So, Jimmy, do you want to start with share about some inception of BNB chain and what motivates your creation and share some mission and vision? Yeah, sure. Yeah, it's glad to be here. So. Yeah, today is the fourth birthday of the BNbjdehdeh. Actually, from the beginning, the BNB chain overreaching vision is to build the infrastructure that power the next billion users for the web three ecosystem. So we always keep the vision and our action aligned, which means we aims to be the backbone of decentralized and multi chain future. So the users have the discretion and freedom to create and innovative, be innovative and intact without any permission of restrictions.

Technical Innovations and Ecosystem Growth

Future Focus and Security

So within our ecosystem, we have the BSE, which is the BSC BnB smart chain, and Opbnb, which is a scaling solution. And also the BNB greenfield. So this kind of the multi chain environment can empower, we call a one BnB paradigm, that we can abstract the way the complexities of the infrastructure access to allow the users to build the business logic instead of the on chain activities. And also the decentralization and independence is also. We try to achieve decentralization and fairness of the network is also the key factor. We consider the architecture design. For example, this year, actually, we introduced the PBS, which will introduce the more fair and openness and EV marketplace.

Do you think when you make something like a decentralized identity verification like you protecting a D, like did a decentralized identity verification which will help a user like to protect it will protect their KYC when a user, which like it will prevent scams and other staffs. Decentralized Identity Solutions

So what's the point of view from the BMW perspective, whether the did should be post and what kind of solutions right now we have, right. Is Matt correct? Understanding correct. Yeah. Like inventing something like that which will. When every user will have a kYc. So when sending anything, any blockchain, any BNB to any other blockchain because of his verification lies KYC he won't be able to steal or any other thing like that, you know. Yeah. Challenges in Decentralized Identity

Let me try to answer the questions actually with, of course, the did have the potential to revolutionize the way how we manage our, you know, identities. Especially for the kivac, especially the did can be used to create itself the sovereignty identity, which is entirely controlled by the user instead of the, you know, the company or any kind of the big organizations. This of course, can give users more control over their personal data and reduce the reliance of the, you know, the third party identity providers. And of course the did we believe can also be, you know, do the secure authentication, not only the QIC, but also do the authentication and secure and private authentication systems.

Steps Towards Digital Identity

Let me show you some of the information that we're working on. The did actually we have provided some grants for the did solution providers to build on top of the BNB chain. That is for sure, because we believe that did can be a significant step forward to the digital identity. That is for sure. But there are some of the existing challenges. For example, how do we guarantee the identification issuers how to verify the user's real information without revealing the personal data and also how HDId should be cryptographically unique across whole web three world, not only on the BNB chain system, but also across multiple chain ecosystem, for example on ethereum or on any other blockchain.

Developing Solutions for Identity Challenges

That could another challenge that we may face. I think that's primarily this. The reason why the did is still in the early stage. And after that, how we can make sure the did can be easily verified without too much resources, I mean the computing resources to make sure that the users have proved their identity without waiting too long and to make the huge traffic on chain. So of course there are some technical challenges right now and we are working on that and the whole industry is working on that to protect the users privacy. That's for sure. Because we believe that more secure and private user centric identification system is really critical for the web.

User-Centric Identification and KYC

No, the customer KYC, you know, it will help you. You people know with the customers, the KYC, everything to improve the experience. Building Identity Verification into BNB

Every user is, every user is going to light is going to be inbuilt. The security system is going to be inbuilt, meaning every user which is going to have something like a BNB count or a BNB, the KYC, you get me. I think right now because the BME chain actually is the open system. So right now we do not have a strong requirement yet. And just I mentioned earlier, the did actually we are building on it. We have some projects working on the BNB smart chain, the did standards and also implementation. But it's still in early stage.

So I didn't join Crypto until 2022, January 2022. So before that I was in traditional finance, right. When I first joined crypto, it was the hype of everything, right? Bitcoin was like 65 or 69 or something. And ethereum was like 4000. And then think about it, right? If I brought all the money and buy the token, then the next two years, I'll probably be set crying for the entire next two years.

And I might like. I'm not sure if I'm gonna still like a passionate about crypto if I lose everything on the first day, right. If I keep losing whatever, like, everything I have for two years, but instead of, like, enter and then, like, putting all my money to the risk and then trying to get more, right. Trying to get more or lose more, I chose first, right? I was looking for a job in crypto so that I can learn better, so that I can expose to more information. So I would say, like, looking for a job in the space is definitely one of the way. And like a BNB chan, right. And something else is like, there are a lot of. A lot of ways to making money in the space in a safer way, especially for the beginners. Like, I've seen people, right, they translate people's white paper into their own languages to help the projects to build the local community. And I've seen people, they build, like the builder dao, right? They learn, they summarize and they help others about learning the language, learning the coding language. And I've seen people who are good at social media and learn everything about the crypto and then combine the crypto information with their own social media background, and then they do marketing agency. So this is a. I mean, crypto space is really a new world we are establishing.

Like for now Ethereum have like more than 1 million validator that make it become more decentralized chain. But for binbge I see that every single day that you guys choose around 25 to 50 validator to validate the network propose the block and I see that it does like a more centralized rather than the mission of blockchain like to be decentralization. So is there any, I think I have any new plan for the future. Like want to make the chain more decentralization. Yeah, that's my question. Maybe I can cover discussion. Yeah, yeah.

Future Plans for Decentralization

Actually that's a great question actually. Yeah, it is the posa consensus mechanism of the BMJ actually we have the plan to expand the number of the active validators. Right now the active validators that produce the blocks is around 45. So every 24 hours the top 25 validators will be selected to produce the blocks and the remaining validators will take another 24 hours to participate the governance ordering to make sure if they have the more voting power they can be selected the next round. So this is the current mechanism of the consensus and it's kind of trade off or balance between the number of the validators and also the performance consideration.

Vision for Increasing Validator Numbers

So right now we have in 2024, we have the vision to increase the number from the 45 to around 100. It's still ongoing because we are streamlined the distribution after the governance module has been merged with the BSE. So after that we will consider the new roadmap, how to increase the level of the decentralization at the same time without sacrificing the performance. Yeah, this is the current plan. Oh, I see. Yeah.
