures are tougher for Liverpool and Arsenal because I don't particularly think a transfer on transferring out Robertson to someone like Poirot. If their fixtures turn good, then you're doing something else. I want to kind of do my transfers on attackers and big attackers when I get the chance.

Discussing Game Impact

No. And that's huge because, I mean, well, obviously most games are 95 minutes plus, so you're losing out on the best 25 minutes. You're almost certain he's getting subbed. Yeah, yeah. And I know there's that risk. I mean, to be honest, a big reason. I think a lot of people didn't even consider Palmer captain and Saka captain. Well, no people did do Saka, but Palmer in particular was. I mean, we thought he was gonna be subbed early because of the week before. The week before, I think he barely went over 60 minutes. And I know Felix, he played quite big minutes in midweek, so maybe not, but I feel like there's a few players who we can't be sure are going to get 90 plus.

Player Substitution Concerns

I think Watkins is. I think he's definitely one of them. I mean, he's going to get less minutes than Calvert Lewin. He's 5.5. I would say Palmer is going to get more than that. I think that game, he got a few knocks, so he was down on a lot where he's just saying, sorry. I did mean Watkins. I don't know why I started talking about Palmer, but just Watkins minutes. Yeah, completely right. I think Rodgers is Durresto, so he's off. He has used Watkins and Duran together. It's not as though Duran doesn't play without Watkins.

Management Strategies

He has been there with him as well. So you'd think that Rogers played a lot minutes midweek and Watkins came off maybe on Sunday. Rogers is the one to get subs and Watkins does stay on with Jaran. Depends how the game's going, I guess, but possibly, yeah. I mean, I do think. I mean, obviously I'm starting Rogers every week. I think we're getting quite lucky the last two weeks. Do you think so? I think he's an absolute baller and I think he's just driving as the box. I just love watching him, I think. He's been, he's been fun to watch.

Evaluating Player Form

I don't think he looked particularly good against Ipswich. I mean, obviously they were. I didn't see that one. I mean, even if you look at like his sofa score rate and I mean, the fact people saying, why is he. No bonus? And then you look at it and he won like one out of twelve duels. I don't know, his underlying stats aren't particularly good. I don't feel that comfortable. I was actually thinking earlier, I'm playing Rogers every week in a three, five, two. Would I not rather just have. Because I was thinking playing DCL every week was going to be a problem.

Comparison with Other Players

But I mean, DCL is far clearer. Rogers as an asset for 3.3 difference. You think so? I don't. I think Villa is so. I mean, just, you've got the penalties, you've got the stats. We don't know. Rogers is not on penalties yet. No, no, I'm talking about DCL. Yeah, but Rogers could be on pens. That's when I wild card I had in my head. Because Rogers took one for the under 21s, didn't he? He did, yeah. And I was like, oh, maybe Rogers will be on penalties.

Future Considerations

But actually that was absolute stupid logic. I don't, I don't really think we've got much evidence to say he is. I don't know if Duran takes penalties, but Tielemans, there was a lot of talk about a few weeks ago. I don't know how big of a threat Juran is. Maybe Watkins wants to get another go. I just think it's a bit of a reach that we think we're going to get penalties out of him. And when he got the ten pointer against Wolves, he had no shots like 0.00 xg. Where have these villa. These villa pens are dried up because last season everyone had Douglas Louise going at Penn every week.

Analyzing Previous Performances

Yeah. Wound me up a treat. Douglas Louise, there was posts from people going, how come you haven't got Douglas Louise? Seriously? The funny thing about that, yeah, I love penalty takers and I just couldn't do it. And I mean, he was coming up strongly in all the models and then. Yeah, he just kept doing it, didn't he? And when he got them as well, they were double digit holes. Because I think when you've got forward players like Rogers, like Watkins, they can, they're good at winning penalties.

Teams and Penalties

They put the body in the way you'd expect, the way Villa play, like attacking team get into the box a lots of players get into the box. I'm surprised they haven't had more penalties this season. I mean, there's been a drop off on penalties across the board so far, hasn't there? Yeah, true. And I think that's partly why people aren't doing as well because I think that is genuinely a thing that we do is as engaged FPL managers is just buy as many penalty takers as possible. Captain penalty takers. I mean, look, Salah, this week scores a penalty 20 points to captain us.

Impact of Captains on Performance

Yeah. And if those penalties aren't materializing, we're just getting the most random, like Luis Diaz, you know, halls and stuff like that. Players that I guess engage managers who want to captain penalty takers just aren't going to captain generally. I know there is. There are exceptions to that. Yeah. You don't see many people not captaining penalty takers. No, you don't. You don't. I think I've probably captain penalty takers every week this week. Every every week this season.

Assessing The Current Season

Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. So I think that's part of what. What's happened here as well. Just while you're mentioning, obviously, penalty takers. Who'S your other forward at the moment that you got on the bench? So I'm proper thin on the ground here. so I was listening to the wire yesterday. It's really good. And Praz basically went through. I'd recommend anyone listening to it. I'm not going to try and repeat what Praz said, but he said there was three structures to have Saka Palmer.

