Introduction to Hallelujah Challenge
For those who are not aware, Hallelujah challenge is a, it's literally a pray like worship, praise and worship program that goes on. I can't remember how long it is, but literally we join, it's a, there's a pastor in Nigeria, his name is Pastor Nathaniel Bassi and we literally join him for an hour and we just do praise and worship. That's literally it. We just worship God. That is one of the best ways to literally build intimacy with God. Just worshiping and praising God and here and there he does prayer points. But really that 1 hour is focused on worshiping God and the timing is 07:00 p.m. it's going to be 07:00 p.m. 07:00 p.m. eastern time and it's going to be twelve midnight west African time. So I will get more information about Hallelujah challenge and I'll start posting about it in the community. But we will take a brief break and then we are going to continue the prayer spaces.
Future Prayer Space Structure
Again, what I'm thinking about is ten minutes of Bible reading, Bible study, and then ten minutes of prayers focused on our spiritual growth. So I'm thinking about 20 minutes, 2025 minutes. So yeah, just start thinking about ideas. And please, when I call for ideas, if you people don't answer me, I'll cry. I will open the space and I'll start crying. You people should answer me when I ask for ideas. You people should please answer me because I don't want to feel like I took, you know, the sole decision on where, what it, what direction we should go in. So yeah, enough yapping. Long story short, start thinking about what you guys would want to do and what you feel like you would benefit from after, when we get back from the prayer spaces, you people are laughing.
Encouragement and Suggestions for Community Participation
You people are laughing. Don't laugh at me. I'm serious. I will open space. The title of the space would be, nobody in my community answered me when I begged them, when I asked them for suggestions and ideas. I'll just cry for 1 hour. No, I'm just kidding. We will never cry for sad tears in the name of Jesus. But yeah, long story short, the plan really is for please start thinking about it. I really want an idea from everyone. I'm going to do like a big, you know, thread and I'll start asking everyone to start commenting. And what I want is I'll do one tweet and I'll ask everyone to start commenting underneath there. And please, if I start going through the thread, I see that you have not commented, I will call you out. Yes, because you must comment.
Plans and Themes for Prayer Sessions
Everybody has to comment. Because what I want is for us to decide as a group. So start thinking about timing. Do we want 20 minutes? Do we want 30 minutes? Do we want 15? I think 15 is too small for God. We spend like 4 hours on social media, so minimum 20 minutes. We can also stick to 30. And then if you guys want a combination of Bible study and prayers, if you want to do it 1515 or 1010. And what types of prayers? I suggest prayers that are built or focused on intimacy with God. And then we can do different themes as we go. So, like, prayers for healing, prayers for job, career, academics, we can do that. But I really want us to start. We'll focus on Thanksgiving prayers and then spiritual growth.
