Behind the Mic
It's only layer multi chain lending. The US native bitcoin, some other programmable bitcoin and other collateral for the lending part. They've been growing super fast. One of the biggest TBR protocol in our chain, over 330 now. We've been talking a lot of new ones. Some are very interesting. Vanilla finance which we featured on the Cryptopedia season two launched on Okex. They're doing native bitcoin kind of on bitcoin native on chain prediction market. They have some campaigns. They are asking the users, you know, bet like $10 worth of tokens for all kinds of things, including European cup and so on. It kind of like a party market, but for bitcoin, which is pretty interesting. We also have some consumer facing applications, which is kind of cool. I personally are too busy to play around, but I wish I had more time. I think the product looks pretty cool. One called Anomiya native multi chain bitcoin kind of card game, kind of like in 2021. There's quite a lot of interesting card games like Skyweaver with interesting graphics. Users actually have to interact quite a lot of times on chain, make some kind of strategy game with a card. I personally play that offline version and also the on chain version as well. They have tournaments designing right now. They have been actively working and growing the user base, bridging user base to our chain. We also featured them probably in the OKX cryptopedia. The list goes on. The best way to really understand all the ecosystem project layer is just look and tap into our official website@bitlayer.org on the Dapp center we categorize all these dapps, many of them already across defi bridging, infra gaming, all kinds of different assets as well. So we do try to make efforts to integrate with other roon protocol builders. We work closely with roon Terminal recently with another bridging called Omni Network and Boon network that support roon protocol assets to bridge from bitcoin layer one natively to our layer two in a very low cost way and also the two way street. There's quite a lot of things to get built, we still need to build. I think there's some general deployment and processing started. We hope to make bitcoin layer one to layer two very useful yield application. I know this team, Adam is a derivative applicator that we do with first order product. If you build theorem product this is a layer two config on existing product. They're making these announcement, they're working at our layer, in the integration. There's an entire roadmap plan shared among roon developers. They're building interesting leverage trading, mean trading, kind of back end to fit into the existing yield application. They're targeting kind of interesting finding market to bridge. There's quite a lot of teams working on it. Definitely keep an eye on that. I think you're going to be interesting to see when we can put out native bitcoin and also in the future some user facing product in a more integrated way to really facilitate early user adoption when masses really understand via these day-to-day essentially defined NFT because in the future without more massive adoption we're probably going to have a couple of teams making tangible progress. One team is working with issers, tapping into existing assumption that I don't think will be ready probably early quarter launch, probably early next week we have a big alpha, layer two designed. Last couple of months we have promised that in terms of deploy, I still kind of really working progress and we still take with a grain. We have quite a strong engineering team delivering a lot of new roadmap items and a lot of integration. Next months you're going to see a lot of actual, you know, more internal build debugging as well. And on the other hand of that there's also other engineering progress I've seen a lot of speaking with OP team, Optimus kind of integration deploying and we gonna bring more permissiion merchants to build on compose native bitcoin PSPs. It's very early for quite a lot of adoption that we will tap to next level. So without further ado let me introduce our kind of topic. It's going to be pretty interesting and exciting. In terms of progress we can see this layer can be very useful. This can to be one major product differentiate us from other public chains in a very good way to achieve adoption. I have no doubt a lot of interesting product will be rolled out later as well as user adoption experience. Other interesting integration when we can see our kind of bitcoin layer in a much more user friendly application design and to see. Yeah, that's all I can share. So yeah, I think we can move to the next topic. Q & A I think we have Charlie. Hi. Why don't you guys launch a white paper in terms of exactly the bridge the which kind of achieve the final goal of decentralized layer up to bitcoin. I think that's one interesting question. Thank you, Everett. The white paper is actually intensively designed academic driven RD team bitcoin finality fast finality. That's white paper. That's how we process the genesis that include all the engineering road map in a very detailed way and eventually we achieved that's the case like discussed blockchain. That paper is very limited. Mostly for special ecosystem partnership conversations but I think down the road when more development engineers release all these academic preset goals achieved some confident about Post Roadmap engineering average. You're going to see the various version of white paper become