Discussion on Players' Performances

All it's doing is saying if he plays every game, he's better than Trent. As in statistically? Yeah, because it's a big if. Like, will he play? But I just mean his underlying numbers, because there's a lot of players out there that if they were playing minutes, they'd be good. Bit like with Man City when, you know, Mahrez and Sterling, like, they were brilliant. If they. If they were nailed on. Someone made a point. I was listening to something where it's like even if Lewis plays two out of three, he's still well clear of other defenders in his price range. I mean, that price range, I don't even think it's close in the same price ranges. Please, please don't knock Leif Davis, mate. But come on. And I'm not having that slander. Like, come on, if Leif Davis was the same price as Trent and you had to pick one on Limitless. Yeah.

Captaining Players and Risk Factors

You'd go for Trent, wouldn't you? Of course. It's the same kind of thing. Really? Yeah. I mean, if. I mean, Lewis with these fixtures and if he plays is gold dust. It is. It really is. And everyone should have him. It's just the. The risk is the minutes. That's the only thing. And if Pep doesn't like what he sees at halftime, Lewis can come off. That's one point. Did you see a stats midweek? No. Go on, get better stats than Harland. Was it XGI? Like two or something? Was it? It wasn't two, but it wasn't far off. I remember at one point checking, it was about 1.6. And Man City's entire XG was three. So it's over half the XGI was going through. Rico Lewis, he could have had so many points for you.

Mini League Dynamics and Manager Comparisons

And, I mean, you've got to be. Filled hard on bye from. Chances are. I mean, I had him in Champions League fantasy, my team. I just copied Fran. Okay. And then brought in Vicky Lewis. Nice. But yeah, it will be interesting because if he did lose his spot. I think the money becomes even tighter. I think players like Rogers, Lewis, they're the ones that are enabling pretty decent teams. If you're not clued in though, people are going to go Gvardiol because he scored last week and he may cross more. I mean, the problem, this is another thing actually. I'm in a few mini leagues and the ones I'm in with like engaged managers, I'm doing okay, but not amazingly, but I'm actually doing better than I was the last few seasons.

Bench and Team Choices

I've always started quite badly. The leagues are in my mates who don't really care about the game, their teams, while they look like, if you put them on Twitter, they look bad, they're not bad picks, if you see what I mean. As in even like the worst picks they've got are pretty decent. Like they have like Claudia Kanji in the, you know, defenders. But I think once you spend the money, I don't think you can get a too bad team anyway. You're not gonna. I think it's hard to have a really bad team. Yeah. You know when people used to feel like they'd go Kante and they'd be like 25% owned.

Analyzing Current League Trends

Yeah. And people get into him because, you know, he's 80% of the world's water. All that, all that kind of stuff that they get Kante in. But people too clued up now. I mean, there's a few guys that work this Bornana in and stuff like that after a couple of girls early on. True. Yeah, there's still people doing that, but. I mean, some of those might be robots. Literally. Literally. Remember all those Indonesian accounts? Yeah, Steve, that sounds really like border patrol.

Soccer and Team Strategy Discussions

But all these accounts from Indonesia got like blocked last season because they were just, I think they were trying to manipulate the price changes and they were. Top of the leaderboard as well, weren't they, overall? Like, yeah, all of them. Yeah. But, yeah, I thought I look at teams without Haaland so far, though, and they've done well. There's some good, like if I go through just like some of the mini leagues and I look at top of the mini leagues, it's people that haven't owned Haaland all season because they've been able to fill their squads with like good, solid picks rather than squeezing like, you're playing the same eleven every week because you're, you've squeezed everyone in.

Transfer Dilemmas and Manager Opinions

Other managers who haven't. Yeah. For the last two weeks have been. Changing and had more free transfers as well. Can you still hear me? Yeah, I can still hear. Yeah. Did it lose connection or something? It was really weird, whatever that was going on there. I don't know if it was you or me. I'm not sure. Just gonna check my Internet. 1 second. Maybe it was me, actually. The disconnect from the Wi-Fi. Okay.

Captaincy Choices and Player Evaluations

Are you on Haaland this week, captain? I think so. That's. That's literally the only decision. I can't believe we've not talked about that. I think I'm going to captain Haaland. I was pretty. I was pretty set on it. But to split between Saka and Haaland, you really have to try and, I don't know, you have to kind of find some bias. And again, going back to the point of, I think a lot of people might be a bit more aggressive because they've not started as well. Maybe more people are going to gamble on, you know, Saka over Haaland this week.

Assessing Fixtures and Probable Outcomes

I don't think it's much of a gamble, though, because I think Fulham are decent enough. Where is the decision? Because saints are probably the worst team. I mean, saints are the worst team. Yeah. So then you talk about. I don't think it's a gamble. It's not a gamble to captain at home. If you're on an Arsenal player against Southampton, that doesn't seem like a gamble. No, I probably used the wrong word there. It's not like you're captaining, it's a hedge. It's more of a. Against Newcastle. I don't know.

Soccer's Performance Metrics

You talked about earlier with Haaland's goal share, didn't you like saying he might get 50% of the goals, for example, I love Saka. It just doesn't feel like it's that high. But having said that, I mean, if you're on penalties, because I've seen people, some people say he's not got a high ceiling. Saka, that is. But that's absolute rubbish because I think if you're on penalties, you've always got a high ceiling. Yeah, I disagree with that as well. I think in a fixture like this, if Arsenal did score five or six, a lot of assists would come from Saka as well as maybe the odd.

