And we try to at least find the most possible way to save money whenever I want to travel because the territory is very expensive. Very expensive. So what are the ways that we can use to travel in a much cheaper and affordable way? Or even if it's possible without spending a dime, what are the other opportunities to be able to do such a thing? So basically, can you just tell us a little bit overview of SMS Education group? What, what is SMS education group and why SMS? Because it sounds like the SMS that we send on our phone. But the trick to it is it's not an acronym, you know, it's not an acronym.

Refund Policy and Support for Families
This full refund will be given to you when you've enrolled to the investor, that means you've gotten an offer, you've enrolled and then you're already in school to offer you free refund then. Also, I know a lot of Nigerians are looking for options to be able to travel with their dependents. So people want to travel with their family. If your institution mandates you to take IELTS or your course mandates you to take IELTS SMS, offer a full refund of your IELTS test fee upon enrollments. I need to state that clearly. That is when you have enrolled in university, we'll refund you the full test fee if you don't want, if you didn't take IELTS. Also, one of the other things SMS does is that we can give you for every of our students when they settle in their, when they get to their study destination. So do you know, like, can you say anything about the application process in general, if you want to study abroad, where do you think people should start? What do you advise for? Where should I start from? Yeah, that's a very, very good question. So it depends now on the audience level that we have what the student wants.
Documents Required for Admission
So for undergraduates, or I'll take. If you want to do an undergraduate program or you want to do a master's program, you need to have the compulsory documents, you need to have to begin your application process and you need an international passport. You need your academic documents. Academic documents for undergraduates, you need WA. You need your YEC certificates for. That's for undergraduate. For postgraduate, you need your transcript, you need your bachelor's degree certificates. Then also you need a statement of purpose, depending on the course you'll be needing to show in your CV.
Essential Application Documents
And I have work experience, then letters, reference letters. So basically you need to have these documents. Most importantly, your international passport has to be available and because for all the university, you would need to submit an international passport, have these documents and then you can come to us and we can guide you on the next step or the right step. Okay, so when do you think is the best time to start applying for admission to universities?
Timing the Application Process
Inside Joseph. I see there. Hello? Yes, we can hear you. Okay. Yes, so I said we can hear you, sir. Yeah, I said that the best time is actually now. There are major intakes in different. There are major academic intakes in this industry. So there's a January intake, there's the main intake. There are three main intake and then there's a September intake. So for those students who are interested in traveling abroad, say in January or February of 2025, then we've started taking applications.
Applying Early for Admission
So you can start your application now. If you also want to study in September of 2025 or May, we've also started accepting applications. So the best time to study abroad or to start your process is now. So once you've made up your mind to study abroad, there's no need to delay. So it's just to tell us when do you want to move? If you want to travel in February or January of next year, then it's more urgent.
Application Flexibility
If you want to travel, say, in May, June of next year, it's not as urgent as it is for January, but then when to start is now. You can actually start to in your application for any intake. I would also like to add that for some of our Irish universities, because the Republic of Ireland is emerging now as a top study abroad destination and most of them have September intakes. So because of the rush, it's better you put in your application early.
Starting the Application Process
So don't say I want to go to study in September 2025, so I still have time. Whatever documents you have, you can speak to us and then we can start your application while you gather the rest of your documents. You don't compulsively need to have your transcripts available, but then when we begin the process, then you can apply to get your transcripts from your university. There are so many more. There are many more things I would like to say, but I'm not sure would have all the time to discuss them here.

So in terms of after you've gotten admission and everything, in terms of visa application in general, how long do you think it takes for those that help to get their own visa and then be able to move to the country? Yeah, so visa application is dependent on the country so it's not the same.
Expectations for Visa Application
That's why I said that the time actually is now. If you want to study abroad, it's better you start early so that it give us enough time or you space the time when you're supposed to resume school and then have enough time to apply for visa, but give or take visa application, depending on the country, it takes between two weeks to as two weeks to about one month to get your visa across different countries. Two weeks to one month.

I mentioned that these are maiden events in Lagos, so we're starting with Lagos. We have plans to bring our fair to Abuja very soon. In fact, we have an office in Abuja. Assistance for HND Holders
Yes, what about them? Okay. Yes, of course we do. We do help them in getting admission. I read somewhere, I think, on someone's social media, I can't recall about the discrimination between HND and BSE holders. Yes. I mean, the truth is that it does exist. I don't want to come and say now that we don't, we're not in need for money, even though that's the truth. But then I'm speaking to Nigerians and I'm a Nigerian, so I mean, I will have my salary paid at some points, you know, so I like to be real. We are not in need for money. True. But then because we have direct partnership with these universities, we don't need to get money from our students. These universities have contracted SMS education to help them to recruit students from all over Nigeria to their universities. And then we get some type of appreciation from them.
Clarification on Financial Assistance

Graduation and Transcript Concerns
Okay, so I graduated from the federal investor of technology agure. My graduation year was April 2024. But right at this moment, the transcript is still out and I'm already scouring for a scholarship opportunity. So I don't know, maybe I can still go ahead with applications without the official transcripts being ready. All I have now is just statements of results. So I'm working on my resume, my academic resume. I have that already. But without transcripts, can I still and plan for applications like sending code emails to professor? Do I have to wait till transcript is ready?
Application Process Guidance
Yeah, that's my. Yeah. Thank you very much. Ray, I think if I get you, clearly you want to send code emails to professors because you are scouring for scholarship opportunities. Maybe fully funded scholarship. One of the things that this university or the professor would do is to, they will need to assess your qualification and the only way to do that would be with your transcripts. So I'm not saying you cannot start or you cannot begin, you can begin the process, but to get a response or a definitive answer, say you've been granted a scholarship or given an offer, they would need to actually assess your ability through your transcript.
Importance of Transcripts
Your transcript is the only document that will let them see the courses that you've taken. You know, it gives a vivid description of the courses that you've taken or that you took and your grades for them, just to give them an idea that you've had, you have the prerequisites or you've done the basic courses to actually enable you enroll for the course you've applied for or that you award the scholarship that you want to, that you're applying to so you can actually begin. But before you get this scholarship or the offer, you need to have your transcript ready.
Applying Without Transcripts
All right? So that means I cannot go ahead with the official application? No, no, you can start the application. You can start the application and because like I said, it's best to start now. Don't keep it, don't delay. What's most important once you started is that you're also making efforts to get your transcripts. I know in Nigeria, depending on the university, it might take a while to get your transcripts from your school. So you finished quite recent, April 2024. So I can understand why there's been a, why there's a slight delay.
Proactive Approach to Transcripts
But I, you know, it's not impossible to get your transcript. So you can actually put more pressure in your department with your lecturers and then you can have your transcript. One of the things that they might easily do is because you've started an application, the school, my rights to my right on your behalf. We do that for our students. They might write on your behalf to your university so that they can provide your transcripts. But you need to actually also put some pressure on your school to have your transcript sent.
Meeting Application Requirements
Some schools would actually want for your transcript to be sent directly to the university and not even come through. You all right, I get it. Yeah. All right. Thank you very much. You're welcome.
