Behind the Mic
Good afternoon, everybody. Hopefully you had a really good sleep coming into our second official session of the Pit Mates launch. You know, we've, we've hit our previous AMAs and space spaces and this one is really going to highlight a couple of things, what we're doing with Pit Mates and how we differentiate from other collections and our roadmap and what we, what you can expect from us moving forwards. And really it's just a show of appreciation and gratitude. We can't thank you enough for the resounding excitement on we're seeing on Twitter and in discord. Thanks Matt. Good everyone. We'll see some very familiar faces around here so thank you all for joining us today and you know, taking the time out of the day to jump in. Yeah, look, we have a lot that we're very excited to be sharing with you today but before we kick into it too far, I would like to start by acknowledging the traditional carers of this land and where I'm currently speaking from here in Australia that is the Gucoo Yimethir people. Share with me their everlasting respect to their elders past, present and emerging and really just pay our respects to any other Aboriginal Torres Strait and First Nations people we have listening in here today. Now, I also just want to take a little bit of time before we kick in to thank my good friend Matt here, Matt, the bro Matt here for providing us with this platform to get together and share our project with everyone. Thanks Trent. It's been an absolute pleasure to have you and the team on board. We're excited about this. We've been talking in and out for months leading up to today so thanks again for your time. To share a little bit about the spec mates. Look, we first came to Twitter spaces talking about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin specifically and then, you know, evolved into covering markets, trading advice. It's bloomed into all things Web three. So it's an absolute pleasure to have you join us today and talk about what your team has been working on. Awesome. Thank you everyone. Look, it's a dream come true to get to share our collective bad mates with you all today. For those who might have missed out some of our previous discussions, I'd love to share a little bit about bad mates. Bad mates was born out of a very simple bet, a bet between two friends on if we could sell one million dollars to the fridges. So a lot has changed since then but we're still just betting amongst friends. And that really is what built the core of the project you see here today as, you know, being bigger. And even in this market. And the fees associated with it. So, we built this wallets and we thought, if we're gonna build trust in the system, we need everyone to see how we're doing this light and how we're operating it. Opacity is that the epicentre of everything we're doing. And we promise that we'd be in front of you every day as a team together. Yeah, thank you for that appreciation. I think it's truly invaluable for the Web three space to have folks like you that are humble, open and transparent about, you know, the hard yards put into building out a successful project. You alluded to your roadmap. Could you dive into that and share a little bit more about what lies ahead for our lovely guests listening in here today? Great question. Of course, the roadmap is our visual representation of our shared passion and dedication for this project. We have a lot in the works for our NFT holders. Right now we're working on exclusive printing and staking opportunities. We also have a bad mates comic book series in production. Look, this series is very much at the early stages but we already have some cool art to share and that's just the start. The vision is to expand aspects of what we call the bad mates universe. So that will include more limited edition, 3D collectibles, in real life made trading events and possibly even an animated series or short film showcasing some pivotal moments in the bad mates story arc. That's amazing. I really like how you're integrating tangible and digital elements into your project. Could you tell us a little bit more about the partnership? You you're leveraging to achieve this or are they still very much under wraps? Yes, absolutely. One of the most exciting partnerships we can share right now is our collaboration with an animation studio. We can't name it yet but they're phenomenal and share our vision for creating engaging and visually stunning content. We also have notable partnerships in the works with some Metaverse platforms to design exclusive spaces where our community can interact and connect with each other. And we're working with notable press organizations to further spread the word about dead mates. That's awesome. I can't wait to see some of these sneak peeks that you are going to be dropping. So Make sure everyone in the audience to stay attached to your socials. And speaking of attachment, can you touch a little bit upon your engagement strategies on socials? How are you keeping the dead mates community involved and excited? Of course, community engagement is our key focus. We've got multiple engagement strategies across different platforms, some include regular AMA sessions, Twitter spaces like these and discord hangouts. We frequently release sneak peeks, teasers, and conduct polls to get community feedback. We want everyone to feel like they're a part of the creative process. We also have some community driven initiatives where members can contribute to developing parts of our universe or organise local pit mates meetups themselves with our support. It's all about building a genuinely inclusive and active space. Interesting. Just to piggyback off that Trent, you know, community initiatives are fantastic. And it just prompts the question, how are you aligning governance with these community efforts? Are there certain roles within the community or decision making processes that holders can be involved in directly? Absolutely. Governance tokens. We're implementing a system where governance tokens are distributed amongst our most active members. Token holders can vote on crucial project decisions, upcoming features, or even select community leaders who can liaise directly with us developers. We want our community to have a say. We believe in shared responsibility which can only lead to a stronger and more united roadmap forward. Wow. That's super comprehensive. You know, as a community member myself, it's encouraging to know that my voice is being heard. Speaking of voices, do we have any questions from the audience? Please request the mic. Let's hear what you have to say. Hey guys, fantastic session so far. My question is about the tokenomics model. Can you explain a bit more about the rarity and value proposition of the pit mates? Great question. Thanks so much. I'm glad you're enjoying the session. Look, we've put an immense amount of thought into tokenomics. Each pit mate has attributes and traits, ranked by their rarity and uniqueness. This, in turn, affects staking returns and burn rates. Rarer traits yield better returns. Also, a portion of our sales revenue is allocated to community incentives and buybacks, enhancing token scarcity and maintaining a healthy, dynamic market. Fantastic. Another question here. Could you provide more information about the team's marketing strategies? How are you planning to get the The word out about dead mates to a larger audience? Certainly. Our marketing strategy is multi-faceted. We're leveraging social media influencers, strategic partnerships, and content marketing. We're also planning large-scale events both online and in real life, like demo days, launch parties, and significant announcements at major blockchain and NFT conferences. We understand the value of a robust presence both online and offline. Thank you for that. It's been really insightful. You've really covered many aspects, from tokenomics to marketing and community initiatives. One last question from me. What advice would you give to new NFT artists or developers who are just starting in this space? Happy to wrap it up on that note. For any aspiring NFT artists or developers, my best advice is to remain genuine to your vision. Engage continuously with your community and learn from them. Transparency and trust can't be overstated. And always innovate, keep an eye on market trends, but don't be afraid to think outside the box, and mostly, enjoy the creative process. It's an incredible journey. Thank you so much for that Trent. So insightful and motivating closing words. Before we end this, I'd like to thank everyone for tuning in and listening. Stay tuned to their socials, participate, get involved, and make sure you're a part of the journey. Thank you all so much. Thank you, everyone. Thanks, guys. Thank you very much. Big thanks. Thank you, everyone. Thank you, thank you, thank you. OK Bye Now. Bye."