Points Potential and Game Strategies

Goal in it and the possible penalty. Yeah, yeah. So you could suddenly get three assists and a goal max bonus and that's 20 points. I mean, the penalty alone as a captain can be worth like 16 for a midfielder. So, yeah, I am on Haaland. But yeah, I do take the point that, you know, if Haaland scores a brace and Saka scores a brace you're going to better off having. Having Saka. I guess there's some tactical thoughts I need to think about as well because obviously my only Arsenal player is Saka.

Risk Factors and Game Considerations

So there's a lot of. There's a lot of captain's goals that aren't going to be that great for me anyway. And then I guess it's whether you want to hedge it or proper go again, as in how all in do you go? As in do I just go completely away from Arsenal and gamble? It's such a. Such a risky fixture to gamble because this is. People said it's a risky.

Reflections on Past Decisions

I went with one Arsenal and captain Haaland when they played Leicester at home. Yeah, that's true. And that was a massive gamble. I had some, honestly, I posted what my team was probably going to be and some of the comments about you're going to. I think one said I've trampled it said I was going to die because I don't have Arsenal defenders. I think you'll be all right, buddy. Yeah, yeah, no, I'd probably be right, like, yeah, I mean, I didn't actually think Leicester would score but Man City could have kept a clean sheet as well.

Evaluating Goalkeeper Performance

But in these fixtures you'd expect, like Ray Ed to not make the saves which he didn't like. You expect the clean sheet but you wouldn't expect rare to get bonus or anything more like. I think the six points is fine. That's brilliant. Yeah, get your six points. The real worry is, and I know the defenders well, Gabrielle can score goals. Yeah. The real worry is the attackers, isn't it? Because really the ceiling for the defender.

Arsenal's Goal Threat Analysis

If anything, the defenders are worse in this fixture, obviously excluding the goal threat and Arsenal. I know they're very good at set pieces, but if they don't score, they're much less likely to get bonus because we're. I mean, Rob T saying they're going to win three nil. Some people are saying they might win 4-5 or 6-0. So I don't think it's going to that, like, that comment about I was going to die because I don't have Arsenal defenders was probably a bit.

Planning for Future Fixtures

A bit strong because it's probably six points against. I mean, even if Porridge gets two points, I've lost four points on the field. Like, we move, like. Yeah, I. For me, Havertz and Saka is close as captaincy. I know you penalties and stuff. Oh, I think Saka so far. Yeah, but he does have penalties.

Evaluating Player Valuations

I guess that's the thing. You think Saka's so far clear of Havertz. Yeah. Because the only thing I think brings in my thinking, I think I'm going to go Haaland. The bit that worries me about Saka is, like I said, if Saka scores two, Harlan scores two, Saka gets more points. So Saka's got the positional advantage and we assume he's got a pretty much guaranteed clean sheet.

Implications of Positioning on Points

And he actually points to that clean sheet. Yeah. Yeah. So I think if you're saying Saka's maybe equal to Haaland because of positional advantage, you're losing that, aren't you? If you're going Havertz against Saka. Fair point. Fair point. And Saka seems to favour the bonus based on. Well, based on the last game. And if Havertz goes off anyway, even if without the armband, it's still great, it's still amazing.

Assessing Risky Captaincy Decisions

Like, if Havertz does get the hat trick. Exactly. Then it's. Exactly. Still loving it. I think you'll be crazy going away from. If you're picking between those two, I don't see how you go Havertz over. Oh, yeah, maybe I'd have to have a bit of fun and Captain Havertz and go differently. Like, I captained Adeyemi in Champions League.

Adapting to League Dynamics

I saw that, like, the thrill of going against everyone and capturing something else. I didn't even know who he was. I had a lot of players, Dortmund and Club Bruges in match day one. So I watched the Dortmund game. Might be an early kick off, maybe. When you did the Andy Martin. I test did the Andy Martin Lye and Adam.

Transitioning Player Performances

He was like, wow, this kid's special. So home to a Scottish team. Yeah, definitely. No. Impressive. I heard it was very low XG hat trick as well. I didn't. I didn't check the stats, actually. But you only got 48 minutes. Yeah, I think got injured, didn't he? Yeah. Kirsten. Yeah.

Concluding Thoughts on the Week

To be honest, mate, I haven't really got much else to say this week. Yeah, I wanted to see what you. I mean, because our teams aren't too different and I think even we'll perhaps get even closer in a couple of weeks based on if I get Haaland and keep the same side kind of players. But then I'm losing Parma, you see, which is. Yeah, that's. I mean, we've got the option.

Resource Management and Team Strategy

If you've got Saka and Parma, you've got the option of losing one, haven't you? As in, if you have to get Son, you have to get Foden. I could lose Laka, like slacker Havertz to. I actually, no, actually, I can't. I'm, I think it was like, cause Saka's cheap. That's just a prize thing.