public. At this moment we do have part of the roadmap achieve that's kind of like our internal use only and our kind of academic partners judge have like great insight dynamically evolving faster finality and decentralize deeper concept and product. I'm very happy so far the progress we have made. So you probably going to see that very soon. Any timeline in terms of ETH bridge. You can see some other project achieve huge progress in the integration thanks Everett once again. In terms of ETH bridge we have OP team and CVM roll up team actively engaging us building the integration now. They propose or their OPT universe team propose very interesting roadmap to more cross chain bridge, underlying builder with PSP. I think we are going to be really sure about blockchain going to be ready probably year end, probably early next year. But this is kind of engineering more permiss ionless bridging concept with OP builders. We target standard in terms of what kind of assets, what kind of huge demand existing ETH dev already collaborating words on this layer as well. So stay tuned on Twitter likely we gonna make some launching announcement in terms of the OP-wen PSP. Hopefully optimistic as well and also transferable assets with other public chain always our connecting them in a better way closing gap with bitcoin directly. Thank you for the reply. I have another question. In terms of open developer community product how do any hackers project user in the other native team from day one going to get involved and contribute to this open collaboration cool product layer. Thanks April. In terms of product layer we went through actively Bdouble, broad engagement with other tooling defi developers. We work closely with some of the kind of other developer tooling platform to facilitate existed roll up PSP bridge and also existing def iappuser community in roon developer community. They have PSP already achieved huge success in terms of layer native PSP. We're going to participate, we're going to bring in more first order concepts and products to better facilitate layer native defi builders. They have strong community collaborating doing brainstorming sessions, product development with us and we welcome partnership. We already have kind of co product launching PSP, how we finalize design conceptual products. You going to see a lot of live event announcements and kind of show case, more of the concept proof demo with actual developers become maintaining course. So stay tuned, looking forward to share more details soon. I think that's very good insight and very good product to engage broader developer community in a more decentralized way in layer and mainstream adoption important for facilitating achieving finality. Thank you April very good insight. And another question from the twitter, Thomas. How do you compete ether chain and what's why chain build and achieving efficiency. Thanks Thomas. That's an interesting question. So in terms of us defi, layer protocol, ether chain, they do quite some interesting engineering in terms of faster roll ups as well. We also work closely with ether foundation. You probably see the research paper we published. The recent blog in the Devcon and also Dev tooling team shared a lot of engineering and our revisions and opinion and finality and decentralization. That's we also have quite a lot insight and grant program support in terms of academic research. So I guess it's good to build even though ether chain is more main stream ecosystem, we share a lot of insights, also common goal with better chain standard or also the roll up finality engineering designs. So we also build and collaborate on top of kind of eth research team. We work together. For Bit layer we'll collaborate in the future more closely with ether foundation with the roll up and I think in terms of achieving finality faster also other integrated critical assets to share common standard so it's quite complementary what we're doing with both community. So yeah that's what I can share as of now. Thank you. Another question from Ross. How do you see your chain versus investment roll ups? Thank you. Yeah that's also interesting one and very good frequently asked question on Twitter. The concept of native bitcoin layer roll up there's a lot of engineering challenge a lot of innovation required. Like explained earlier with ether chain different. We have native bitcoin finality leveraged kind of eth research and broader protocol design we're working with. We pretty focusing on permissioned less, efficient road map achieving bitcoin native finality, roadmap with the integration. I think there's some great team like numbering team I think they're working also this category similar approach. We're also actively in terms of the roadmap addressing finality, yield application executing out development progressively you will probably see some testing as well on our connecting layer engineering with ether foundation team. That's why we get a lot of ecosystem fund support engaging ether chain supportive, we have actively working. Thank you Ross. Any other question? Why don't you take http link on terms of RVM and roll up explain how you're going to use that. Thanks. Pretty existing layer is quite doing smart MPC, rollups layer we already successfully and thus let's say down the road early stage. We already have quite good engineering existing bitcoin bridging mechanism. We have more to be finished integration wise to bring the RVM design experimenting on bitcoin