Behind the Mic
he BNS community, as I say, we’ve got over 2000 members in the community, over 5000 followers on the X account. They have in essence, I guess we’re maybe slightly fortunate position where we’ve got a. We’ve got our finger on the pulse and the community have said, look, this is what we would like to see in this complete sort of tool management platform for DNS. So that is hopefully what we’re going to be building. It will involve in the future, it will involve making and accepting offers, analytics, various DNS analytics data, potentially, you know, maybe even the user’s data as well, possibly sort of in app messaging, so that there can be some degree of negotiation between, you know, two parties on their BMS names and the sale and things. So, yeah, so there’s tons of different plans and there’s going to be. There’ll be more consultation with the community, you know, going forward. But the MVP is the. Is the starting point, you know? So that’s, you know, as you’ve seen here, that’s what we’re hoping to build, you know, as part of the grunt. Hey, snazzy. I got a question. So. So in everything that you mentioned, right. Like, I guess that sounds really like. I think that’s super cool, but I didn’t hear, like, the man, like, the management of your names part. I guess that’s what I’m kind of thinking is like, like a BNS manager, like, bulk registration, bulk tools. I feel like that kind of goes to what Dan was saying. It’s like we kind of got that speculation market, but, like, is there, like, what there is on BTC us? Like, that’s what I think of. I think maybe. Or maybe that’s just like, my ENS brain work in. But is there anything for, like, management where, like, an individual can go in and say, hey, you know, I want to either change the address on this or update the website record for that, or a content record or something? Or anything like that? Yes. Yeah, there will be. Yeah, so they’ll be. There’ll be, you know, what we’re referring to as community profiles. So you will be able to sort of go into your profile, update all of the various fields and records associated with that. So all of the, as you say, all of the sort of existing tools and things like that, that people have come to, you know, to know and use. So, you know, the transfer of, you know, accelerating a transfer, for example, or something like that. So, you know, if you submit the ID and the contract that’s actually transferring the name to someone else and it’s, you know, moving the name from one wallet to their wallet for sale or something like that. And it, you know, it’s just been. It’s just been waiting in the waiting to be mined in the Bitcoin block and things like that. So there’ll be various tools for that. Most definitely. So. But yeah, all of that will be integrated into that, you know. But that’s, you know, kind of sort of further along in the roadmap. For sure. But yeah. Oh, that that’s. Sorry. I got disconnected. Sorry. Am I back? Yeah. You’re back. Yeah. Sorry about that. I missed it. The end of the question, but. But yeah, no, the idea was just yeah, the management of the name side of things. So yeah. So just exactly that and beyond that one of the things that we’re also looking at is essentially trying to have that that handle that name and that handle synonymize everything that you use. So be that, you know, public profiles or be that, you know, the public stuff that you want to keep public. But then also social networking. Integration, social networking profiles, for example, and things like that, you know, we don’t want to donk suggest round pegs into square holes and things, but, you know, they could form sort of a single pane of glass, I guess. Sort of a public and private plan of glass. So, you know, I see DNS is a very small identifiers kind of thing. So they’ve been identifiers for peers, users, followers, things like that. And I just think that again, just the way that you use and manage those handles, managed with what? And profiles and all of the sort of as someone was saying the records, the records within those domains, the DNA, the DNS handles and stuff and whether or not that works for your social profiles and stuff. There’s various privacy implications. Definitely but yeah, so management of the name side things, definitely granular transaction level, you know, upgrades and updates and things like that and integration with other dapps that we’ve got within the stacks, ecosystem and things like that for people like Aster for example, we’ll be basically managing and stuff. So, yeah, that. Yeah. The future is bright. I mean, it’s, you know, we’ve got a lot. We’ve got a lot on the road map ahead of us and I’m sure you’ll see that within the next presentations. In the next couple of weeks. Wow. Yeah, that sounds really exciting. Thank you for that. Dave. You got anything you want to add to that? No, I, you know, that was great. And I think it was articulate. I’m sure. I’m excited as well. And I think Ben probably share your excitement. So. We definitely see the value in this feature sets. And, you know, we think people people want to use these things and will. OK? So I’m not dropping away for a day or two, but thanks for everyone for speaking and listening and, you know, yeah, definitely reach your fingers X and get the show out to other people come build with us. Yeah. Thanks. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. Cool. Well, I think, you know, we’re coming pretty close to the end of the hour. Here. And. I think it’s probably. Probably time to get everyone. Go on with the day, you know. Ben, you got any closing remarks or. I guess I could plug the grand RFPs. They’ll be released next weekend. We’re looking for proposals from anyone who has ideas for new and innovative ways to use the stacks. Ecosystem, we’re looking for people with ideas for tools, services, things that will help grow, the stack’s ecosystem, improve the user experience, things that will just make it more awesome for everyone. So look out for that on Tuesday. If you have any questions, reach out to me here or in Discord. And I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing proposals. Yeah. Thanks. Well, thanks, everyone for joining us by Amy Dan X Action Group. Definitely a meeting should happen next week for that, and thanks for everybody sharing everything that you guys are working on and their progress with BNS B two. But yeah, so that’s. That’s the plan, is the BNS action group, Dan? I think. I think. I think we follow each other on X. I’m not too sure. So, yeah, I will. I’ll add you to that DM group then. Dave. Dave, are you up for joining? For meeting regularly? For what? A BNS working group? Yes. It’s essentially like a BNS working group, but we’ve called it BNS Action Group because, you know, we just. You know, we just want to sort of. We just want to make sure that we’re like. We’re taking action. I don’t want to say 100% yes, because of scheduling. Just so I can maybe. Let’s talk in the DM’s. And yes, if my schedule allows. Yeah, for sure. 100%. I’d totally be down. It will. I mean, because the spaces are. Because the spaces are every Wednesday or at 05:00 p.m. uTC. It will. It will either. Well, it will essentially either be, I guess, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday at 05:00 p.m. uTC, which is sort of ideal for me because that’s when I’m. When I finish work, essentially. But it’s also fairly good for you guys in the US because I think it’s 01:00 p.m. eastern time and Pacific time. I think it’s 10:00 a.m. or something at the moment. Ten or eleven. Okay. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. Let me, Let me know what day you decide. And, Yeah, I’m in. And, yeah. And if. If anyone else listening is interested in joining the. Or listening to the spaces and is interesting joining. Joining the BNS action group, and I will sort of put a little bit of a call out there as well in the BNS discord. But, yeah, if anyone listening is interested, feel free to just sort of tweet me, dm me. And. Yeah, and we’ll get things. We’ll get the ball rolling, and we’re going to make BNS great again. That’s right. That’s right. Okay, cool. Okay, well, if everyone’s. If everyone’s good, we will adjourn the meeting, the spaces, and I will speak to all of you guys soon. And next. Next Wednesday, of course. All right. Don’t forget to get your applications in, guys. Dan and Dave. Real. Okay, guys, cheers.