Understanding Price Fluctuations

It was like 0.1 off doing Saka to Mavadidi and Havertz to Haaland. Let's see. So 10.7. This is, this shows I haven't done any FPL stuff this season. I didn't realize Palmer was so much more expensive. So it was, yeah. I genuinely didn't know that it was close. And if Havertz and Saka do go up in price, then I can sell Saka for Mavadidi and get Haaland through Havertz.

Evaluating Player Value

But it was the Parma route, so. Yeah, I mean, at that price, yeah, I'd have no problem. I mean, the original plan was just to hold Saka, but it's just nice having the option of Saka or Palmer. True. Do you prefer Palmer to Saka? If it was like money, no option. Really.

Reflecting on Player Decisions

I genuinely don't know at the moment. Like traditionally, as in when I sold wild carded Saka out in four, I think that was the first time I hadn't owned Saka in. I genuinely don't know how long. I've always just held Saka. Mm. I've never really seen it as a question not to have him.

Thoughts on Player Performance Trends

And I'm pretty confident Saka and Palmer are better valued than Salah. I'm very similar with Trent, I think in the last five seasons, I haven't owned Trent for like ten weeks. That's it. There you go. I guess we just have these players, we just feel better just holding and I guess some people feel like that with Bruno and he's a lot cheaper than those.

Difficulties in Pricing

But I mean, we wanted a tougher, I wanted tougher pricing, but this is harder than I thought it would be. No, I'm loving it. I'm loving the dilemmas because I know I want Foden as well. So I love, I mean, they've got three free transfers next in for game week, eight if I roll this week. So actually interesting.

Strategic Moves for the Upcoming Gameweek

I could do, I could do Saka to Foden as well and my three free transfers. So Saka to Foden, Havertz, Haaland, and have the double attack there and then Palmer need to be downgraded to someone. But, you know, it's so mad because I was thinking about last season, I was just thinking because where I'm stood is where I was speaking to Praz about when.

Reflecting on Team Management

So Praz ended up benching Foden against Brentford and a few managers did. And when he scored a hat trick, it's because the pricing was so easy last year that, I mean, I remember I benched Palmer multiple times and, you know, he went wild in several of them. But it's just weird how we're now having to talk about removing Palmer, removing Foden, all this kind of stuff. Whereas last season we were just benching these players.

Evolution of Manager Strategy

Like using them. Like little rotation pieces. Yeah, exactly. Like, you can't bench Palmer. Like in Liverpool in game of gate, you can't go, yeah, I bench Palmer this time. That's. That seems crazy, doesn't it? Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't be. I definitely wouldn't. Although I can understand why some people bench Saka. Did I bench Saka the other week, actually?

Recalling Managerial Decisions

What, for Man City? I need to know now. Oh, no, I sold him. Yeah. Which is the right decision on my part because there's two tough fixtures when Gabrielle scored. But, yeah, these kind of decisions. So, I mean, it's. For me, it's not the most exciting week and I think a lot of people actually, just because I think, I guess we're all rolling ahead of the next swing.

Future Predictions

Most people are. Hopefully something happens in the next couple of days where people have to use another transfer and I'll just start Leif Davis, Orezzehen. That'd be nice if you had a problem. Another problem, that'd be good. Then you have to stow someone else. What was the problem I had earlier? Oh, bloody Nkunku, didn't I? And you've had a guard in Kunku yet to do some transfers.

Strategic Reflections

The thing was with that, if I'd gone, I know we're going back a bit now, but if I'd just done Nkunku to Rogers, I probably wouldn't have had to wildcard because I was gonna do Odegaard to Eze anyway. That was the tipping point to getting Gnuk out, like straight away before you lost anything. Yeah, well, just that was the same week that Rogers then, like, the week after is when Rogers scored that penalty for England under twenty ones.

Prospects of Player Promotions

And I just convinced myself that he's gonna be on penalties, he's the future. And then I've watched him play a bit and thought he's, like I said earlier, he's alright. He seems like he's a good player, but I think he's getting hyped up a lot. Like, I've seen people upset because he wasn't in the England squad, was he? Well, people are getting upset because he didn't feature in that. Yeah, because the England squad.

Current Player Evaluations

Was that too? I'm pretty sure he wasn't in the England squad because otherwise people wouldn't have been upset about it. No, he wasn't. He wasn't in the England squad. Gibbs White was. Yeah. I mean, Gibbs White then puts me about that. That's my one regret. Like my biggest regret this season. Like, you can't change Haaland's ten goals. Like, I wasn't going to go with him early on. That's fine.

Reflecting on Starting Decisions

But my plan was to play Gibbs White in game week two when he scored and bench Havertz. That was my original plan. But because of Havertz's twelve pointer in game week one, I started him away to Villa, which meant I benched Gibbs White when Gibbs White got ten points, maybe. And that decision is annoying the most because I should have been playing Gibbs White and I should have been benching Havertz.

Reevaluating Tactical Choices

But the game week one, Havertz twelve pointer influenced my decision. But it shouldn't. It just goes back to the overconfidence. Yeah, exactly. I shouldn't be. I shouldn't bench Havertz. The weight of Villa, it's tough. But then this actually rolls back to my original plan with Palmer was he was going to become Son, but obviously he scored four goals and I'm using it.