with PSP. So ideally when integration happens combined with layer two different OP uni which propose Permissiionless rollups is already engineering team doing product integrating external RVM, bridging teams of the product sharing same principle. Design wise you're probably seeing some validation concept and application and then we're going to bring more concrete POC concept on external RVM then once the roadmap finalized expected roughly quarter time frame probably late next year to do quite intense kind of external product integration as well as the roadmap items. Hopefully once we validated for the successful show case we can eventually achieve bridge RVM with the native RVM on top of existing already active roadmap detailed kind of mentioned with PSP roll up as well doing parallel. Thank you Everett. Another question. How do you plan to cost benefit execution? Thank you Derek. Quite a good question. So the leveraging OP builders enabling PSP very efficient integration that's quite kind of step by step detailed roadmap item in terms of finality cost efficient achieving bitcoin layer finality as well. It's quite doing intensive process. We still basically finalize in terms of product and testing progress achieving essentially programme execution in a low cost way. ETH bridge already testing final stage. You probably going to see some product kind of really finalized on bridge final testing once launched. You will kind of hearing some direct announcement. We are planning every step engineering cost efficient designs way in the final implementing are detailed on the roadmap shared within the engineering team quite detailed cross team collaboration lesson learning curve sharing document. We're doing a lot of internal discussion exploring different concept progressive more formal validation and then we going to bring finalized product within PSP which is definitely our active roadmap item currently the entire system engineering process quite challengeing, but a practical and a doable solution. We want to deliver and without actually depending UpcaT and I actually have the cost benefits to achieve the bitcoin finality. Deliver the bitcoin native roll up. Yeah, that's kind of why we're using that, why we are taking this approach and why we are delivering actively. So at this moment we're still working progress. This is something pretty challenging engineering wise, I think compared to a landscape multiple team kind of doing slightly different approach, are kind of working on that. In terms of progress, we are still a couple months away, minimum, like the rest of the world as well. Whoever claimed they already launched it's either over claimed or, you know, misrepresenting. This is still kind of work in progress. We have quite a lot of other sprints and key milestones we need to deliver. Obviously, this also needs to better tested in terms of security vulnerability and a bunch of other stuff. Hopefully we're going to see some real adoption really happening on this big later bitcoin layer two later this year or early next year. Thank you, Charlie. Yes, and apologies if you already answered this, with any specific existing running btc defi protocols. Thanks, Emily. So yeah, I think that earlier I explained some of these already achieved quite a lot of success in our ecosystem, including multi chain lending, NFT, dex, some derivative kind of infra. One example I gave earlier is vanilla finance, running bitcoin layer prediction. They already beta launched on Okex with various campaigns and we've been facilitating quite a lot of roon ecosystem. Some application also we have engaged, building projects happening. I think overall in terms we have quite a lot of these projects target key milestones quite detailed in the internal roadmap. Definitely join our bit layer telegram. We will have more of these online session and also we going to present more in upcoming consensus. Ys going to be very interesting. We'll also bring a lot interesting, know more launch planned bit layer roadmap. So yeap stay tuned. looking forward to kind of share more. Thanks Emily. Another interesting question. When you launch gaming NFT roll ups. Thank you Chris. Very good question. As of now we have existing kind of more infra finality lvg concept we developing. It's going to take a little bit longer time to more finalized, launch our tutorial. Without further extension integration concept is to achieve efficient scalable gaming NFT engaging various platform existing ecosystem. Integration quite good initial concept we day one we have infra gaming and also permissionless channel quite a lot community builder product executing. It's still early stage but we will kind of finish and present a lot product roadmap delivering engaging diff native nft yield gaming product. So you gonna share another detailed design kind of milestone some very interesting infra build definitely share that in our social channel. Appreciate all the patience as we go through step by step. Thank you Chris on the question. How do you see infra builder closing quite complicated staking and also application mining with other chain staking infra concept that's permissionless. Thank you Leslie very good question. At this moment existing solely integrating quite ef two staking. We do kind of bring interesting theorem foundation staking program design in terms of bridging bitcoin staking natively. Without performance low cost and also how we achieve better adaptation and done quite simplified