Analyzing Current Player Form

I'm not saying he's in form, I'm saying that I want to make not lose money as a justification. So obviously it does affect you. Last week, Palmer was looking at my team of how good my team was. Palmer was my weak link. I was like, oh, the Brighton home. Don't go that far. I think he was.

Final Thoughts on Management Strategy

A lot of my players had promoted teams. I was like, yeah, Palmer, you can play home to Brighton, that's fine, but. I need to load your team up. I can't even use the joke that I can normally use where I scroll down the mini league for a little bit. I've got to scroll up. If you go to rockstars, I'm thinking two places above you. Oh, you're only two points ahead of me.

Maintaining Competitive Awareness

Oh, you're level with. As he's caught up, I see your team. It's frustrating. Who was palace playing? Oh, he's away. No, Eze was the week there. It's a good. It is a good team, but I mean, obviously, actually, you got to say midfield. So I should have known that the sperm brothers. Part of the reason I didn't know I wanted to do this.

Final Remarks on Gaming Strategies

Because of what you've called this, people are going to be on their phone. It's going to have that on it. People searching spaces, going, sperm chat. I've seen. I've heard lots of weird DMs during this, actually, or more than that. Yeah, I think people are searching for that hashtag. I think, I mean, yeah, maybe as they was the weakest thing, but I don't think it was a bad fixture for Palace.

Summary of Ongoing Discussions

No. I can't remember how we got onto that bit, by the way. Oh, no, I was just saying, like, it just changes my view. Like, Palmer now is brilliant because. Not form outcomes, but, yeah, no, it is weird. It is weird because also you see everyone wanting to go for that player that you were thinking of selling.

Final Reflections and Closing

Yeah. And people are now bringing in Palmer, but I think it's completely the wrong decision. This is what I think. I look at Palmer's pictures. Yeah. Because a lot of people were talking about Trentin and I think I agree. They were saying, you know, you have to have him, as in. And this was literally last week.

Trends in Managerial Decisions

It was literally last week. And now that's changed quite dramatically. Let's look at this. XGI, 0.43. So this is really bad. I'm using the XG model on the actual website, but let's look at Calvert Lewin. She's got better XGI than Calvert Lewin. Obviously, most of that's assists, but still.

Discussion on Player Performances

I knee jerks because of a penalty for the under 21s. His minutes have been obviously very good. Apart from when he got injuries. Basically played 90 plus every week. I mean, he played 90 plus last night, didn't he? I really think you need to, like, you're playing Rogers every week here with your team. Do you not think about upgrading some of your bench so you can bench Rogers in some weeks plan? Eventually. There's probably the money will eventually get moved around. But I keep hearing people talk about, like, robust teams, as in you have like. Like your one where you've got a good bench. But I've done it many seasons and I just end up with loads of bench points.

Value from Bench Points

Yeah, that's okay. That's fine. You get value from that as well. When you get value from it, but then all that value you're using, you're spending on your bench. So I'm just trying something a little different for now. I've got 0.5 in the bank as well. Just as a little flex. Okay. But, yeah, I feel like I'm just going to try, just for a few weeks, putting more money into the first eleven, not money into the goalkeepers order or too much in the defenders because the Lewis. And just see how that goes. Because the thing is we can bank up to five transfers, as you know. So if I just build up a few transfers, I think I need my bench to be that flexible.

Strategy on Transfers

I think. I think you do. Stuart. Stuart to Kunya in a couple of weeks would be nice. Yeah. But then I need a million pound and if I'd done stuff like that, I wouldn't have had Palmer. True. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I'm just trying something a little different. I've not. I think it's going to be with more transfers. I think it's going to be easier to move around the team. So why spend all that money on the bench? But it's still the same amount of transfers just building up over weeks. You still got the same. No, I get that. I get that. But there was a lot of times last season where again, why didn't we like Doughty was I had to use a transfer.

Discussion on Recent Performance

So it's like, I'll just bring doughty in, you know, because I don't want to lose a transfer. I don't want to burn a transfer. Yeah. And obviously you have to get very lucky to roll, you know, four or five in a row, but might as well. Might as well try. I just. Yeah, it's just something I'm trying and it could go very wrong. But what's the worst that happens, really? Like this week I might have to play dunk if Lewis is benched. Yeah. Or I might get Stuart come off the bench with a one pointer. Arsenal, I'd probably. Stuart. Arsenal, I wouldn't play Stuart. No, it's the fixture there. It's the fixture there as well.

Reflection on Defensive Players

But it's not the end of the world and it's going to sound really like a really bad take and it probably is. But you know, when someone spends what they have like a 5 million defender first sub every week just in case there's a surprise bench in, I mean defenders are generally pretty shite. And then you get the two point off the bench rather than the one point off the bench. Exactly. And then I've had 2 million more in my team for six weeks. So I'm just trying something new. It probably looks like quite a casual move to do that but I've already. Had Saliba off the bench for a five pointer this season. There you go. So you gained four points by having a.

Reflection on Players' Impact

As in four points over a one pointer maybe. But for to have a 6 million pound player on the bench when you could have had bednarak bed and a wreck. Bed and a wreck. Yeah, but then I can change it in other weeks where I can go, okay, they still play into Lever and I'm benching Lewis. And to redistribute. And to redistribute the money, you need two transfers anyway. Which will always be the argument why you need a strong bench. So I don't know. I think also a reason I didn't mind doing it before was obviously we had more banks doubles and stuff. I know we're talking about later in the season now.

Historical Performance and Strategies

So yeah, I'm just going to try this. I think this is what I used to do years ago. I wouldn't really spend any money on the bench and that's pricing was a lot harsher. Just go full eleven, get the most you can in the front like first eleven and go from there. Yeah, yeah. I probably do want to have a slightly better first up. I'll agree with you there, but dunk eventually, you know, by the time we get to game week twelve, I think. Dunks are right for twelve, man. Though, like especially recently. It's the short term fixtures though. I mean obviously they played that ridiculous high line and they've got like spurs, Newcastle walls, pool and then city.

Fixture Assessments

Then the fixtures get really good, like so maybe if instead of having dunk I had like a concert, this wouldn't look as bad as it appears, if you see what I mean. That concerto pissed me off as well. Another one. That's annoying. I mean, you can't complain once you've had parma, mate. Like, do you know what? You can sit there like, yeah, Semenyo scores and you're like, I bet you were annoyed. Oh no, I was fine with that. I was absolutely fine with Semenya. Like, you see what I mean? I think he's a good pick. Complain. I've seen people complain.

Player Pricing and Performance Expectations

You know, they've had four goals from Parma and they're like, oh, samenyou so lucky. It's like, oh yeah, he is cheaper, but come on. And Palmer's just put one in top bins from 30 yards out. Yeah, exactly. Also it gets to the point where actually, let's say a player scores like two goals, you're happy. I think it's all right to like be like, yes. When players start scoring like four or five, like your De Bruyne I thing or Palmer this week, I think that's when people get. It gets a bit even If I owned one of those, I start to feel a bit bad because I feel like the punishment is way bigger than it should be. Do you not agree?

Past Gameweek Reflections

I, I feel like I get the good hauls quite well. But I mean you probably benefited from all those double Everton clean sheets during. Was it double game week 34 last year. I, I had Brant's, I had brand's very first sub that came on because someone didn't play. Yeah, but things like that. I do feel bad for people. I had Mateta that week, but I mean it was a pretty, like people talk about Mateta now. Like, he's like Prime Ronaldo. But he really was bad. I mean, I remember I bought him two weeks before going week 34 and the stats we showed on the scout class, he was awful.

Perceptions and Impact of Player Choices

People were like, what the hell are you doing? And then he scored against Man City. Suddenly Kunya was injured. Everyone had Mateta and it's. Oh, yeah, it was quite obvious he was gonna score 24 points. And it's. I just feel like if you don't go for Mateta or you don't go for Parma, I do feel bad. Like, as in, you could put so much effort into the game, some shit like that happens. But the funny part is it is just a game and like going to people. I can't believe you didn't have Palmer. He scored four goals, mate. Do you know how to play FpL?

Balancing Fun and Strategy

It depends who they are, doesn't it? It does if you know and they find it funny. Maybe. Actually, I know people I know very well that would not find that funny. I mean, bricky puts enough in our chat where he's like, yeah, these people have got you blocked handy. These people got you blocked. Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. I'd never block you. I maybe mute you on the weekend occasionally. I haven't done it yet. No, we got the same team, so. It'S fine at the moment. Yeah, we've got the same midfield that we're crushing, but there's.

Form and Team Considerations

There's not much. I mean, just template players, I guess, before. I might go in a bit, but. Who's your keeper, by the way, as well? Henderson. You? Stuart Henderson, who are actively. Well, I started the season with Flecken and I just thought, I just want to spend as little as possible. So you thought, he's changing. Well, I've got Henderson and Turner. I felt like going them. It's not blocking any assets like, because I've got Henderson, Turner and Eze and I could still go to a premium keeper at some point, which I still think might be viable, so I just preferred it to the rotating stuff.

Assessment of Goalkeepers

But Henderson, of all the keepers to pick, did he go down? No, he's 4.5. And before this week he was top for XG prevented. And a lot of people said that was because of the Man United game, but he was actually top before the Man United game. So I think Henderson's fine. I don't. It just depends how much money you want to spend. Yeah, I mean, it's fine. You've gone really bear cheap and I think you could have even got like another point, one off that and gone.

Reflection on Transfers and Strategy

Johnston, if you're going to go, Henderson. I mean, it's too late now anyway. It's goalkeepers. Until the doubles. I don't really think they matter. No. And the only reason they really matter in doubles is because you know they're going to get the minutes well, generally. Even though mentioning Johnson didn't even get Covid for Leeds in a double once. Oh, that season, the free hit with the same week. Was that season when she was our bench piece? That week with three leads, Johnston got Covid.

Future Plans and Strategies

Actually. No. Was he at West Brom? Sorry? He was at West Brom. Yeah, yeah, sorry, West Brom. Was he playing against Leeds that week? Possibly. I can't remember. But I know the, We free hit it in game week 21 a few seasons ago together, me and you. Yeah, I remember. And three games got cancelled. Yeah, we lost. Yeah, that was. Do you know why? It was good. I was number one for most till the very end of the season. I was number one on the MD rank because of a postponed double that I hit.