user onboarding and also engineering testing. We do have product concept shared detailed staking design better permission assignment quite existing already implemented I think EF archive without detail on roadmap. We're going to probably in sometime later this year. Yeah so more testing quite a lot engineering deployment quite a lot of concept probably better for existing staking. Qau launch phase going to be very arbitrary but quite promising great design without simpler way staking understanding and better permissionless marketing product integrating into the layer. Thank you Leslie, hopefully this give good insight another question. Any mainstream adoption target when you achieve broader adoption. Thank you Dominik good question. Achieving broader adoption definitely very key to everyone's mind. So I think definitely one of the importance for us overall product that's kind of def infra without essentially huge kind of broader adoption we probably a couple key product achieving building blocks permissionless infra layer. Definitely broader adoption implement progressive stage maintaining better infra and also better def product kind integration also existing defined product. Thank you Dominik. Another question, early gaming user protocol achieving more dominance. Thanks Robert the good question. Definitely early gaming especially a lot of the gaming studio engaging. On day one we actively engaging some two RPG product built internally. We want to reaching out to broader gaming community. All these have quite good focus and discussions probably better aim later this year. You ganna see more of these concept product milestone as well. A couple developer community really helpful bridging discussions also by quite detail. Look forward to some of these launch. Thanks Robert Another question, main steering adoption of gaming you bridged is the technical challenge engineering product engaging broader developers. Thanks Emily Good question. Like described earlier without faster finality quite good progress engaging ether to existing deploying protocol. I think going to be very interesting engineering product will be presented probably some time early next early year stay tuned and you'd going to see some of these product shared internally engineering wise exciting to share more achallenges. And another kind of I think from last year is actually from day one native infra def product. Also we are going to bring back our monthly developer call build update later this month. You guys keep a look on our Twitter we're going to schedule fixed developer update every month. So yeah stay tuned you probably going to listen mono being involved more actively internal design as well as some announcement. Q&A· Thank you another question from Alan Nathan how do where you target Q2 stating 2023. Q2 hopefully we have the bridge quite good testing program keeping a high and we going to release. Also we have existing list better staking product as discussed and permission less staking product so hopefully you're going to see some release Y2 or maybe several that we going to be presenting internally some of the token based defi staking one product. As our design detail proposed kind benchmark discussing definitely exciting looking forward to share on. How do you see infra closer to managing targeting average developer tooling easier to include developers. Thanks Derek. Like proposed from day one. It's very multiple builders engaging infra and protocol engineer developing all the tools ecosystem also we have quite good developers yield exisiting we tried bringing SOP next month. You can see a lot developers engaging on various aspects ETHdefi dev tool and also bridging concept share more in the social channel. Thank you. How do you see other answering question yield product infra engineering without core product gaming defi. Thank you. Thanks Mike good question quite a lot competitive gaming defi product achieving yield as well. We have quite interesting product engaging developer yield from sharing supporting tool and other roadmap infra design. Hopefully you'd going to see gaming products road that quite achieving. Defi gaming community welcome and assist us and share also these milestones internally and engineering process step by step rolling out looking forward to share more milestone. Thank you. And our question from next guy Thanks I think I answered quite comprehensive today's call more question always on our Discord on Twitter engaging reach out listeners overall sharing more amazing insights next few months. We do have quite some product launch bridging new upcoming community crypto discussion event launching PSP infra gaming defi yield. A lot of these interesting product implementing engineering detailed roadmap as well as other developer ecosystem community event you probably ganna join meeting online. Thank you Derek another question Twitter Angie. Appreciate the time that Q2. Test when going through staking broader achieving. Thanks Angie. Good question. So Q2 hopeful bridging PSP integrating. We have some terms roadmap target discussion every bit of step milestone. Definitely from day one Q! product achieving broader goal integration early testing main net timelines definitely great step map understanding bridging PSP without other product development. You're going to see a lot these milestone our online. Thank you. A lot of things happening Belair follow our Twitter. That's the best way to keep up to date. A lot of alpha. We try