Team Ranking Discussion

So it showed what we did was right. Yeah, it was a good week. Even though we didn't get points. But I was going into that week, I was 300th overall. Like back in 2021 because you were high as well. You were like. I wasn't 300th. No, but 21, 22 season, you finished top ten k, didn't you? I can't even remember. 21, 22. No, I finished twenty k. I remember that season. I think I had a couple in a row where I was like, top five k and then just did something ridiculous.

Reflections on Strategies

I think what happened that season was that the one where I kept captaining Kane and son kept scoring hat tricks. Yes. And I just kept saying Kane is on penalties. Some stats don't look that great because. I got 500 captain points in the last ten game weeks of the season if you include Kevin de Pointer's triple captain. Yeah, so I was averaging, yeah, I think I was averaging 48 captain points in the last ten game weeks of the season with all the doubles and De Bruyne is 90.

Captains and Gameweek Performances

I haven't heard you mention that for a lot for a long time. Yeah, but they, but that gave me 21 because it was after Concello scored our captain Cancelo at Newcastle. He got 17 points. Yeah, and I, he scored that and we both rehitted. And that was the pain of that was horrible. I think that was the season I kept captain in Foden when everyone was captain in Gunduan. I think anyway, all the seasons blur.

Current Gameweek Decisions

Into one focus on this week. It's just quite boring because we just. We basically just spoke for over an hour about how we're both rolling and you might have a captain dilemma, but you don't really. You kind of just made one up, as in you're not going to Captain Havert. Oh, it's debatable. I think Havertz absolutely brilliant and he's. I think he's going to get a few goals on. On Saturday. I don't think Saka's close enough to goals to like it might get a screen, he might get a pen, might get an assist.

Analyzing Player Choices

But Havertz is right there in and around it more than Saka. Yeah. I did say he scored, what, six in a row at home. I've just made that up. It sounds. I think it sounds like about right. I think Havertz a closer second Saka than you think. And I am. I was. I will probably go with Saka. Yeah. But Havertz captaincy is. Is in my thoughts, really is. And I think Havertz can definitely at least get close to Harlan this week, this game week.

Haaland and Havertz Prospects

I think Harlan gets a brace. I think habits can get a brace as well. I'm just looking at habits now. This is the thing because I'm not doing scout or anything anymore. I don't even look at these things that often. I'm looking now. How come you gave up scout? Just time. Time wise, is it? Yeah, it was just time. Like, I kind of, you know, you work the whole week and then to come home twice a week and then it didn't feel like work.

Time Management and FPL

But it's a lot of time. Yeah. Yeah. I'm cycling quite a lot now. I heard that. Yeah. Would I, mate? That's good. I know it's getting cold now. I need to do more stuff. I'm just shifts. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. But, like, I get. I get knackered when it's. You work until ten one day. Like, I'm working till eight tonight, but I'm back in at eight tomorrow morning. You need to in the mornings?

Exercise and Work Schedule

Yeah. Get an exercise bike. So Ben Carlin's doing it as well. I've got nowhere to put it. Mid on my lounge. Yeah, why not? Right in front of the telly cycle for the whole first half every week. Cycling till habit schools. I'll be at work, certainly. Yeah, that's fair. I don't think we got much else to talk about. I don't think we did anyway, particularly.

Final Thoughts and Closing Remarks

But it's just nice to hear your voice. Yeah, no, it's nice speaking to you. Right. I'll happily do one again if we're maybe on a week where I've got decisions to make. Yeah, I think there is decisions to make. After the international break, there will be really hard choices. I'm really intrigued to see where people go. I think this week could be easy. I don't think people should sell DS if he's starting.

Future Prospects and Player Decisions

I don't think they will, but people are. I think he starts. I think people are desperate that he's benched. So they do, so they do get Palmer. I think that people are hoping kind of DS is benched, actually, here's a. Dilemma I could have and it might be relevant. Let's say I don't think Lewis will benched, but I think that's every week. But let's say he is benched and we find out he's benched ahead of kick off and obviously I've got one free transfer, so I could just play dunk at home to spurs, like we talked about earlier, like, I don't love it.

Player Selection Strategies

You still play Lewis, I think, and maybe he comes on in that situation. I think I'd still go Lewis even if he was benched and either risk that he gets zero minutes or plays like 30 and does well, I just. Don'T think he comes on if they're chasing the game because, I mean, who did they have on the bench last time? Like Doku Savio? They've got so many attacking players on the bench. But does he come on if it's three nil? Yeah, maybe, probably not.

Fixtures and Future Considerations

He didn't come online. Well, I guess Arsenal wasn't 30, was it? But he didn't come against Arsenal, for example, against ten men. But I guess he is a midget, as Luke worded it. I don't know, I think I would just so my option really, because I wouldn't just start Lewis if I knew he was benched. I wouldn't. I probably. I wouldn't start Bednarac away to Arsenal, so it'd be dunk home to spurs. And the only positive I can see from that is he's at home and he does take direct free kicks.

Defender Choices and Future Strategy

So I could get very lucky. But the alternative would be, like I said, I've got 0.5 in the bank, so Bednarak could become any 4.5. Colwell's probably the standout because he's at home to Forest, who don't tend to score very often, but then Colwy's fetch just. Well, they're the same as Palmer's, ironically. then they're pretty bad for the next four. I think you might have to go to an Everton defender. Oh, God.

Team Strategy with Everton Players

I think I would play dunk for what it's worth because I'd rather just roll a transfer. Yeah, okay, I can get that. Nicolenko are home to Newcastle. No, I can't think of anything worse. I'll be put. I'd be out to Everton, ruin my tea time. But then you've got Ipswich the week after. You've got Michael Eko on the bench for like Fulham. Then you got a solid, like, backup.

Backup Player Considerations

He's Sarah and ten. Bednar actually works okay as a Lewis backup. It's just there's two weeks they've got the worst pictures possible. So seven away at Arsenal, nine they're away at city. But outside of that they've got Leicester at home, Everton at home, wolves away. So come game with katie's fine for the bench. Yeah, fine as a cover. Which is why I had them both actually, because I did look at like if Lewis's bench for these games for 4.0, it actually worked quite well because it even worked well the other week.

Team Coverage Discussion

They had a good fixture. I mean, I know they got smashed by Bournemouth, but bloody, what's his name, the other Harwood Bellis scored, didn't he? Yeah, that's funny. And I went for Bednarak because some people were saying they think Harward Bellis is gonna get benched. He did get benched, but then Stephens got sent off. So Harwood bades gets a reprieve and scores and that he's got a price rise as well. I think he's 4.1 now.

Reflecting on Decisions Made

Oh, that's amazing. Yeah. So I made the right decision. I say that looking at a player that's scored one or two points every week. Yeah, I mean. I mean, if you get leaked the Lewis's bench and you have to move Bednarik up, I'm sure there's some 4.5 players that would be decent enough for you to go with. Yeah, I don't think I will do it. I do think I'll play dunk.

Final Thoughts on Team Decisions

But I was just interested if you thought that was it because that's actually where Leaf Davis came in as well. I did think, would Leaf Davis be a bit more fun about West Ham again? That feels like a ceiling of like four or five points. And I think. Yeah, I can agree with that. Yeah, I can agree with that. It's not the five point of, you know, the traditional. He's got a clean sheet but booked.

Conclusions on Player Performance

It's the more like Darwin style, you know? Yeah. When Darwin got three points. Oh, duck, mate, please. Sheffield United, he came on, please. I had triple booked but got an assist. I had triple. Liverpool attack there. Yeah, let's not. Let's not go back to Liverpool attackers. Right, anyway, I'm going to get some food because I'm not eating.

Ending the Conversation

All right, mate. Well, it's nice to wrap up on 4.5 defenders. So who's your favourite before you go, Colwill or Leith? Davis. Oh, Leif Davis over Cole. There we go. Yeah. Even though I think Colwell's look good, I just don't think Chelsea's defense is as much. Although they look better with Chelsea as a whole. Look better when Gusto's playing right back.

Discussion on Chelsea Players

Which. Yes, that's a good balance. That's great balance. And even before the Brighton game finished, like four two, I was like, oh, if Gusto starts, then Chelsea and Parma, it does enhance them. Funny, because I don't see. I agree with that. I completely agree with that. I don't see Gusto himself as a pick, though. No, no. For obvious reasons.

Reflections on Chelsea's Performance

But just like what you're saying, what he does to Chelsea as a whole. Because the week before, Palmer was tracking back into that right back position because Fafano or Dizzarde couldn't really do it. That well because he said he missed four and five, didn't he, Gusto? Yeah. Yeah. Four was the blank and a nice goal against West Ham. And we need to stop moving everything on to Burp Harbour.

Wrap-Up and Future Plans

Get the price wise. Yeah, right, mate, it was good fun. Good stuff, mate. Well done. Do it again when I've got more. Decisions and I'm not ill and I think they're coming. Who's coming? What? Decisions, decisions. Big decisions are coming. As in, do you think we're going to do this on Sunday night? Not this week, but my team smacked.

Looking Ahead to Future Discussions

Give it, give it. Like, this time in two weeks time, they'll be after, like, at the end of the international break when you've got a couple of frees and you're looking at your team thinking, I need to switch this premium. This premium. Yeah, we'll see. I'll speak to. Maybe speak in a couple of weeks. But that's gonna. Yeah, that's gonna be the proper fun thing. Yeah, that is gonna be the proper fun thing.

Final Thoughts on Team Strategy

But I think just while we had the same midfield, we had to do this for the opportunity for that name. That's the only reason we did it. Yeah, well, I didn't. I didn't condone the name, but it was done while I was asleep. You did it at, like, two in the morning as well, didn't you? Or. It's quite late. I don't know.

Discussion on Team Decisions

I'm up quite late. Normally. Yeah, because I go to bed quite late and you messaged me about midnight. Can I call it sperm brothers? I replied, like, no, but then I know she'd already done it, so. All right, mate. Enjoy. Catch up soon.
